Beautiful Stay!

Beautiful clean house right on Jordan Bay, Sebago Lake. Wonderful spot to get on the lake for some ice fishing! Would love to come back. Four stars overall only because neither of the two fire places worked and one of the entrance doors was broken upon arrival.

Great place!

We had a wonderful time. Great location, house was great, plenty of kayaks and paddle boards. Great outside spaces. Our one minor complaint would be the sectional sofa on the main floor - well worn so it sinks down and is not very comfortable and hard to get out of for us older folks! Beds very comfortable, beautiful bathrooms, very clean.

Vacation family fun

Property was as advertised. Very well stocked with all kitchen supplies, bedding, towels, etc. Ample number of kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards.

Fantastic stay

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It was just as great at the first, the house is roomy for 9 people. Our teens loved the loft with their "own" space. The views of the lake are great and the house feels isolated but is close to everything that makes running out nice and easy. The house has a nice dock and large swim area. The kayaks and paddle boards they have are great! The swim area is a little rocky, like most places on Sebago but swim shoes fixed that. We rented a boat and really enjoyed our time there.

Jordan Bay Waterfront

The house is beautifully sited on the Jordan Bay/Sebago Lake. It is well stocked for water sports with a functional dock and swim platform and a good variety of kayaks and paddle boards. The house was very clean on our arrival and well stocked with the indoor necessities and outdoor furniture.

Sensational is right!

This house was perfect for our family vacation. We loved the open floor plan and the large windows overlooking the lake. The deck and dock are perfect for a morning coffee. The rooms are clean and spacious and there is plenty of parking. It was so nice to have a local marina, ice cream shop, grocery store and seafood shack all within a five minute drive but yet have the serenity and peace when at the house. Although we could see neighbors, there is a feeling of privacy while on the deck and in the yard. Steve and Desni were extremely gracious hosts and did everything they could to make our stay exceptional. You won't be disappointed!

Great Main getaway

Traveled to Maine with large family to visit oldest son and wife. Stayed at this property as we wanted not only a base to visit surrounding Maine but also a place to relax and enjoy some lake activities. This place didn’t disappoint. Great location on Jordan Bay of Lake Sebego. Lots of kayaks, paddle boards, and a canoe such that the whole family could get out on the water. Good fishing as well. Check in/out went smoothly and the place was very clean and nice upon our arrival. Family had a great time!

Wonderful Fall Getaway

My parents had originally planned to join my husband and I when he made the reservation. Unfortunately they didn’t join us, so it was a lot of home for just the two of us. But WOW, what a beautiful, well kept home. It has all the essential items needed to prepare meals and live like we were at home. We only slept in the master bedroom and that bed was comfortable. The view of the lake, especially in the fall is spectacular. The communication with the owners before, during and after our stay was great. We loved our stay and would definitely want to stay there again! Thank you for sharing your home with us and our sweet golden-doodle!!

This was an amazing place for a family vacation. The property had everything we could possibly want for comfort and convenience, as well as access to equipment for fun on the lake. It was the perfect way to spend a gorgeous week in October.

Stay Away

This rental is clearly a case of being promised filet mignon and being served “ground chuck”. So let’s start: When we rented the property, before leaving, I emailed the owner asking about air conditioning. As most people know, the summers are getting hotter and Sebago is no exception. High 80’s to low 90’s are not uncommon in August, making sleeping without air conditioning all but impossible. “Yes, " replied the owner, it is air-conditioned”. And that is true… IN ONE ROOM. We all spent the week sleeping with the bedroom doors open in hopes of getting a breath of cool air. Outdoor shower? Yes… Not working though. Swim Raft? Yes, Temporarily out of the lake and sitting on the ground for repair. Fire pit? Yes… No chairs though. Enjoy standing around the fire. Mooring? “Yes,it’s not in”. Just lash your boat to the downwind side of the dock. This is enough to make me scream! You can't do that on Sebago! The gang plank leading to the floating dock is beyond belief unstable as is the dock… Both of them pitch from side to side and when several people are coming down at the same time, it's anyone’s guess as to who is ending up in the lake first… We had several people in our group in their seventies and a fall would be no laughing matter. And please believe me, they really, really, had trouble… Stay away from this one folks.

Great place with lots of space

We just visited the property it was great. There were beautiful views of the lake, easy access to the water with steps into the lake. Like typical Sebago it is rocky so if you have anyone with sensitive feet bring water shoes. A nice dock for a boat and lots of space in the house for a large group ( which we were). The interior of the house was very clean and stocked with all the essentials.

Sebago Lake Home

We loved our stay in this beautiful home! It was very clean, impeccably maintained, with beautiful & comfortable furniture. The loft has two twin beds which my teenagers commented were the most comfortable beds ever (this area would not be appropriate for small children as the railing is open looking down over the living room). The kitchen literally has everything you could possibly need, all linens, towels, trash bags, paper towels, etc were provided, even laundry detergent! Plenty of water toys and life jackets for use were available as well as a pile of dry wood for the fire pit. There is so much seating available, indoors and outside it made entertaining a breeze! The dock is lovely for sitting on and appreciating the incredible lake view. The property manager, Casey, stopped by to grab trash twice and see if we needed anything, and to make sure everything was going well. Honestly, this home is amazing and exactly as described in the listing. I cannot wait for them to open the 2024 bookings so we can visit again!!
