Summary:
Enjoy a cup of Joe as the F-15's fly overhead from LAFB and the fishing boats pass by. Windmill Point is located on deepwater access and is 2.3 miles from Grandview Nature Preserve Beach. Grandview Nature Preserve is open to the public free and forms the northeast corner of the city of Hampton. The Preserve covers over 475 acres of salt marsh, tidal creeks, and Chesapeake Bay beachfront. The Preserve is a great location to beach comb, observe the migratory birds, and photography. It is also a great place for fishing. You will need to obtain a saltwater fishing license from Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries.

NOISE WARNING -THIS PROPERTY SITS 1 mile from Langley Airforce Base, you will be exposed to very high levels of jet noise. Please keep this in mind before booking. You will also get to see our amazing jets every day!
A charming 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home with sweeping views of Back River in Hampton. The home has 2 queen beds and a full over twin bunk beds sleeping 3 and 3 full bathrooms. The home was made for outdoor life, with tons of place to enjoy the water, a relaxing outdoor deck and swing. Take in the birds of nature and the birds of America, our Langley Air Force Base fighter jets (they are loud).
Please Read - Landscaping is schedule weekly in Newport News & Hampton. Weather patterns may affect this so we can not promise what da If you are booked for this property you acknowledge our landscaper will enter the front and backyard to cut the grass. Trash is scheduled to be picked up 3 days a week, you also acknowledge that our private trash provider will be on site bringing cans out and back in.

1) Our properties are protected by Truvi. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by Truvi directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within thirty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.

5) Fireworks are illegal in our area and use of them is cause to end your stay.

GOSNOLD’S HOPE PARK/HAMPTON BMX SUPER TRACK
Gosnold’s Hope Park is the second largest development park in the city consisting of 105 acres.l It offers the public eight picnic facilities complete with tables and grills, campsites, restrooms, a public boat ramp, a fitness trail, athletic fields, children’s playground, picnic shelters with tables and grills for reservation, and a BMX track. There are 16 Trailer Sites designed for RV use only, no tents are allowed. The space is available 24-hours a day on a first come, first served basis—no reservations are accepted. Campers can stay no more than 14 days in any 30-day period and the $31.20 per night fee includes electricity, water hook-up, access to a shower and sewer dump. Each site features a picnic table and charcoal grill, user must provide own charcoal.

Neither Sojourn nor the owner guarantee the safety or security of any vehicle parked in the parking space and disclaims any responsibility for any acts of theft, vandalism, or other criminal activity.
