Este apartamento ofrece a nuestros huéspedes a permanecer en un contexto de valor, los estilos arquitectónicos que se mezclan para crear un ambiente único, capaz de vivificar la mente.
El apartamento consta de dos dormitorios dobles, alquilados juntos decoradas con elementos de diseño y de alta calidad. TV, zona wi fi, ipad son sólo algunos de nuestros servicios. En las dos habitaciones encontrará todo lo necesario para su estancia, y ropa de cama para las toallas. Hay dos baños completamente independientes con una gran ducha y secador de pelo. Salón con estufa de leña, cocina equipada y plaza privada al aire libre son los elementos principales que caracterizan este apartamento. El desayuno se sirve bajo petición.
Posibilidad de tener la cena con reserva previa, típico de Val d'Orcia preparados de acuerdo con las tradiciones locales.

Wonderful town

The property is well kept and comfortable. Montichiello is such a lovely village and not overrun by tourists. Francesco was a gracious host. The view from the front of town in fantastic!

Exceeded Our Expectations even after reading all the Wonderful Reviews!!

The reviews say it all and more!!! I’ve been to Tuscany a few times before and This place is a find!!! Perfectly located between Pienza and Montepulciano! Quiet walked town. And the food!!! La Porta restaurant!!! And Francesco’s breakfasts - Wonderful!

Francesco is by far the best host we have ever experienced. His place is wonderful, the area stunning and a great point to travel from to see other historic sites. Francesco was waiting for us when we arrived and helped us move luggage from the car to the accommodation! He was very kind and helpful, and the home was immaculate and modern in a building that probably dated back to 1100! His wife Serena has a restaurant in town that we loved, and the food was delicious! She was also a wonderful person!

This place is amazing. Apartment and town is charming and very Tuscan. Sunsets were jaw dropping. Perfect spot to use as homebase for exploring country side.

Happily with the energy of the village. The restaurants were outstanding. View spectacular. The host was very attentive, daily cleaning, laundry offered, recycling daily.

Pleasantly Delicious

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was in a great location, in a great little village. The apartment had everything we needed. Francesco and Serena are wonderful hosts and very accessible. The best part for a foodie like us is that there are 5 restaurants literally steps from the door. Which was great for us, as I wasn’t too keen on driving at night.

Better than expected.

Francesco was an amazing host. The photos on line do not do the apartment justice. Everything was clean, modern and comfortable. Francesco was extremely helpful with the check in and giving us recommendations for our dining options which were in walking distance from the apartment. The breakfast was more than expected. The village is set in an area that was convenient to Pienza and Montepulciano.

My Tuscan Dream

I do not have enough wonderful things to say about Francesco and his lovely home, and as well the AMAZING hospitality where he went above and beyond to make our stay nothing short of fantastic. He's a wonderful host. Breakfast was a nice added tough. Monticcielo is a sweet little quiet village. I'm now dreaming of a home myself nearby someday. I highly recommend if you are looking to get away from the crowds and rest. There are multiple Michelin star restaurants in this tiny town. The home was very modern on the inside and ancient and historic on the outside. He and his team will make you comfortable. I cannot wait to return!

Very nice, small village with good restaurants.

We enjoyed our time and location here. The kitchen could have a few more cooking supplies but Francesco tried to get us what we needed. The few things that would have improved our experience - higher, more comfortable kitchen chairs, same in sitting area(we are seniors and difficult to get up) and last, both standing fans need cleaning, fortunately we didn’t use.

Fabulous Experience

This is a modern apartment in a peaceful authentic walled city in the heart of Tuscany- Monticchiello! It has great restaurants- Daria and La Porta to name just two. It is located close to Pienza, Montipulicano, Montalcino and the Brunello wine country. Francesco is the host and owner. He provides a wonderful breakfast and free laundry service. He is very responsive and takes great care of his guests. The four of us had a wonderful time there and highly recommend this town and property. You will not be disappointed.

Perfection in Paradise

This property exceeded the description in both quality and expected size as described on the website, and met our needs perfectly for a comfortable long stay in a hilltop village as a base for exploring southern Tuscany. The value offered for the rate paid is exceptional. The photos are 100% accurate. The bed was comfortable and the main floor bathroom was unusually spacious. Spotlessly-clean Monticchiello is lifted out of a fairy tale, and the views from the town's entrance gates of the Val d'Orcia evoke paradise. If guests find the town a bit too quiet, Pienza and Montepulciano are a short 20 minutes away through achingly beautiful scenery. Above all, Francesco is an exceptional host, the best we have ever encountered in our substantial travels. Warm, welcoming, always available to answer questions or to address any issues (and there were very few), he remains the best part of a stay that was wonderfully memorable in every way. We shall miss him and will always savour our month spent 'unplugged' in Tuscany.

The property is perfectly located just inside the qate of Monticchiello and it's decor is pleasant.

Monticchiello is a wonder. The village terms with artistic creative energy not to mention the beauty of the impeccable restoration of the town itself. We spent 9 nights using Monticchiello as a base for exploring the Val d'Orcia region. Our time passed far too quickly, spent usually driving within a half hour trip from home base to explore a town on foot. We usually got lunch in late afternoon returning home to prepare dinner using the stellar array of Tuscan produce to create nice meals in the kitchen which boasts a full oven and 4 burner stovetop. We also were fortunate to have dinner out at the tavern run by the Theatre Povere group. I forget it's name but will not soon forget the lively, happy atmosphere that set the tone for our visit on our arrival evening. We dined at Ristoraunte Daria which was barely a slow 1 minute walk away. We knew Daria to preside over an exceptional establishment and were not disappointed. This is a great place to reside while exploring Val d'Orcia although it is a small quite village and might not appeal to those seeking a night life. If , however you seek time in a stunning medieval village with your own apartment in the midst of the local population, you would be hard pressed to beat this property. Tuscany may be the most beautiful place on earth. The region is synonymous with art. From the architecture to the landscaping of the farms every turn of the road reveals another description defying vista. Then the art , both ancient and modern, fine or utilitarian, is everywhere. The cuisine is an education in simple yet complex tastes that celebrate local producers. Everyone was very helpful to us showing great patience for our almost non existent Italian. I will put a return to Tuscany high on my priority list.

Mi ritengo molto fortunato ad essere nato qui, con il mio lavoro quotidiano cerco di trasmettere ai miei ospiti, almeno per qualche giorno, le setesse sensazioni che provo, ed ho sempre provato, nel vivere in questo angolo di paradiso.
