Sparkling Clean
We stayed in the apartment for 7 nights. It is a sparkling clean pretty large new apartment on the third floor of a 5 stories housing complex with a private pool. The apartment is overlooking the inner courtyard, which is very quiet. There are 3 bedrooms:
- queen bed with a comfortable mattress, air conditioner, and in-suit bathroom
- two twin beds one of which has a comfortable mattress and another has a very hard mattress, and an air conditioner
- one twin bed with no air conditioner (we did not use this bedroom).
There is an air conditioner in the living room. All air conditioners are powerful and quiet. Hot and cold water pressure is excellent. Internet is fast with about 40 mbps download speed. The host supplies everything you would need during your stay (toiletry, laundry detergent etc.).
There is no dishwasher in the apartment and the kitchen fan is very noisy. Communication with Alberto was difficult and even lost at all at some point but after he supplied his son Daniel's phone number the communication became smooth.
Underground parking space is very large. The apartment is ideally located for exploring Madrid and its vicinity (Toledo, Segovia, Salamanca, ets.). It has an immediate access to the highways in all directions and is a 25 min drive from Central Madrid ( which is roughly the area between the Royal Palace and Prado Museum). Using popular parking booking website, for 5 Euros we were able to reserve an underground parking space for the whole day 20 min walk from the Royal Palace. For 10-12 Euros per day you can have a parking space in Central Madrid but keep in mind that cars with Spanish licence plates must have a sticker to park in Central Madrid.
Overall the apartment is very comfortable for living and I recommend it for guests with a car.
