Ubicado en uno de los pueblos con más encanto de Portugal es esta preciosa casa de 2 dormitorios Azoian típico con vistas al mar desde las dos terrazas; la terraza de arriba y el de abajo. Recientemente ha sido reformado al más alto nivel. Una cocina totalmente equipada fue construido por uno de los mejores diseñadores de cocina portuguesa, Velharias de Janas. Los azulejos en los baños y cocinas son pintados a mano por Santa Ana fábrica de cerámica, la famosa tienda de azulejo de Lisboa. A / C en todas las habitaciones. Los mosquiteros se han fijado en todas las ventanas, que es una rareza en la zona. TV, DVD y conexión inalámbrica a Internet están disponibles. Microondas, horno, hervidor de agua y una máquina de café están disponibles en la cocina para uso de los huéspedes, así como un secador de pelo y plancha con tabla de planchar. Un pequeño jardín y 2 terrazas con vistas al mar y al pueblo. Un funcionamiento chimenea de madera de gran tamaño.

La casa está construida en el corazón del casco antiguo de Azoia en una zona tranquila y apartada en torno a algunas otras propiedades encanto. Está a unos minutos a pie de una de Portugales 'restaurantes más destacados y de pescado superior, Refugio da Roca (los precios son razonables para algunos platos y el vino de la casa es excelente) y cuatro cafés locales con encanto en las cercanías - Casa Victor, Café Ocidente y El Moinho . El molino de viento / Moinho, bien conocida por sus excepcionales vistas y configuración en un entorno hermoso y ecléctico es menos de 10 minutos a pie. Se abre al mediodía y hasta después de la medianoche. Sirven sándwiches, hamburguesas, platos mexicanos, cócteles, ensaladas y bebidas calientes.

Un bar local "Sunset Bar" y un café billar son pocos minutos. Restaurantes Pau de Trigo y Ze Padeiro están a pocos minutos a pie de la casa de campo también.

Praia da Ursa está a unos 5 minutos en coche o autobús. Praia Grande, Praia Pequena, Praia das Macas, Praia da Adraga y la playa de Guincho son unos 15 minutos.

Sintra, Colares, Almoçagem y Penedo están cerca y Cascais y Estoril están a unos 20 minutos en coche.

Lovely Azoia

We had a fabulous time In Sintra and very much enjoy our little cottage. It is ideally located to visit the area and the cottage is perfect as a base for a successful stay. It has every thing you need if you want stay and cook there but we very much enjoyed eating out as Portuguese restaurants are so delicious. Yasmine has been a great help with everything we needed. We would love to go back !

Traditional house

Nice traditional house in a good location. Restaurants and bar in easy walking distance, although no local shop (car/bus needed for this). The bus service was regular and cheap and we used this service to visit Sinatra and Cascais. There is a parking space available which we used, although the short distance from the main road consisted of very narrow streets to negotiate - a small car is helpful here! House as described, although perhaps a little more ‘cluttered’ with books, additional furniture. Host left useful ‘welcome pack’ which was much appreciated. There were just the two of us, so we had plenty of room. The downstairs en-suite shower was very good so we used this one rather than the upstairs in-bath one where the ceiling was low above the shower. The main bedroom bed was large though a bit too soft for us. We had very good weather so were able to make use of the outside areas.

Tout est absolument parfait: nos hôtes sont incroyables de gentillesse et de disponibilité. La maison: un petit bijou. tolle Unterkunft

Uns hat die Unterkunft sehr gut gefallen. Es war genau so, wir wir uns das vorgestellt hatten: ein landestypisches, sehr gut ausgestattetes Haus. Toll waren die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten bei der Ankunft: Der Kühlschrank war gefüllt mit frischem Obst, Butter, Käse...und einer Flasche Wein. Was auch gut war, da im Ort selbst es keine Möglichkeit zum Einkaufen gibt. An den Waschbecken waren verpackte Zahnbürsten, Zahncreme...Und Bettwäsche von Bassetti - das hat uns doch positiv überrascht. Man sollte wissen, dass es überall im Ort tolle Wachhunde gibt, die schnell und lange anschlagen...Der Ort selbst ist eher verschlafen - es gibt tolle Restaurants! Zu empfehlen ist, sich ein Auto zu mieten, - am Besten gleich am Flughafen, da die Busreise nach Sintra einfach - jedoch dort der Weg zur Autovermietung nicht unkompliziert ist. Toll wäre es, wenn es in Zukunft in der Unterkunft Sonnenliegen gibt, die haben leider gefehlt. Ansonsten top ausgestattet! Es war eine schöne, entspannte Zeit - wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen!

Excellent location and house

We stayed from 1st - 7th June 2019 in Azoia. a very nice village with a bar restaurant called the windmill with spectular views about the ocean. Nice beaches with fish restaurants in the neighberhood. The house is very nice and comfortable with 2 terasses with nice views. Also the welcome by the owners was very warm and even the refrigerator was filled with food and wine. Tip: We visited lissabon by driving to railway station in Cascais (20 min and parking in garage under station). From Cascais beautiful train voyage to Lissabon. From there all public transport is leaving. We had an excellent time. Anton & Ina from The Netherlands

Great location and characterful property

The property is in a great location for exploring the Sintra region: near the beaches and Sintra itself. It’s full of character and surprisingly spacious, with plenty of room for a family. We didn’t make as much use of the patio areas as we expected because of the very strong Nortada (north wind) all week, and the fog would sometimes descend by evening. But in normal weather they’d be great. We enjoyed walking to Ursa beach (steep) from near the Cabo and would highly recommend Peninha for a view and somewhere quieter than Sintra! You can do some forest walking there too. Driving in and out is tight but we were fine with a biggish car once someone had guided the first time. We found the supermarket in Colares had everything we needed and the street market in Almoçageme (Sat/Sun) was excellent (it’s on the main road, not in the village!). Enjoy!

Lovely cottage very quiet and cosy

We had a wonderful holiday in this lovely cottage. It is beautifully appointed with quirky ornaments and paintings everywhere you look. I believe it was the home of one of the members of the family that own the properties Turzain on Owners Direct and has left all the personal touches. This makes it very homely. The kitchen is lovely and well fitted out we cooked some lovely meals there as well as eating out a lot. The previous review is correct that it is up a mountains so it is windy and misty but sitting on the terrace you are below most of the wind but have the full heat of the sun. You will need a light jacket and cardigan especially in the evenings. The garden is lovely with strawberries and limes and lovely flowers. Zain and her daughter Yasmin are always available to help if you have problems. We had a couple of lovely evenings lighting the fire in the sitting room (very romantic) This is a holiday we will remember. ALWAYS HIRE A SMALL CAR VERY NARROW ROADS AND PARKING! Thank you Zain and family

Stunning cottage full of style & charm

A perfect village hide-away, all spot-on and as described by the owner. The cottage is lovingly and elegantly furnished, it was spotless & felt like being in someone's home. Zain was a thoughtful and generous host, the fridge was stocked with local delicacies and there was ample fruit and vegetables to get us started. She also provided us with many useful tips of what to do and see and where to eat. Great views from the terraces and the open fire was welcome on cooler evenings. A gem.

Maison super équipée et accueil très attentioné

La maison est très bien équipée et très agréable. Nous avons été très bien accueilllis par Zain qui donne aussi de bons conseils sur la région et est à l'écoute de ses visiteurs. De bons restaurants à Azoia et un magnifique bar à cocktail à l'entrée du village permettent de passer d'excellentes soirées au retour des balades.

A Gem of a Holiday Cottage

We greatly enjoyed our two-week stay in this beautiful little house in Azoia. The owner Zain could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The house with its cosy and lovingly decorated rooms and sunny terraces is perfectly located to explore the sights around Sintra, Cascais and Lisbon. There are even a few very nice restaurants just around the corner in the village. Watching the sun set from the upstairs terrace with a bottle of chilled Colares wine was a cherished part of our holiday.

Trés bien

la maison est très agréable et très bien équipée, la propriétaire qui habite dans la même rue nous accueille chaleureusement . Mais lorsque nous avons payé le solde de la réservation il serait bien que vous nous donniez l'adresse exacte et entière sans que nous devions vous la réclamer, Azoia ne suffit pas il faut aussi Colarès pour la rentrer dans le GPS sinon on se retrouve perdu dans des chemins de champs .

What a lovely Cottage! Heaven on Earth...

I spent a week in this beautiful Cottage with my parents and it was a wonderful time for all of us. First of all because of the high quality of everything inside the house. Excellent bedrooms, very quiet and full of sun, during the day, with an unforgetable view; excelent living room, kitchen, bathrooms, patios, etc. Everything is decorated with such a good taste... And everything reveals the owner's touch, the owner's kindness and generosity towards guests! The house has 3 patios with exceptional view to the sea and the sunset. Since Azoia may have some cloudy mornings, the house is very cosy and has a big fire that we used once, just for the pleasure and comfort of being seated by the fire, seeing the sea... The house is full of beautiful details and has the best comfort ever. If it's hot outside, the air conditioned works perfectly; if it's cold outside, we can heat the house and seat by the fire. The 3 patios are places where we feel like in heaven. It's difficult to choose the best patio... The Cottage has internet and all the devices and gadgets that allows being connected to the world, and for me (as a journalist and writer) this Cottage was so cosy and so beautiful, that I want to go back a lot of times. To spend there good time with family, but also to write there and to walk around, since the Cottage is really well placed, in the center of a small village, where the neighbours are pleasant and discrete. Me and my parents we fell in love with the owner of this Cottage and with the house, and that's why I'm writting this review: to share with others our wonderful experience. And the dream of coming back very soon!
