It was a perfect little place in the middle of everything. We were in town for Tortuga music festival. This is a great little place and quite cozy. Very Quiet.

Lesas Retreat

Enjoyed our stay. The property manager was very responsive. This house is in a historical area and daily walks were interesting and property not far from shopping areas. The house is quaint, the backyard could use an update but the rest of the house is nice and comfortable. Great Wi-Fi and TV with apps. Overall it was a win!

Quiet neighborhood, nicely appointed property.

This a comfortable apartment size property that is well maintained and has all the basic amenities. I spent 9 days here and had a very enjoyable time. The neighborhood is quiet but is close to some very active areas that included access to many restaurants. The beds are very comfortable, bathrooms in good condition, and a kitchen that had all the utensils and pots/pans to cook 2 meals a day without any problem. There also is a gas grill just out the back that could be used if you are feeling inspired. TV and internet were high speed and reliable the entire time I was there. All in all a very nice experience.

Not Recommended

We were quite disappointed in the lack of upkeep and maintenance, the unkempt and dirty nature and damaged and discolored furnishings in the rental property. It does not look anything like the pictures that were displayed on the VRBO webpage. The property was dirty when we arrived and had not been properly cleaned. The walls, doorways and moldings were chipped and needed a touch up. All of the AC units were had mildew and stains on them and the filters were filthy. There was an awful smell throughout. There were multiple burned out lights in the property. The floor throughout the property had multiple stains and discoloration. The kitchen cabinets had broken knobs. The refrigerator was missing a shelf. The refrigerator is missing a shelf and the ice maker has been disconnected. The patio had discolored flooring, dirty and the chairs were stained and chipped. The furniture was broken and had stains and scratches. The kitchen table and chair are are stained and the top is uneven from water damage. The outside chair in the front of the house was in disrepair and was unsafe. The toilet leaks and the bathroom ceiling was filled with mildew. None of the windows are operative and opening mechanism removed. The property is not a house; it is a duplex. At this time, the property has not been met the standards of the Fort Lauderdale Vacation Rental regulations. The owner addressed a few of the issues and was critical of other concerns.

What's not to love?

Our stay 's purpose was a reunion with our naval officer son whose ship was in port. The house was a perfect location. It had two comfortable bedrooms as well as a very well appointed living room and kitchen/dining area. The kitchen was well-equipped and the hosts offered a number of special touches like a welcome bottle of wine, snacks, supplies of coffee, tea, sugar and cream, etc. They also provided an extensive welcome book giving not only info about the neighborhood and house but also about the TV remote. In our experience, trying to figure out how the TV works can often be a headache so that guide was much appreciated. Every renter should do it! We would chose this house again.

Nice litttle House

Small 2 bedroom house but has everything you need for 5 people. Modest house but quite if you want to rest. 5 min away from Las Olas Beach and 10 min from Fort Lauderdale Airport. I will remove the carpet from under the patio table in the back yard. The previous guest left the beach chairs outside and they go dirty so we couldn't use it but is not the owner' fault. Everything inside the house looks good and is comfy. You have smart tv internet and AC. We had a great time.

The Inside of house was pretty well kept, however, the outside was not cleaned whatsoever and was not useable. I had my six year old with me and part of the reason I picked this place was for a little outdoor seating for her, so I was a little disappointed.

Had a fantastic stay at Lesa's Retreat!

Went for a long weekend with some girlfriends (all fully vaccinated) for a fun, socially distant getaway! Had a fantastic time! The location is great - it is a quick drive to the beach, lots of good restaurants nearby, and very close to the airport, which was convenient since we arrived at different times. Easy, contactless check in and check out. The little neighborhood is cute and safe. Slept 5 people comfortably. Very clean with all the amenities you could need, including beach towels and an umbrella. Had a cute outdoor patio that we had drinks on at night with a grill!

Very convenient location and we enjoyed our stay. Craig was very responsive. Overall, the kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated the little extras like masks, disposable gloves, and cleaning wipes.

Walking distance to Riverwalk and Downtown

Nicely furnished property and very well supplied. Tea, coffee, shampoo ,lots of towels etc. Also provided are beach towels and beach chairs. TV and WiFi excellent, beds were comfortable. Craig was lovely, helpful and very responsive to any inquiries, great job Craig!

Ideal location, worked great for a family of four

We had a wonderful time in FLL. The weather was amazing, which hasn't always been the case when we've visited FL in the winter/early spring. The location worked well. We enjoyed walking to the Riverwalk area more than once and the beach was only about a 15-minute car ride away. The property was clean and well furnished. We appreciated the use of the beach towels. We didn’t notice the beach chairs until our final day, but we got along fine without them. An addition to the property to consider: small cooler (maybe there was one available -we didn’t look closely). We have two teenagers and had requested an air mattress so each would have their own bed. Craig made sure our request was fulfilled. He was responsive and willingly accepted feedback when it came to property improvements and/or considerations. Overall, we were very pleased with our accommodations.

Awesome!

I had some trouble with another property upon arrival to Fort Lauderdale and chose to relocate to this property. I was incredibly satisfied with everything from the welcome gifts to the info guide. Craig and Judy go out of their way to give you a great experience. Super quiet neighborhood with quick access to the local area and very easy to get around town from. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in the Fort Lauderdale area. Thank you Craig and Judy for everything. Keep up the great work!

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

Myself and two friends stayed here for MDW and had an awesome experience. Judy and Craig couldn’t have been more accommodating and were quick to respond to any questions we had. The place was clean/comfortable and within walking distance to some bars and restaurants. The beach and other hot spots were only a quick Lyft/ Uber away. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend their place for your stay in Ft. Lauderdale.

The perfect place
