Una cabaña de piedra encantadora pero espaciosa con una piscina privada (10x5m) y una terraza con magníficas vistas al mar y las montañas circundantes. Espectaculares puestas de sol, playas vírgenes, casi no hay turistas. Completamente climatizado. La isla de Evia es una de las más grandes del Mediterráneo, pero es prácticamente desconocida. Accesible todo el año desde el aeropuerto de Atenas (90 minutos en coche).

Beautiful villa in stunning area

We had a fabulous week at Villa Semele. The villa is beautiful, clean, spacious, well looked-after, well-equipped and we it was perfect for 5 of us. The information provided by the owner Ares was helpful. Loved the area, quiet, green, beach walking distance. Recommend highly!

Pure Erholung in wunderbarer Umgebung

Das Haus liegt traumhaft schön in der Natur mit einem unglaublichen Ausblick auf das Meer und die Olivenbäume der Umgebung. Für einen Sonnenuntergang-Schwimmausflug lohnt sich der Weg nach unten zum Kiesel-Strand. Ca 10-15 min, hoch ca 20 min. Das Haus hat einen ganz toll durchdachten, sehr sauberen P

Perfekter Rückzugsort für zwei

Das Haus ist wunderschön und fast alleinliegend, erreichbar über eine bei Erstkontakt abenteuerlich wirkende Schotterstrasse, die aber keine achsenbrechenden Schlaglöcher aufweist. Zu einem unbewirtschafteten Kiesstrand sind es tatsächlich nur 15 Minuten zu Fuss (nota bene: da stecken in paar Höhenmeter drin - der Rückweg ist etwas länger). Die Küche ist gross genug, um mit Spass an der Sache zu zweit dort Essen zuzubereiten, überragend gut ausgestattet bis hin zu Knoblauchpresse und Messerschärfer. Gleiches gilt für Handtücher, man kann bei Bedarf nachnehmen. Auch Pool-Handtücher werden einige gestellt (mit der Bitte, sie zum Ende des Urlaubs durchzuwaschen, was qua vorhandener Waschmaschine kein Problem ist). Wenn man dringend etwas bemängeln möchte, dann vielleicht den fehlenden Sonnenschirm am Pool - wir haben aber einfach die Liegen auf die riesige gedeckte Terrasse gestellt, wo auch der Esstisch steht; das war sehr gemütlich. Zu zweit hat es uns wirklich an nichts gemangelt. Da das Haus grundsätzlich für bis zu vier Personen ausgelegt ist (ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett, eines mit zwei Einzelbetten), können die drei vorhandenen Poolliegen bei Vollbelegung natürlich etwas knapp werden. Liegen-Auflagen gibt es nur eine; wir haben die zweite Liege mit Sesselauflagen bestückt - das ging prima. In der Umgebung selbst ist im September nicht viel los, aber genau das hatten wir gesucht. Fahrräder hatten wir dabei (Empfehlung: Mountainbike und Fitness bezüglich Steigungen).

Fantastic relaxing break

Had the most relaxing stay in this wonderful private villa. Highly recommend if you want peaceful surroundings and beautiful views. A car is essential if you want to visit tavernas in the surrounding area - but there is one in the local village which is about a 30 mins walk. If we had to comment on one small area for improvement it would be the seat pads and sun lounger cushions. We could only find 1 cushion for the lounger and the seat pads could do with updating as faded and a bit tatty but it's so very minor in the bigger scheme of things.

Une belle maison dans un calme absolu

Nous avons passé 3 semaines de rêve dans cette belle maison de pierre, au milieu des oliviers, avec une vue magnifique sur la mer. La piscine est parfaite. Ares est plein d'attention et d'une grande disponibilité. Il y a une plage de galets en bas du chemin, déserte, magnifique. Une taverne et une petite épicerie sont ouvertes très tard dans le village tout proche. Un grand merci à Ares

Traumhaus

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in diesem Traumhaus absolut genossen. Alles da, was man braucht. Direkter Kontakt zum Vermieter und seinen Leuten vor Ort top, sehr hilfsbereit. Jetzt die Gründe für teilweise nur 4 Sterne: Aufgrund Corona musste ja mit Desinfektionsmitteln geputzt werden, das führte dazu, dass die Beschichtung auf der Küchenarbeitsfläche sich löst und sich klebrig anfässt, was sehr unangenehm ist Die Sitzauflagen für die Terrassenstühle sind kaputt, schon mehrmals gestopft, sollten mal ausgetauscht werden Das Haus wird für 4 Leute angeboten, dann wären auch 4 intakte Liegen am Pool schön Aber wir konnten auch so die unschlagbaren Sonnenuntergänge und Sternenhimmel genießen und kommen gerne wieder

Tolles Haus in ruhiger Lage

Tolles Haus mit viel Platz und guter und reichhaltiger Ausstattung. Schnelle Kommunikation mit dem sehr freundlichen Vermieter. Im Winter Vorsicht, die Bäder sind nicht beheizt. Der Weg zum Strand ist steil (Auto mit Allrad Antrieb notwendig) oder zu Fuß. Der Strand ist leer und kieselig (Badeschuhe mitnehmen). Toller Pool und schöbe große Terrasse mit tollem Ausblick.

Erholung pur

Wir hatten eine wunderbare und erholsame Woche in der Villa Semele. Wer es wirklich ruhig mag, ist hier perfekt aufgehoben! Check-in und Check-out war sehr unkompliziert. Der Sonnenuntergang am Strand (zu Fuß ca. 15 Minuten, Rückweg etwas länger, per Auto 5 Minuten) ist ein absolutes Muss. Der Strand dort ist eher kieselig (am besten mit Badeschuhen), aber man ist fast alleine. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Es gibt Handtücher für den Pool. Die Sitzgelegenheiten draußen sind inzwischen etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Da wir eine sehr heiße Woche hatte, fehlte uns lediglich ein Sonnenschirm am Pool (und vielleicht ein kleiner Sonnenschirm für den Strand), so dass man auch hätte dort liegen können. Der Pool ist wirklich groß - unsere Kinder haben es geliebt. In den umliegenden Dörfern und an den Stränden gibt es viele Tavernen und kleine Supermärkte.

The most beautiful setting and jaw dropping views!

We had such a relaxing time at Villa Semele, so relaxing that we didn't stray too far from the villa for our entire stay. The views looked amazing online but really do take your breath away, and are a perfect back drop to the wonderful pool which was both large and deep enough to suit two older teens. The villa itself is simple but elegant and has everything you might need, all to a very high standard. It's an easy drive from the airport and although there are plenty of things to do (a car is a must) with only a week's stay we tended to stay poolside and then hit the beach late afternoon. The restaurant fare is quite simple but the village taverna in Nerotrivia was lovely and the staff attentive and friendly. We definitely plan to return and explore the region a little further, and would stay at the villa again in a heartbeat. Truly fabulous!

Amazing

It is truly an amazing house and the view is breathtaking, simply can’t get enough of it. Pool and all other facilities were very good. The island of Evia is so beautiful and without to many tourists. We will highly recommend this house and will definitely come back Br Mai Sørensen, Danmark

Holiday in Greece, great experience

Superb views. Villa is well equipped and has a great pool. Location is very quiet, but little difficult to find when first arriving. Owner responds very quick to questions asked. We had a great and relaxing time in middle of nature.

Weihnachten auf Evi

Wir kamen 2 Tage später an wegen Fährenstreik der Griechen, aber der Aufenthalt in der Villa hat alle Mühen wett gemacht. Das Haus hat eine perfekte Lage, Traumterrasse mit Meerblick. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet. Der Pool - den wir leider nicht nutzen konnten - ist wunderschön. Wir waren von Mitte Dezember bis Anfang Januar dort und haben sehr viel Zeit auf der Terrasse verbracht und die Ruhe genossen. Gemütliches Feuer am Abend angezündet und gekocht. Wettermäßig war alles dabei, Regen und Sturm, aber auch einige herrliche Sonnentage. Diese Unterkunft kann ich jedem wärmstens empfehlen und ich hoffe, wir können nochmal wiederkommen zu einer anderen Jahreszeit.

Das Stein haus war viel besser als aus den Bildern ersichtlich! Mittelalterlich rustikal ,aber wunderschön und perfekt verabeitet.Eine andere bequeme rustikale Couch, Matratzen der Betten super,der Pool und der Blick auf das Meer herrlich.10 min.zu fuss ist man allein am Meer mit kiesstrand.eine unbeschreibliche Ruhe auf einen Hügel gelegen unweit von kleinen grieschichen Dörfern und Tavernen. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht und ist perfekt ausgestattet.auch die Küche mit Geschirrspüler ist super ausgestattet,ein kamin,und heizöfen für kältere Tage sind vorhanden.der Vermieter fragt nach unseren befinden und ob wir etwas benötigen,sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder! Vielen Dank das wir in ihren haus entspannen durften!

Enchanting stone cottage with spectacular view

The stone cottage is like a "little castle" in the side of the mountain looking over the Aegean sea. The cottage was well equipped with a full kitchen, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, comfortable bedding, ample towels, and even romantic lanterns. Our favorite part was the patio with the view of the Aegean. Spectacular! The pool was a little too cold for us in late September, but the island of Evia had so much to offer. We enjoyed the views as we drove south to Karystos to explore the ancient ruin of Castello Rosso and north to the healing thermal springs in Edipsos. We enjoyed eating at the local restaurant, Bakoustis. It was a perfect setting to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary! We highly recommend Villa Semele.

Looking at the sea and listening to the silence

I can't add anything about the villa compared to what was written. It is wonderful, comfortable, built and decorated with a lot of refinement. The chairs on the terrace are a bit uncomfortable, but that doesn't matter much. The location and the view are wonderful, as is the tranquility and isolation. Some practical tips: Tap water is drinkable and very good, I guarantee personally; The nearby beach is not very accessible, given that on the way back the slope is in some places 15 degrees; After mid-September the pool water is cold, around 20-22 degrees Celsius, the nights being quite cold; The road from the road to the villa is a bit stressful with an ordinary car; The village tavern is recommended, good food that can be taken in a package, very friendly staff, reasonable prices; There are recyclable waste containers in the village, with a little effort the waste can be thrown there, even if it seems that there is not much emphasis on this on the island; A sandy beach that we really liked is in Nea Artaki at Restaurant Zefiros (20 minutes by car).
