This neighborhood is ideal for a holiday on Mediterranean Sea.

There are everything you may need within walking distance: wide beach with cafes and restaurants, nice park, TRAM and bus stations, supermarket, Arena sports club, golf club, close-by Alicante city center.

San Juan Playa is very nice area with good public transport:
15 minutes to go to Alicante center and also you can discover North Costa Blanca on TRAM (Benidorm, Denia, etc).

Nearby there are plenty of cafes and restaurants, big supermarket, sport club which opened during all year.

Brilliant appartment in a great location

The apartment is perfect for a couple and is modern and spotlessly clean. There is underground garage parking if you want to use it, although there are plenty of safe spaces on the public road beside the building to park. The gym is large with many pieces of fitness equipment. The pool is also nice, although we did not use it due to it being winter! We did try the paddle tennis, which Ana can book for you free of charge - it was great fun. Ana was a perfect host, and her directions and willingness to be flexible about arrival and departure times were first class. The apartment is about 10 minutes walk to the beach and also to a supermarket. There are also a number of smaller shops and bars close by. There are some building works in the area which gives some noise during the day but we did not find it a problem. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider a return visit.

Winter sun break

The apartment was lovely,clean and it had everything we needed. Ana was a great host and was available if needed. The pool area was lovely quite and relaxing. 10 Min walk to the beach and shops and bars.

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé 11 nuits dans cet appartement et nous en sommes très satisfaits. Résidence neuve securisée avec piscine, petite salle de fitness, parking souterrain, l'appartement est climatisé, linge de lit fourni avec serviettes de toilette, serviettes de plage, un parasol. Il est situé à 850 mètres d'un supermarché, environ 900 m de la plage de San Juan, un arrêt de tramway à 1 km pour se rendre au centre ville d'Alicante. Que demande le peuple.

Séjour reposant dans un magnifique appartement, vous serez émerveillés

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits dans ce magnifique appartement moderne, avec des équipements complets. La résidence est très calme, récente et sécurisée, idéale pour les familles. Equipée de 2 ascenseurs dont 1 permettant l'accès direct au niveau inférieur du parking. La plage la plus proche est à 10mn à pied, des petits commerces (boulangerie, épicerie, restaurant sont à 5mn à pied). Mon fils a adoré la piscine, et nous les transats, il y a un petit terrain de tennis, l'entretien du jardin et de la piscine se fait quotidiennement, propreté impeccable. Un parasol et 2 serviettes de plage sont mis gracieusement à votre disposition par notre hôte. Le sofa lit est très confortable, la décoration est de très bon goût. nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison, le wifi fonctionnait à merveille. Un grand merci à Ana d'avoir adapté les horaires d'arrivée et de départ, nous avons pu arriver 1h plus tôt, et quitter les lieux 2h plus tard le dernier jour en raison de notre vol tardif, Ana est d'une grande gentillesse.. Il manquait du papier toilette, elle est revenue très rapidement avec le nécessaire et une charmante attention : des capsules nespresso. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce séjour et vous le recommandons les yeux fermés. Nous y retournerons c'est certain. Merci pour tout Ana.

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location

I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the playa San Juan area. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area of San Juan around 900m from the beach and 700m from costa Blanca tram stop. Just along from the tram there is also a good size supermarket.The apartment itself is spotless clean , brand new and furnished lovely. The kitchen has everything you will need and the living area has dining table to fit 4. Nice double bedroom and family bathroom. The balcony is great for enjoying breakfast in the morning. The complex is very safe and secure. Each entry is electronicly locked including the gate to underground car park. The grounds and pool area are immaculate and are tended to by a Gardner once a week. The pool itself is always quiet the full 9 days we were there only once were other residents there. There is also a very well equipped gym with free weights, cable machines etc. all the full time residents we spoke to or met were really nice and helpful and there is certainly no them and us attitude. Ana comes to meet you and show you round the apartment and is on the end of the phone if you need her. She even allowed us to check out later as our flight was in the evening and her next guests weren’t arriving until the next afternoon. I thought this was a great touch. As I said the tram stop is only 700m away and runs into Alicante in 16 mins for €1.40. You can also visit loads of towns right up the coast with the tram and it’s really cheap so no need for a car. Like ourselves a lot of people come here to visit the IVF Spain clinic and it’s only 5 mins in car from here so ideal. We will definitely be returning to Ana’s apartment and have already recommended it to family.

Convenient, modern apartment

We stayed for a week in this new apartment in San Juan Playa. The location is good, with only a ten minute walk to the tram, some restaurants, the beach and the local supermarket. There are also some cafes within a five minute walk of the apartment - we had very good croissants from the 'Sweet Bakery'. The apartment is on the 4th floor of the block, but there are two lifts as well as stairs so access with luggage was not a problem. The apartment was brand new, so everything was very clean and tidy and it is very well equipped. Ana had provided nice touches including a bowl of fruit, washing tabs for the dishwasher and washing machine and basic toiletries in the bathroom. There were four of us staying in the apartment - our teenage daughters slept on the sofa bed in the lounge which was very easy to pull out each evening and was of a good size for sharing. Even with the bed extended the apartment did not feel too overcrowded, although we did put it away each day. There is a small balcony which catches the morning sun and overlooks the grounds and the swimming pool. We didn't use the pool - it was April and was probably cold! - but we did notice that it was well maintained and regularly cleaned. We often hire a car when we are on holiday, but on this occasion we decided to use the tram and although it is a ten minute walk to the tram stop, we did not find this a problem and went into the city most days exploring the city, visiting the Castell de la Santa Barbara, walking along the prom and round the Marina and also enjoyed trips out of the city to Villajoyosa, El Campello and Altea. We ate out most nights - either in Alicante itself (excellent Tapas in D'Tablas) or at Campo de Golf where there are a few restaurants - we enjoyed 'Simone' which is an Italian restaurant. We also used the kitchen in the apartment a couple of times and it had everything we needed including oven, microwave, full size fridge freezer, pans, crockery and cutlery and even spatulas, sieves and cheese grater which we don't always find in holiday apartments! The bathroom is a good size and the shower works well. The shower is fed from a hot water tank though, so you need to be aware that there isn't enough water for 4 people to shower at the same time (if 2 of them are teenagers!). We found it sufficient for us though and it was set to be on all day, so soon reheated if the hot water ran out. If we come back to this area, we would stay here again.
