Ocean View and Garden Oasis Suite

Welcome to our 800 sq ft suite that is situated next to a little oasis, with a small ocean view. The kitchen is fully equipped with many new appliances. Next to the bedroom is a gorgeous spa like bathroom with heated floors. Watch a movie or read a book beside the gas fireplace. Laundry room is spacious. We are located less than a kilometre from the hospital, 3 blocks to the seawalk and 5 min drive to the city centre. We are located very close to all of Campbell Rivers amenities.

Absolutely spectacular

Stayed here with my son over the May long weekend so he could attend a hockey camp. Unit is better than described and Josie is a spectacular host. Unit is tastefully decorated and very well equipped, we did not want for anything during our stay. Location is quiet but still close to amenities, walking distance to many, including the Sea walk. We only used the bed, but the hide-a-bed could suffice for kids to sleep on. If this unit is available, BOOK IT, you will not regret. Thanks for a wonderful stay Josie, hope we can find time and availability in your calendar to come back!

Perfect Home Away from Home

Property was perfect for our needs. It was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The landscaping was incredible and the views were also great. The extra touches and treats were appreciated and the hosts were very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic apartment-Hidden Gem

This apartment was perfect for my wife and I to use while we visited family in Campbell River. Everything you could want was supplied: snacks (popcorn, chips, chocolate bars), soup, full selection of pots and pans, even some frozen entrees! Topping it off was a king sized bed and an amazing large bathroom. One of the best things was the view from the terrace in the backyard. Absolutely stunning views of the water and Quadra Island. You can even see the ocean from the kitchen window while doing dishes. We would definitely stay here again!

Five Shining Stars!

This is the best place to stay on Vancouver Island! It's like staying at a 5-star hotel, only better. It has all the comforts of home, with a modern kitchen, modern furnishings, and a deluxe king-sized bed. It's centrally located, and close to everything Campbell River has to offer. We will definitely be back!

Hidden Gem in Campbell River

We absolutely loved our stay in Campbell River. The suite was immaculate...with modern amenities and furnishings, and all the comforts of home. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, providing lots of info for things to do in Campbell River. And the location was perfect, and close to everything. We will definitely return! Perfect home away from home

We stayed at Josie’s place for a full month and were perfectly happy with every aspect of the suite. From the peaceful patio oasis to the fully equipped kitchen, the giant super comfy bed to the beautiful glass shower, it had all the comforts of home and then some! Nice mountain views from the dining table, and even better views from outside, esp from the patio above the rock garden in backyard. The location was central to everything CR has to offer, and we enjoyed the quiet street and interesting neighbourhood walks each evening, when we often found a new book to read in one of the free mini libraries. Gorgeous views from everywhere in this part of town! The suite is spacious, modern and comfortable, and best of all super CLEAN! Josie and Lorne were some of the nicest hosts we’ve ever met - welcoming, friendly, quiet, helpful, generous… not enough space here to say how great they were. Already planning our next visit!

This rental could not have been more perfect. Great location and views. Super-comfortable king bed, very well stocked kitchen, spacious bathroom with tub and separate shower. Every inch spotless. Hosts are friendly and genuine. Would return in a heartbeat.

Best EVER VRBO!!!

This was the best VRBO we have stayed in yet. Lovely suite, great kitchen, amazingly comfortable bed, it’s like sleeping in a cloud. The bathroom is very nice and modern. Great bathtub. The kitchen is very well stocked and equipped. There is an amazing view point in the backyard where you can see the ocean. Just amazing. Josie and Lorne are lovely and so nice. We really appreciated everything they did. This place has everything and more. It felt like staying in a 5-Star hotel. We will definitely come back one day. GabiΦl

Fantastic getaway

We so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place! It was clean, attractive, and well-equipped with so many extras, which reflect the generosity of the hosts. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was spacious and stocked with lovely food and cooking and baking equipment, and the bathroom was also beautifully done. The two outdoor spaces were also a treat. Thank you to our lovely hosts who made us feel welcome. We would love to stay again.

OUTSTANDING!!

What a fabulous property! Loved this unit and didn’t want to leave. Spotless and incredibly well-stocked. In a quiet residential neighborhood. It’s obvious that the owners (who live upstairs) utilize the unit for friends and family. Everything you could need is there and of high quality. Not a sterile vacation rental and the photos don’t do it justice. Excellent and prompt communication. Definitely spoiled us, and hardly any of the rest of the places we stayed in BC were nearly as nice. Highly recommended and would return in a heartbeat.

Exploring Campbell River area

From start to finish our experience was fantastic. We stayed at Josie’s place for a month and had a great time exploring and hiking in the area. A great part of every day was getting home at the end of the day and unwinding in such a comfortable, clean, well-equipped place. Everything we needed to feel at home was there. The kitchen was completely outfitted. Shawna responded very quickly when the gas fireplace needed fixing and called in a repair person who got it back working right away. Campbell River was a really pleasant surprise and if we find ourselves with time again and a hankering for the island, we’d go back to Campbell River and most definitely stay at Josie’s VRBO. Thanks to you again Shawna, for your excellent care 👍

Has everything you could want and more!

Loved our stay at this charming suite. You will be amazed at how well stocked the kitchen is. There are all the usual pots and pans, two coffee machines, toaster oven, spices (oregano, paprika, garlic powder, basil, spice mix), olive oil, balsamic vinegar, butter, frozen foods, snacks, canned foods and soups. Basically a fully stocked kitchen! If you like to cook, please do yourself a favor and book this place asap! Shawna, the property manager was quick and responsive, but we really had no issues to speak of. The bathroom is really nice too! Thanks for letting us stay!

Awesome Suite

It was so nice after our long trip to come to this very roomy suite with so many necessities and extras in the fridge and kitchen cupboards; i.e. chicken soup, chocolates, jam, bottle of wine, butter, variety of coffees and teas, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, etc., I could go on!! From the moment we walked into the suite, we felt like we were at our home away from home! The attention to detail and colour coordination added to the warm cozy restful feeling you get as soon as you come through the door. Josie and her property manager - Shawna have totally out done themselves with this wonderful unit! I did not want to leave! With the unusual snow fall in January we thank Shawna for checking in with us periodically to see if we were ok and needed anything! I would not hesitate to recommend this awesome suite!

We are very familiar with the Campbell River area, so if you looking for the best beaches, hikes, exploring or fishing we can you direct you to some of our favourite spots.
