Best beach condo in Puerto Rico

Peter keeps a modern, tidy and very comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo on the 2nd floor of very complex in Rio Grande just steps from a pristine beach. Our family of four enjoyed a wonderful week over New Years swimming and boogie boarding in the ocean, relaxing at the beach with the beach chairs and boogie boards provided, swimming in the pool and cooking meals in the well appointed kitchen that had everything we needed. Having a kitchen stocked with new appliances, blender, toaster, and staples like olive oil, s&p and other spices, made cooking a breeze. Features like filtered water and a Brita for the refrigerator are the kind of extras that made staying at Peter's condo truly special.

Great location, quiet and clean

We loved our stay at the Azalea Condo. Such a great location and a quiet peaceful atmosphere. The private beach was such a gem! Definitely recommend to all.

What a gem!

This place was perfect for our stay in Puerto Rico. It was an easy drive from San Juan and close to everything. One traffic light from the Adventure Park, 10 minutes to Luquillo Beach, and an easy drive to El Yunque and Fajardo for bio bay and snorkeling excursions. The condo was clean and well stocked from coffee makers to beach chairs and boogie boards. The complex was quiet and well maintained. The beach felt practically private and the water is a beautiful turquoise blue. My kids enjoyed the pool too. Would definitely recommend this place.

Exactly what we needed!

This property fit everything we were looking for! A relaxing place to stay, close to the beach and also many activities, a pool for the kids, and a clean and spacious place to stay!! We would definitely stay here again! We had stayed in San Juan for 2 days then came here and It was the vacation we needed! Thank you for your hospitality.

Great stay

My family and I had a great time in PR! The condo has everything you need. The swimming pool tile needed a good scrub. The beach was beautiful and peaceful El Yunque state forest and hacienda Carabalí all near by. I would ask the owner to provide a utility cart I noticed a lot of people in the condominium had one. I found myself going back and forth trying to carry things to and from the beach. Overall we had a great stay. Thank you!

Exceeded expectations!

I highly recommend this property. It was clean, in a great location, and the beach was quiet so we felt like we had it to ourselves. Peter responds quickly to any questions and we appreciated the chairs and boogie boards for out time at the beach. Will definitely book this property again for our next Puerto Rico vacation.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay. The beach was nice and private. Great waves for boogie boarding. Super easy to get to the beach with the pool also right there. Loved walks on the beach and the ease of everything. The condo was well equipped and perfect for our family with two kids.

5 min walk to a very peaceful beach

We enjoyed our stay at this condo! 5 min walk to beach, which was a very quiet area & we had the beach to ourselves the 1st day. Even after the 1st day, there still wasn't hardly any people. Condo was well stocked with everything that you need for your stay. Host was very responsive & friendly. We had a great time for our 1st time in Puerto Rico! It rained all day on our last full day there, we went jetskiing which was fun but stayed inside the rest of the day. We will definitely be back!

Great for a family

Good location if you want to visit San Juan, beaches and the rain forest. In the middle of so much. About 35 minutes from San Juan. Condo was clean and had more than we needed for our stay.

Amazing!!!

This rental is a gem! We have stayed in many beautiful VRBO's and this one is truly the best. It is fresh and clean. The decor is gorgeous and the kitchen has everything you need. The location is perfect and the beach is stunning. My boys also loved the pool. It is close to everything, especially the El Yunque rain forest. Having the two bathrooms and the washer and dryer was so helpful. This rental is perfect for families vacationing in Puerto Rico. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful beach getaway

This was the perfect location for our family to stay while visiting Puerto Rico. The condo was exactly as described and we loved the quiet beach and pool. Everything was well-maintained and the owner kept the kitchen stocked with supplies for cooking and chairs for the beach. Communication with the owner was easy and efficient. Would definitely stay here again!

Rio Grande on the beach

Beautiful relaxing stay with direct beach access and pool. We had this gated complex mostly to ourselves, which we enjoyed. Best part was location, as it’s a good spot to use as a jumping off point for anything on the east end of Puerto Rico. Unit has plenty of space for a family of four or a few more, full kitchen, good ac, and laundry.

Amazing vacation!

Wonderful location. Everything is beautiful. Gated and safe, not that we ever felt unsafe anywhere we went in Puerto Rico. Beautiful beach, with views of the rainforest on opposite side of the beach. Condo had everything we needed to prepare meals of we so desired. Loved everything about it!!

Beautiful area and beach. Great place to stay!

The condo complex was quiet and we didn't have to fight for pool chairs! ( I would recommend the condo complex buy new chairs as you were lying on the support bars underneath due to the fabric being stretched) The beach is less than a 5 minute walk and is absolutely beautiful! The condo is very nice, stocked very well and has a great balcony. We liked the location-close to Fajardo and a short distance from San Juan. You do need a car if you stay here. We found a great little bakery just down the road and there are lots of good restaurants close by. I would highly recommend staying here both as a group of friends and for a family with children. We loved it!

Highly recommend!

We had a great stay and would recommend to anyone looking for avoid resort prices! We were traveling as a family of 4 with two young kids. The apartment allowed us to be way more comfortable than if we were in one hotel room. The pool was nice and the property was not crowded while we were there (February). The beach wasn’t that swimmable for young kids, but the proximity to Yunque, Luquillo beach, and San Juan made this a great location for us! We spend lots of time exploring the area. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
