Casa Del Mar 257 - La Costa is a 1/1 condo will a full front view of the Gulf of Mexico. This condo will accommodate as many as 4 adults and 2 children. The living area also has a new queen sleeper sofa, a coffee table that has a "lift top" which can be adjusted up for either a workstation or a place to enjoy snacks in front of the TV. The sliding glass door offers a full gulf view from the open concept living/kitchen area. The living area also has a small breakfast bar, and kitchenette with an apartment size refrigerator, small oven, and cooking/eating utensils for six. The primary bedroom has a queen bed. The primary bedroom is also attached to the bath with a tub/shower combination. The alcove area features two junior-size bunks for the children. This condominium is a perfect getaway for a week at the beach!

CASA DEL MAR CONDOS
Casa del Mar Galveston offers two swimming pools; one of the pools is heated during the winter months. Casa del Mar also offers a community grilling area, onsite coin-operated laundry on the first and third floors, vending and ice machines on the second floor and complimentary WiFi is available throughout the resort grounds.

Create your own adventures with beach gear and golf cart rentals, a sunset cruise or a bonfire and smores on the beach. Events, parties, or guests attending prom are prohibited at this home, as well as any type of large gathering with guests not listed on the reservation's Guest Registration or exceeding the maximum occupancy. These provisions are strictly enforced by Ryson Vacation Rentals, City Police, and GARM (Galveston Association of Rental Managers) security. If any questions, please contact Ryson.

This vacation home should accommodate up to 2 vehicles to be parked at the property. Parking at condos is determined by the space available at the property (typically a two-car maximum). Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards, or dunes. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.

Casa del Mar reservations require guests to pay a Parking/Registration Fee. The Parking/Registration Fee is for up to two vehicles, and the term is up to 30 days. Guests with reservations of 30+ days will need to purchase an additional permit after 30 days.
HOA fees (resort, parking, amenity, etc.) are to be paid directly to the HOA upon arrival via debit or credit card (cash will not be accepted).
Some Casa del Mar units have a bunk bed or bed in the hallway alcove area (24 by 72 inches), and are typically only recommended to accommodate children or small adults. Guests should review sleep arrangement options to determine if the setup would be comfortable for their group.
Resort amenities, including advertised elevators, require maintenance, and from time to time may be unavailable for guest use. Every effort will be made by Ryson to notify the respective HOA. However, please understand, Ryson has no control or authority in completing necessary repairs or routine maintenance. If elevator use is a requirement for any guests during your stay, please contact Ryson prior to booking, and we're happy to go over available options (alternate elevator available on-premises or locating a better limited mobility friendly access unit).

Elevator is available for adult guest use - helpful for those with limited mobility or to carry up luggage and groceries.

Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee a specific cable package, network, or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs. Oftentimes additional TVs are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices.

All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 21 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.

EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students, and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

Misleading description and unsanitary conditions
unfortunately our experience was not a good one. We only stayed one out of the five nights that we booked here. Upon our arrival, we found the unit to be unclean and unsanitary. Not only was there mold and dirt, there were also hairs and food from previous guests. I was not willing to have my family stay there any longer. The one night that we did stay, was uncomfortable and gross to say the least. Furthermore, the listing states that there is a king bed in the primary bedroom. This is simply not true. The room is barley big enough to fit the queen bed that was there. The bunk beds in the hallway were way too small for the teenagers that were on our trip and the pull out couch was like laying directly on springs. Had we been aware of all of the issues we walked into, we would not have booked this condo/unit. I was unable to get in touch with the host but did contact VRBO directly regarding our experience. I have them all of the details and sent photos of the unit and the issues that we had. VRBO was extremely helpful and are continuing to help me through this process.
