Our hideaway is only metres from restaurants, bars and cafe's yet tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac. Leave the car behind - six beaches within walking distance or take a dip in our solar heated plunge pool. Enjoy all that Norah Head has to offer, with coastal bush walks, protected lifeguard beaches while staying in your own modern bungalow. Visit the iconic Norah Head lighthouse, just a short walk away. Our house is situated at the back of the property in case you need anything. Great for couples, solo adventurers, or business travellers.

Lovely Hideaway Cottage

Quiet Lovely Cottage

This was the perfect cottage for a relaxing getaway from the hustle n bustle of city life.... The cottage was clean, cosy and had everything we needed. It is perfect for 2 people just wanting to recharge and do some local beach site seeing. Highly recommended. Thank you Jen & John.

Lovely stay, again

A nice, quiet and private location. An easy walk to the beach, shops, cafe and wonderful restaurants. We’ll probably be back again for next years Lighthouse Festival

Perfect getaway

Such a lovely property with all the essentials provided for an amazing holiday. The pool so beautiful and warm and the Norah heads area and rock pools were spectacular. Will definitely be coming back!

Winter stay at Norah Head

We had a wonderful time enjoying the various walks along the coast and to the lighthouse. The property was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the surprise breakfast package. Will look to come back and have recommended to friends.

Norah Head Cottage

The hosts John and Jenny were fantastic from the moment we arrived. Very welcoming and also providing local information which allowed us to visit some very pleasant spots during our stay. They also offered many little extras which made us feel welcome. Would highly recommend this little gem.

Quiet peaceful setting close to beach and walking tracks. Well designed layout and equipped for self catering. Certainly high standard compared to others we've stayed in. Lovely garden outlook. Clean and comfortable.

We had a really lovely two nights without our kids staying in this quaint little cottage. The layout and amenities, cleanliness, privacy and overall feel of the place was spot on. The local beach was perfect for swimming with gentle rolling waves, and the beach walks were absolutely perfect for unwinding. We stayed local one night and went to the Entrance another night for dinner, but enjoyed both local cafes in walking distance for breakfast, and indulged in the local patisserie pies for lunch. Some thoughts to make the stay a 10/10 - a mattress upgrade (bed was ok but did sink in the middle noticeably) and perhaps some clear timings for use around the shared pool. On arrival we went to change and jump in the pool, but was beat to the post by the host family. As guests we would find it a little less awkward if there was clear host vs guest time allocations, or pre-communicated timings to use the pool without feeling like we were impeding others use! Overall we highly recommend this cottage and would stay again.

Weekend retreat

Arrived at Norah Head, found the property easily, and within 5minutes we were enjoying the peace and quiet. Restaurants and cafes down the road were great and the house was clean, modern and had everything you needed. Thankyou

A little piece of paradise.

A beautiful cottage, peaceful and quiet and relaxing. Everything is high quality and Jenny and John are there if you need anything. So close to beaches, the lighthouse, cafes and restaurants and easy walking to everything. I would definitely go back again. Pamela

Lovely, private location with all the comforts and convenience of home.

Beautiful location! Good value for money. Easy process for booking. Good communication. Accurate description- actually better than we expected! Beautiful linen. Fresh, home grown eggs and herbs were a lovely touch.
