It is a 6/7hour drive from Calais/tunnel, and 5/6 from Caen, le Havre, st Malo or Cherbourg , Brittany ferries or p&o.There is lots of activities nearby, kayaking horse riding, vallee de singes, Futuroscope, and the stunning La Rochelle on the coast is only a 90 minute drive, we can advise you on what to see and do, golf cognac tasting etc. The area is very flat and is ideal for cycling and walking, you can rent bikes on line and have them delivered to the property, we can give you more information on this if required

Please note we do have occasional noise from TGV high speed trains they pass in seconds, do not let this deter you from booking this stunning property, as the trains do not run through the night, if you are unsure look at our reviews nobody mentions the train noise !!
