Herää täällä! Rauhallisella Adirondacks-alueella upealla järvinäköalalla.

Suuri neljän vuodenajan järven talo kauniilla Fulton Chain Lakes.

Vain 5 minuutin päässä viehättävästä Old Forgen kaupungista, jossa on niin paljon hienoja ulkoiluaktiviteetteja; vaellus, melonta, veneily, uinti, maastopyöräily ja talvella pääsy yli 1000 mailia hoidettuja moottorikelkkareittejä. Myös vain muutaman minuutin päässä hiihtämästä McCauley Mt ja hieman yli tunnin päässä Gore Mountain. Nauti kaikesta, mitä Adirondacks tarjoaa.

Tila on täydellinen suurelle perheelle tai monikertaperheille, jotka haluavat päästä pois viikolle. Toisessa kerroksessa on kolme makuuhuonetta ja yksi kylpyhuone. Kahdessa makuuhuoneessa on upea näköala järvelle. Asumistila on valtava ja kaunis kivitakka. Ensimmäisessä kerroksessa on keittiö, toinen kylpyhuone, ruokasali ja kaksi makuuhuonetta. Ensimmäisen kerroksen ulkopuolella on valtava kivipatio, josta on viehättävät näkymät järven rannalle, grilli ja takka. Istu alas, rentoudu ja nauti kaikki ateriat ulkona terassilla nauttien näkymistä järven rannalla. Kellari on valmis, ja meillä on mukava mukaasi tuoda oma ilmapatjasi mahdollisen ylivuodon vuoksi. Kellarissa on mukava baari ja se on loistava paikka laittaa kaikki talvi- tai kesävarusteesi.

Järven edessä on myös telakka-alue, jossa on paloaukko omaan käyttöösi. Kun olet kohti yksityistä rantaa ja vettä, telakka-alue on oikealla puolella. Kuvia toimitetaan sisäänkirjautumisen yhteydessä. Meillä on venetelakkatiloja vuokrattu kaudeksi, joten sinulla ei ole pääsyä laituritilaan. Voit kuitenkin pysäköidä veneesi Hollywood Hills -rannalle tai lampille. Se on ensin tullutta palvella ensin niillä alueilla.

Perfect Family House

We loved the house, there was enough room for everyone, it was clean and communication was great! Being able to fish and use the beach was by far the best for our family. The driveway needs some work but that is minor, thank you we will be back!!

spacious cozy camp

great location, nice little beach access and a great patio with fire pit. the property needs a couple of minor repairs (the fan in the downstairs bath needs hooking up or replacing, and some window screens are missing on the porch)

Great location

We really enjoyed all the outdoor spaces to sit and have a water view! Loved the fire pit area and all the seating along with the screened covered area when weather was not as good! Lots of bedrooms and ample kitchen area to prepare our meals. Having the grill under cover too was a great feature. Kids loved fishing at the dock where there were many fish to be caught! Thanks for a great time and stay in the Old Forge area! Deb and family

5 days of cabin fun on first lake

We stayed in the cabin for 5 days in July and we couldn't have been happier. It fit our three families great and the firepit area and screened in porch were awesome for relaxing and soaking in the view after a day on the lake.. Thanks.

Everything was awesome! Cosmina thought of everything you would need plus some. We loved sitting on the covered porch looking at the gorgeous lake view. Also spent a lot of time around the fire. Loved the rocking chairs!

Home away from home

We stayed for the week, weather was great, home was big and plenty of room. We had 6 adults and 4 children, home accommodated everyone. Easy check in and out and good communication with hosts. Kitchen was stocked with essentials and bathrooms and bedrooms were clean. Outside fire pit was used nightly. The screened in porch was great for the little ones. Private beach was a short walk and kids enjoyed their time there. Great place to stay, would recommend!

Not all as it seemed

First, the amenities of AC was only window units in the upstairs-nothing for main floor & 2 bedrooms. Basement twin bed was unusable by me with asthma & allergies as dehumidifier wasn't turned on & was covered in black mold. Second, I received a text about 2 hours out that the owner was cleaning the house (not covid-trained cleaning person)? The post says that 3 days pass between renters but she was hurrying to get it cleaned before the next renters arrived in 4 hours. So the cleaning fee went to the owner. She stated that the trash wasn't emptied (I just left the dump & Recycling Center for the 5th time that week because she said there was no trash pickup in Old Forge)! Because of the fear of bears entering the house, I took the trash to the dump almost every day. We had been told by others that bears can get in through windows & can get into cars if food/trash are left out. She stated that the dishes weren't done but the kitchen was immaculate and dishes were being washed in dishwasher (there were no directions otherwise). She stated that none of the laundry was in the laundry baskets (I personally put all sheets in the laundry baskets & started a load to help the "cleaning crew". Yes, my children were in the upstairs bathroom before I left & she sent a photo showing they had left their towels, washcloths & drinking water (as we were warned not to drink the tap water by owner) in the bathroom. I bought tissues for each bathroom & water got under one & left a stain. She said she consulted cleaning experts & they didn't know how to get it out. We've all had this happen & Magic Eraser takes it out. She couldn't get one because new renters were arriving. On Tuesday after we left (3 days later), I was notified by the travel insurance co that she was receiving a check for $1000 to totally replace the bathroom vanity. I found the exact same one she had installed for $230. at Lowes. VRBO ad said sleeps14 but she stated that only 12 were allowed. I've NEVER received upsetting news like this. We've always been welcomed back to wherever we rent, but our dates didn't match availability.

Annual Girls Weekend

We had a wonderful time and the house was great. The only complain we had from everyone is that there was not an outlet in the upstairs bathroom. Other than that it was a great location and perfect view of the lake.

Great weekend with College friends from the 70’s!! We get together every year for kayaking

This place was perfect, we could put our kayaks in at the private beach that we could use, right across from the cabin! The cabin had all the room that we needed!

Old Forge Marathon Runners 🏃‍♂️

The house met our every need. Far enough from the village but close enough to explore and get to our start / finish line in a timely manner. The view from the deck was amazing. The beach was enjoyable and convenient. The house is well decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Already planning to rent this house again next year.

Excellent location, very nice facility

Centrally located, easy to get to hiking areas or Inlet on one side, and Old Forge on the other. Between the outdoor fire pit and the screened in porch evening conversations were great. Private beach for the kid’s swimming. Owners are making improvements and planning future improvements so any more detail from me may be meaningless. Actually planning a return with just my wife and me for a “quiet weekend”. That fact should be enough of a recommendation.

Perfect home for 2 young families

This was our second year staying here and it was even better than the first! Our 2 families were able to spread out and sleep comfortably on all new mattresses. The house was clean and equipped with literally everything we needed for our stay. We spent so much of our time out on the large patio overlooking the lake. The HOA beach was perfect for our kids and very convenient for us. The kids swam, played in the sand or fished off of the dock every single day. I can't say enough good things about this house. Cosmina was a perfect host - available to answer questions almost immediately! We can't wait to return next year!

Perfect location

We have been spending a week in Old Forge for the past four years. From the initial communication, to the location, thoughtful gift upon arrival and the home itself...this house and the owners have become a family favorite. We loved the fireplace and quick access to the beach. The board games were such a hit with the kids and the basketball game supplied a lot of fun. So happy we found this gem, we are already booking for next year !!!

Awesome weekend at an awesome home

This house was everything we could have wanted for an amazing weekend with my sisters in old forge. It is so very spacious and clean and the brand new beds were so very comfortable. We wish we could have stayed longer. The outdoor fire pit area is so nice and the screened in porch has a beautiful view of the lake too! We hope to come back and stay here again soon!

Beautiful Location

We absolutely loved the location of the home. The views of the lake were beautiful. The house was in great condition! I agree with another reviewer that the bedrooms were on the small side but we didn't spend much time at the house so that wasn't an issue. We thought it was a little strange that the upstairs bathroom had no electrical outlets. We ran an extension cord from the bedroom to the bathroom to have power in the bathroom for hair tools (straightener/curler). Both Cosmina and Lance were very responsive when we had a slight hiccup when we arrived. They made sure everything was perfect! On the last day of our trip we hiked Bald Mountain. When we got to the top of the mountain, my boyfriend of 7 years proposed to me and I said YES! We will always remember this trip and this home will always have a place in our hearts! Thank you!!
