A quiet retreat on 2.5 acres of woodland, this is the perfect getaway for people that love nature, privacy and serene beauty with distant views of the foothills. It’s the perfect location close to hiking, the bear and American rivers, and Rollins Lake. If you enjoy skiing, it’s a short 40-minute drive to the slopes. At 2,500 ft we are below the snow line in the foothills. The sweet train-stop town of Colfax is a 5-minute drive, and you are also close to Auburn, grass valley and other bigger towns all with great restaurants and local shopping. This custom-built home is made for a great vacation with an open living/kitchen plan on the top floor with a large deck and plenty of uncluttered space. The primary bedroom has a king bed with its own bathroom with walk-in custom tiled shower. There is a small desk area for writing or remote work. The downstairs has a comfy living area and 3 bedrooms along with a full bathroom with tub/shower. The laundry room is also downstairs. This is a great house for families and friends to gather!
