This Chalet in the woods features 3 bedrooms. The living room has a fireplace, TV, couch, love seat and recliner. The kitchen features a large island and table. Two full bathrooms one on each floor and full size washer/dryer. Expansive deck and firepit. 25min to Caberfae, 30min to Crystal Mountain. Ride directly to snowmobile trails. Space for trailers. Close to Skiing, Mtn Biking, Road Cycling to Traverse (Mission P.), Hiking, Snowmobiling, Canoeing/Kayaking and ATV/UTV.

*This is a pet friendly stay. The first pet is 45 dollars for your entire stay. Each additional pet is 45 dollars for the entire stay.

Great challet

Very clean challet, perfect size for our family of four and dog! We enjoyed the location - only about 15 mins from Cadillac and 25 mins from Caberfae. There were also plenty of games to keep the children entertained. The kitchen was equipped with everything you might need. If you are renting the challet after the snow melts or heavy rain, I would recommend a 4WD or a vehicle that sits up higher to get up the driveway. There are some ruts that are getting deeper and a lower sitting vehicle could get stuck in the mud.

Perfect getaway

This property was exactly as described. More than adequately equipped, decorated warmly and felt likehome the moment we entered. Excellent location forour family to enjoy the nearby Carberfae ski slopes.Excellent trip!

Chalet stay

The property was amazing! The accommodations such as pet supplies and the kitchen being somewhat stocked. Very quiet and peaceful getaway spot. Everything was exceptional and couldn’t ask for a better experience!

Jim saved my dads birthday/family’s Christmas ski trip

ReviewThis place was amazing, and the host, Jim, was the best host I’ve ever had. My family and I were planning to celebrate my dad’s birthday and Christmas with a ski trip to Cadillac. We were about to cancel the trip when the weather forecast changed to 40 degrees and rainy. Jim was super helpful and quickly helped us work out a solution, changing the date and check-in time to work around the nasty weather. The house was incredibly comfortable and clean. 10/10 would recommend!

Definitely one of the best place that I’ve ever rented

My family enjoyed such a wonderful time. The chalet was absolutely exactly what the picture showed. The homeowner was awesome to deal with answered all the questions and I do highly recommend the chalet to anyone. It is absolutely beautiful. Definitelywould stay again..

Great for Summer or Winter!

Lots of room to play in! Great for trailers and toys. Hoping we will have snow this winter to stay again. Highly recommend. Has everything you need and more!

Great communication & very clean getaway

Nice to enjoy nature at this very clean place in Cadillac. Very impressed with how well the owner is communicating all the details you’ll need to know in advance. Highly recommend staying here! Close to some great restaurants too! 13th Street Market & Restaurant was so good for dinner, we went back for breakfast. Both were great!

Nice secluded get away

Owner is very responsive to any questions. House is very secluded. Quite, lots of wild life, trails and only about 15 minutes for anything you may want or need! This was the perfect get away for my family including 3 children under 5 years of age. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Michigan!

Home away from home

We were looking for a house that was big enough to fit our family of 5, We were traveling with kids so we needed a lot of Space for them to run wild.. lol…This house was Perfect. They provided all the essentials and then some.. We did a lot of our own cooking, and it was nice to have everything we needed from spices, to all the cookware, paper products as well as the little appliences( waffle, toaster, crockpot, coffee machine..etc). The laundry room was also nice, since We spent most of our week outside, we had a lot of dirty little kids who needed their clothes washed..If we did need anything it was a quick text/ call and the Host responded within a reasonable amount of time. We had fun exploring the many trails behind the house, Cooking out, Nightly campfires using the fire pit to make s’mores,We also brought our dirtbike to ride around the property.. it was that big, lots of land!! We plan on coming back in the future..

Absolutely Amazing!

Great location and beautiful area. The property was everything and more than the pictures promised. Extremely clean, easy to use the space the set up was the best we've ever seen! Was pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the house was and the accessibility of the property. Can't wait to use the property for our next trip!!

Cozy Cabin Stay

The cabin was the perfect spot for our family to rest for the night between days of skiing. The fireplace was an especially nice feature. The beds were comfortable, the cabin was very clean, and well stocked with amenities, like a washer and dryer (the later we used to dry our wet snow clothes). Communication with the owners was easy. We would definitely stay again.

Yearly getaway

This is our third year staying at the chalet, and, as always, it was a great experience. The house is clean and very comfortable, and the host always makes us feel welcome. The expansive property is a great amenity. A perfect base camp to explore the surrounding public lands!

Great place to stay

Very nice place to stay. It worked well with our family each have their own bedroom and the extra bath. Beautiful location and was located so we could see all the beautiful locations and Lake Michigan.
