Lovely Weekend Getaway

We were in the area for a competition and stayed for the weekend. Quiet area directly on the lake. Our family of 7 had plenty of room. We enjoyed the game room and the homes amenities. Very relaxing!

Pre Christmas R and R

When I am planning a weekend getaway, I always look for places on a lake or is secluded woods. This property fit all of my criteria. We did a four town Christmas trip with our final stop in Dahlonega for all of the festivities there. Afterwards, we came back to the house and hung out in the peace and tranquility the house was blessed with. Although there were lots of things we could have done at the house, we took advantage of catching up with family and relaxing. Thanks Karla for allowing us into your home for the weekend...

Excellent stay

An excellent property to spend a few days with the family, comfortable, all the utensils in good condition, a very complete play area, we are happy to have rented this beautiful house on the river bank

Comfortable Family House

The two levels of the house offered the privacy our two families needed. It was very clean, spacious, and well stocked. We especially enjoyed sitting on top of the boat dock. I haven't been to any Georgia lakes before so didn't expect the water to be quite so muddy but enjoyed the use of the canoes.

Lake Lanier

House was very roomy. Lots of room inside and child friendly. Outside not great for small children. It was very steep down to water.

Just perfect

This property was great for our family needs. We were able to make and serve Thanksgiving for my parents, my sisters and our teenage kids. Karla made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely rent again!!

Perfectly peaceful

The peace and quiet is just what the doctor ordered. What an amazing getaway! The home is clean, spacious, and beautiful. The cove is a perfect place to unwind. The host was always available and accommodating. The community is friendly and child friendly. We had a wonderful stay. Thanks so much!

Was a great stay at Karla’s house on Lake Lanier. North part of Lanier has shallow water but was a very quiet, well-kept house

Great getaway

Wonderful long weekend filled with canoeing, hiking and reading a book on the porch. The host was very responsive to questions throughout the rental process. The home provides comfortable furnishings, plenty of room and so many family activities.

Christmas family visit

We wanted a vacation feel while visiting family in the area- our stay was perfectl Peaceful, lots of levels, decks, room for games and puzzles, book reading, movie night, fire pit, lake sunset, stars. We were able to head into Mall of Georgia for last minute shopping & treats. Would definitely consider coming back in summer to use the lake!

Fun with Teens

What a great experience! We had to bump our reservation by a day due to work and our host was super gracious about the change. The house is perfect for a group of teens to hang in the lower level while adults chill upstairs. The walk down to the water is steep but def worth it! My cup of coffee on the upper deck of the dock was the peacefulness I needed to start my day! I would definitely recommend!

Perfect lakeside retreat

Home was better than expected! Perfect size for 2 adults and teenage children. Kids gravitated to lower level. Video gaming, game room, bedrooms, and their own bathroom. Adults were upstairs, watching TV, reading, and making meals. Kitchen and dining room was convenient for serve yourself meals. Well stocked and plenty of seating. We brought our own kayaks and felt very safe paddling around the cove and lake, with minimal boat traffic. Saw turtles and egrets. Host responded quickly to my questions. Highly recommend staying at Hideaway Cove.

Comfortable Lake House

My family and I liked this lake house, for the most part. It was comfortable and had enough room for everyone to sleep. The host, Karla, welcomed our suggestions to make it even more comfortable for the next guests. There was no Keurig coffee machine as the pictures show, but the Ninja coffee machine worked just fine. There were a lot of steps to get to the dock. Fortunately for me, there was a porch swing about half way up to take a breather. The game room, unfortunately smelled moldy, so I feared for our health and we didn't use it as much as we wanted. There were a lot of spiders and webs at the dock, so we were unable to get to the second level. I recommend bringing extra towels if you don't want to wash them every day. Also, I recommend bringing laundry detergent. There were enough towels for one day, for 7 people. The cove and the neighborhood was very quiet. We brought a lot of water sports/gear and the owners also provide two canoes for the guests to use. Thanks to the lake house owners and by God's grace, we made good memories.
