Grand 3 BR Condo, une vue incroyable, les familles, 5 min à pied de la plage spectaculaire

Golden Reef Condominium est situé à côté de Punta Leona Hôtel & Club, une réserve de 750 acres dans une forêt tropicale abritant des iguanes, des aras écarlates, des toucans, des singes à face blanche, des singes araignées, des paresseux, des coatis et plus encore. A seulement une heure et demie de route, ce est la plage la plus proche de la capitale du Costa Rica, San José. La base idéale pour tout nombre de visites dans la région. Plus particulièrement, Punta Leona est le foyer de Playa Blanca, une plage de sable blanc qui a, année après année a remporté le très recherché Eco Pavillon Bleu (Bandera Azúl Ecológica) avec une cote de 5 sur 5 étoiles - l'un des seuls deux plages dans tous Costa Rica d'engranger cette note. Et ce est un 5 minutes à pied de la copropriété!

Le condo a tout le confort d'une maison moderne avec des appareils en acier inoxydable, des comptoirs en granit, laveuse / sécheuse, climatisation centrale, télévision par câble, WiFi gratuit et une très grande terrasse. Comme notre condo est situé au 4ème étage de l'immeuble, vous pourrez profiter d'une vue panoramique incroyable sur l'océan Pacifique, la roche emblématique de La Leona, Playa Blanca, ainsi que le vol d'aras écarlates, des pélicans, et de nombreux autres animaux sauvages. L'unité dispose de deux places de parking privées situées dans le complexe Golden Reef. Familles avec enfants vont adorer la piscine avec toboggan. Jouets de plage sont également fournis dans l'unité.

Dans les villes voisines de Quebrada Ganado, Jacó et Herradura, vous trouverez une variété de magasins d’épicerie et de souvenirs ainsi que de nombreux restaurants. Le Marriott Los Sueños se trouve également à proximité et compte plusieurs restaurants. En ville, il y a aussi de nombreux endroits pour réserver canopée, l'équitation et des excursions de pêche en mer profonde.

Beautiful property with beautiful views

The condo is immaculate with breathtaking views. Walk to the beach takes 5 minutes. The owner was very responsive and shared lots of useful information prior our arrival. We had great time and hope to be back.

Great stay. Attentive host. A very nice place sitting on a hillside overlooking the ocean and beautiful Playa Blanca beach at the foot of the hill. Enjoyed hanging out at the large terrace and taking in the amazing view. Saw a good number of scarlet macaws and flocks of pelicans. Down at the beach saw a troop of capuchin monkeys. Would go back in a minute.

Amazing view

If what you are looking for is a beautiful view, this is your place. The only way to get to the beach is walking and the up hill walk is very very hard, definitely not for seniors. Also is better to take with you all your groceries to cook your own meal due to getting in and out of the property its about 25 minutos and more if they send you by the public entrance, witch happens to us upon arrival. The security guard on site, Jimy, was very helpful and friendly. The apartment needs some minor refurbishment, specially with the kitchen utensils ( some are missing and the existing ones needs to be replaced) and the bathroom faucets. For the price paid I will expect good hot water with nice shower heads, ( in one of the bathrooms there was no hot water at all, and some at the other two), also it will be nice to have good kitchen knives, serving spoons, table placemats etc due to its necessary to cook on site. The kitchen appliances are very good quality.

Incredible views. Lovely place. Only downside is it’s a little bit of a hike to the beach and the dirt road to get to the condo take about 20 minutes

Beautiful property, with an amazing view. The beach was fantastic and great for our young kids. The kids enjoyed snorkeling and looking for critters in the tide pools.

Breath taking views

The property was everything as described! Gorgeous view, scarlet macaws, iguanas and monkeys. The condo was very clean and welcoming!

A Gem of a host!!!!

The communication between us and our host was 10 star. I have never had such special, friendly communication in any other VRBO rental and i have rented many. Thank you Herve for all of the extra info you gave us about the area. The condominium was immaculate with everything one needs to cook, etc.. The location of the condo overlooking the beach and Pacific was par excelance. Sunsets were amazing. The ice cream place within the grounds of the Golden Reef was super and the restaurant was good and low key. We rented golf carts to go to the beach since we needed them for certain issues we have. I actually snorkled just off the beach and saw yellow tailed fish. I am sure you could see more if you went out further. I was alone so didn’t trust myself to go too far out. The entire week was so beautiful and peaceful. We now don't want to leave but Adios Golden Reef. Betty

Stunning Views and a Clean Beautiful Condo

My family and I (daughter, son-in-law, two children) stayed here for several days and it was lovely. There aren't enough adjectives to describe the views from the very spacious balconies, which contained lots of seating options, a table and chairs for dining, and a hammock. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed in terms of dishes, towels, soaps, etc. It is also very spacious and really comfortable. The pool area (and pool slide!) was greatly appreciated by the kids. Communications with the property manager were promptly answered and instructions were very clear on the arrival process (several guard stations to pass through, which makes the property extremely secure). The only small issue we found (when we arrived one toilet would not) was resolved quickly. Highly recommend this property for a peaceful getaway!! PS La Ostra Negra is a WONDERFUL restaurant right near the first entry into the property.

Spacious condo with a spectacular view

My family of 6 really enjoyed this property. The condo was very clean and is spacious. Having 3 bathrooms was a huge plus. The view is terrific and we loved sipping coffee in the morning on the large patio while listening to the sound of the waves and keeping our eyes out for the scarlet macaws. We did the CostaCat tour to Isla Tortuga our first full day which was fun, but we enjoyed the snorkeling even more at the beach near the home, where we saw a large variety of fish and a couple sea turtles. The kids loved playing in the pool at the complex which had a slide that’s even fun for teens and adults. We spent one afternoon exploring the shops of Jaco, and enjoyed a delicious seafood dinner at Amara restaurant. We felt very safe at this property as you have to pass several guard stations to get to the home. The only things we did not particularly enjoy were the bumpy dirt road you travel for about 10 minutes on the way to the home (and every time you want to head back out to the highway and the short but steep hike from the beach to the home. Next time we will propose consider renting a golf cart to facilitate transportation to the beach. We also wish there were a few more dining and shopping options closer (in order to avoid the bumpy dirt road). Overall, we had a splendid stay and we appreciated the wonderful stay and look forward to returning.

Enjoyed a couple days relaxing in the sun and reading. This was the portion of our journey where we did not tour much but just relaxed. Recommend location for such a goal!

Beautiful view, amazing balcony

The place was lovely. Like most other locations in CR, driving to the condo can be a bit hairy if you're not ready for it - very tight. The only issue we had was the power went out for a little bit one evening, but the owner was working on it immediately as was the condominium staff. Very responsive. Be sure to confirm with the host which beds you intend to use so that there's no confusion about bedding. Highly recommend.
