Friends trip

Justine was great to communicate with and was very tentative to our needs. Everything was laid out in a book that she provided for ease of use of anything within the apartment. The steps were a bit much as there are 119 steps up there is someone available to take your luggage for a small fee. One bedroom and bathroom is detached from the apartment so just be aware of that.

Loved it!

We were a family group of 6 adults and this was perfect for us! So eclectic and comfortable with a view of the Eiffel Tower! We truly enjoyed our time there. Just a warning the stairs were no joke! Janine had a man come and haul our luggage up for us for a small price. Close to eating, shopping and subway, this was a great place for us and if we ever go back to Paris we would love to stay there again!

Fantastic Parisian experience!

What a quirky and interesting place to stay! Lots of stairs - very doable, but definitely not something you want to do multiple times a day! The 4th bedroom is definitely more of a nook and suited our needs, but if you're taller than 5'2, you might be uncomfortable. The balcony was such a bonus and well used, even with the rainy weather during our stay. Justine was fantastic to communicating with; and the location cannot be beat!

Paris stay

This apartment is in a great area with easy access to the métra. There is so much to do that is easily walkable. The view was amazing and the balcony is gorgeous. The stairs are a bit steep but very doable and Justine will recommend a guy to carry luggage up and down if you need it. I would go back here if I ever return to Paris.

Wir haben uns( sieben Freundinnen)eine Wohnung mit vier Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern ausgesucht.leider war das zweite „Badezimmer „bestehend aus einer Toilette mit Vorhang abgetrennt und einer minidusche mit inkludiertem Waschbecken nur über den Balkon zu erreichen und war von einem der Zimmer nicht abgetrennt .die Lage ist perfekt .bestechend ist die Terrasse-die wir leider wetterbedingt nicht nutzen konnten die Betten sind verbesserungsbedürftig zusammenfassend ist zu sagen , dass die Wohnung für sieben Einzel Personen nicht geeignet dafür war der Preis zu hoch

Lovely Paris Flat

Reasonably comfy for 6 adults. The 2 upstairs ‘bedrooms’ are tight with mattresses on floor. Location was very good with nearby access to Metro. Rooftop garden w/ Eiffel Tower view is a nice feature. You will get your exercise, as it is at the top of 7 flights of stairs (no lift). Kitchen was well appointed. Owner has many books & knick knacks (bibelots) adorning the many shelves through the unit, which does give it a little of a cluttered feel & breakage was a concern, but would definitely consider a return stay in the future - thank you!

Perfect spot to explore Paris

We spent 3 nights here and it was exactly what we were looking for. The apartment accommodated 5 of us and was a great base for exploring but also a great base to hang out at at the end of the night The stairs were no trouble at all for us and worth the “workout” because the neighborhood was active and vibrant. I would stay here again and will recommend for anyone who wants to come to Paris and experience a great neighborhood

Paris charm

Our family of 4 loved our stay here. The location is excellent as we were able to walk to so many great sites, Sacré Coeur, Île de la Cité, the Louvre, and just up the road from Les Halles. Having 3 bedrooms was very important for us since we have a teenage do and daughter and they needed their own space and this apartment met our needs. Justine was so responsive and accommodating of our needs. Check in is personal and she checked in with us to see if we needed anything during our stay. I must say that it took some getting used some low ceiling areas because I’m 6’4” and I bumped my head a couple times the first couple days but I got used to it and it would not deter us from staying here again. The roof top balcony was amazing and you do have a view of the Eiffel Tower from it. One of our favorite thing to do each night was to play games at the table while drinking some great French wines. We highly recommend staying here.

Justine is a wonderful property manager. She checked us in personally. Apartment has two bedrooms, family room and kitchen w full bath on main level. Loft has a bed and another bed in room off terrace. Small 2nd bath off that bedroom. Justine brought extra portable AC unit for us. Apartment has 3 of these units now (apparently a 4th unit is coming). The terrace has view of Eiffel Tower! Many suggestions for restaurants and grocery stores. Location is pretty good: 0.9 mile walk to Louve. Only drawback is about 120 steps to apartment and no elevator. A bit tough with bags. Overall wonderful experience!

Perfect in all ways

Our stay was incredible. Justine is a gracious host and her home is light-filled, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed for a great stay. The location is within walking distance of nearly everything and the immediate neighborhood has a great mix of shops, restaurants, and food stores. The apartment layout was great for our group, with the upstairs a more private location for our family friend and my partner, young son, and myself staying in the main level rooms. Highly recommend and we cannot wait to come back!

Great family apartment in a terrific neighborhood

Justine was wonderful. Our two teenagers loved having the upper rooms to themselves—really their own apartments. A very comfortable apartment with lots of character. The neighborhood is hopping and minutes away from main metro lines. Be sure to spend some time eating and strolling on Rue des Petits Carreaux—just a couple blocks away. You do have to be fit and willing to do about 120 stairs.

Cute apartment with roof terrace

We loved our stay in this gorgeous Paris apartment. Full of character and very comfortable with a cute roof terrace and amazing views - your reward for walking up the 119 steps. We put the kids to bed each night and had a glass of wine on the terrace watching the sun go down behind the Eiffel Tower. Great location, easy walking distance to many major sites. Merci beaucoup, Justine!

A charming, light-filled Paris Apartment

This apartment is wonderful for a family (or a group) with older children and without any mobility limitations, given that the apartment is on the top floor of a walk-up apartment building, and one bedroom also involves climbing stairs within the apartment itself. The apartment is light-filled and charmingly decorated (and clean). The beds were some of the most comfortable beds we have slept on. And, the apartment was well-located but also in a quiet location so you have the best of both worlds. A friend of the owner was there to greet us and explain how to work the window blinds (some are automatic), the gas for the stovetop, and the portable air conditioners. We highly recommend this apartment.

C'est si bon

This is a special and precious space, filled with luscious green plants in every room. But there is an effort that must be made. The apartment is a sixth floor walk-up, 120 steps on 200 year-old beautifully polished wood. The pictures on the site are accurate but do not tell the complete story of how beautiful the light is here. The windows look new and are of high quality, but handling the radiant heat and getting proper performance from the air conditioners is a challenge. It can get hot., but there is the rooftop garden where you can sit and sip and watch the Eiffel Tower light up. The kitchen is small but functional and included two refrigerators. Why would anyone cook when every 10 steps in this charming part of Paris there are wonderful restaurants and bistros. You location in the Bonne-Nouvelle allows walkable access to many sites and the intersection with two subway lines opens you up to almost every possible part of Paris. Justine was wonderful, prompt and caring. My family of five from ages 20 to 64 thoroughly enjoyed this property.

Amazing view with lots of stairs

We loved staying in this attic apartment. The owner, Justine, was very nice and had someone help us up with our luggage. I had the top floor with a plant filled small terrace enjoying picturesque views of The Eiffel Tower and a landmark studded panorama from my bedroom window. The stairs were not easy, especially after a long day at The Louvre, but every window had a lovely view. Walk a block to the boulevard rather than trying to have taxis find the location.

Wonderful week

If you can climb the stairs, the apartment is completely with it! There is a small Eiffel Tower view from the lovely terrace where we ate several meals, and a great view of Montmartre with Sacre Ceour and the tops of buildings and cathedrals. The rooms are well appointed and the kids loved the hammock in the living room. There is lots of light and greenery which make the place both spacious and cozy. The neighborhood has so many fabulous restaurants and is close to 4 metro stations on 4 different lines. The Choco Story museum is a couple blocks away and was a fun and tasty stop on our last day. Justine was a great hostess and provided us with some delicious bread, butter, and jam for the next morning/afternoon snack (it was Sunday so that was no small feat). Because we live in Europe, she even sent us home with some plant clippings to pot at home - very generous! Overall, we had a wonderful week!

Very comfortable apartement in the center of 2nd arrondissement

We were a family of four and spent 4 nights in this lovely apartement looking over the roofs of Paris (including the illuminated Eiffel Tower). It is very well equipped with up to 4 bedrooms. You get an idea how real Parisiens live. The apartement is located in the center of a neighbourhood full of life with restaurants, bars and shops just around the corner. You can walk to the Seine for sightseeing or take the metro a few steps away. We really enjoyed our stay and can only recommend the flat! Don't be afraid of the 120 stairs. They are worth it!

Charming flat, great location

We spent five days in Paris. Two adults, two teens. This apartment has a lot of character and we loved it. Beautiful indoor plants and rooftop garden. Books and souvenirs from around the world in every room give bohemian flavour. Make sure to include the fourth room in your reservation for an extra bathroom and an idyllic extra bedroom (my daughter loved it but access may be a little challenging to some). Windows all around and three AC units made our stay conformable in spite of the hot weather. The owner Justine was friendly and helpful. She greeted us and showed us around the apartment. Access is via staircase only (but assistance is available to carry suitcases). We would definitely book this apartment again.

Fabulous property, close to everything a newcomer could want to see. Highly recommended!

We had six family members ranging from mid-teens to middle age, and there was enough room for all of us to enjoy each others company as well as to have some individual space. The apartment is lovely and the host is a gem. We enjoyed running around the Louvre every morning, eating at all of the wonderful cafes and visiting all of the most incredible attractions in Paris. Our family had the opportunity to participate in the June Summer festival, and were so close to the metro that it was almost too easy to get around! We had a great time renting scooters which were available right in front of the apartment, and travelled on them from one end of the city to the other multiple times. The steps are a workout, but everyone in our family felt in better shape by the end of our journey, and the view from the deck is the best. We ended up renting the 4th bedroom which I would recommend for anyone wanting a very unique, intimate and/or fun place for a young couple or older children to stay, as it is almost like a second apartment and includes a cute toilette/shower combination which is great for larger parties. Thank you, thank you, thank you ... this was a great experience!
