Un appartement de luxe au rez-de-chaussée superbement situé sur la station de Monte Dourado, en plein centre de Carvoeiro, et à quelques pas de la plage et du centre-ville (500 mètres). L'appartement est comme neuf et a été mis à jour à un niveau très élevé et comprend la climatisation dans le salon et les deux chambres. Il y a deux chambres spacieuses, la chambre principale avec salle de bains et la deuxième chambre avec salle de douche. La cuisine est moderne et entièrement équipée avec lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, lave-linge et grand réfrigérateur-congélateur. Le salon dispose de sièges confortables avec une télévision à écran plat de 40 pouces et comprend la télévision par câble offrant des chaînes de télévision anglaises en HD (BBC1 & 2, ITV, CBBC, Sky News et Sky Sports et bien d'autres) ainsi que de nombreuses autres chaînes linguistiques, un lecteur DVD (il y a une grande collection de DVD, livres et jeux pour toute la famille) et comprend également un feu de bois pour les soirées plus fraîches. Le salon donne sur une belle terrasse ensoleillée avec table et chaises de qualité, et de belles vues sur l'une des cinq piscines (y compris la piscine pour enfants) dans le complexe (qui sont disponibles pour tous les clients) et un petit jardin. L'appartement comprend également une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite et un coffre-fort pour ordinateur portable numérique (les clients doivent s'assurer d'avoir leur propre assurance pour couvrir le contenu détenu).

L'appartement se trouve dans un bel endroit isolé qui est calme et paisible et dispose de jardins bien entretenus avec des courts de tennis à 100 mètres.

Une voiture n'est pas nécessaire mais il y a beaucoup de stationnement dans la rue à proximité de l'appartement toute l'année.

L'appartement est géré localement par Monte Dourado et la réception est à seulement 100 mètres (il y a une connexion téléphonique dans l'appartement, vous pouvez donc être assuré que le personnel sera à votre disposition pour vous assurer de passer de bonnes vacances reposantes, que vous réserviez une voiture, un voyage ou organiser un taxi). Le personnel est très serviable et disponible sept jours par semaine et vous aidera à réserver des voyages, du golf, des transferts aéroport, la location de voitures ou toute autre information dont vous pourriez avoir besoin. Des lits bébé, des chaises hautes et des lits pliants sont également disponibles sur demande pour la location.

La piscine principale est chauffée du 1er octobre au 30 avril.

L'électricité est facturée aux clients pour les réservations de novembre à fin mars.

Les serviettes de piscine sont fournies et peuvent être échangées à la réception pour 1 € par serviette.

De grands tapis de plage sont disponibles pour tous les clients.

Un service de femme de chambre est assuré 3 fois par semaine pour le ménage de base. Le changement du linge de lit est effectué chaque semaine et le changement des serviettes de bain en milieu de semaine. Un nettoyage supplémentaire peut être organisé aux frais du client.

Pour ces provisions essentielles, il y a un mini-marché à moins de 5 minutes à pied, ainsi que le marché municipal local où vous pouvez obtenir des fruits frais, des légumes, du poisson et de la viande tous les jours (sauf le dimanche).

Vacation within a vacation

We have been traveling through Portugal for over seven days. Our stay here allowed us the relaxation we needed with the ease of a beautiful, modern condo with all the amenities. The town was a a short walk with restaurant and some shopping.

Wonderful 10 days, the apartment was larger than expected and very modern and clean. Would definitely recommend. Location was great but expect some hills but that applies to majority of the accommodation in the resort.

Simply amazing spot!

Beautiful and awesome place: super clean, totally equipped, comfortable and so close to many amenities! Bars (live bands & karaoke) and restaurants are very close. The beach was only a 5 minutes walk. Super duper host Michelle was quickly available and so kind! Totally recommend it!

This property is clean, updated and in a great location. The property owner is so easy to deal with and is quick to respond to questions/inquiries. Extremely accommodating. This apartment has most things you need in the kitchen (should you choose to cook!). Fabulous apartment. Fabulous owner.

Lovely apartment right next to the pool. Everything you need. Very close to the centre of town although a little hilly on the way back but nice to take it easy. Nice restaurants close by and supermarkets 2 minutes away and everyone was nice and friendly.

Great experience from start to finish. Michelle the owner was really responsive and helpful with any questions. Great restaurant recommendations - particularly Jota Lita, which we loved. Apartment was spacious , very tasteful and so much better equipped than a package rental would be.

10 days in Carvoeiro

Fantastic to be back in Carvoeiro (and back at Michelle's property in Monte Dourado) - visit number 3 to the town and second to this property. Just as we remembered - everything we could wish for in a holiday property with easy access to the pool (which kept both our boys happy)! Thank-you Michelle for being such a great communicative and helpful host. We hope to stay again in Carvoeiro.

Wonderful apartment

What a fabulous apartment! Clean and tidy. Had all of the amenities you needed. The location was within a 5 min walk to downtown Carvoeiro where you can find many restaurants and shops. The owner responded in a timely fashion to any questions we had. She was excellent to deal with. Highly recommend this apartment. Great stay! Coming back for sure.

Beautiful apartment, kitchen better than I have at home, pool & sunbed's right outside the front door, easy check in. Very close to the beach & restaurants, but far enough away to be very peaceful, Michelle was very helpful with recommending car hire & any other questions we had, would recommend to anyone, only thing to note is that in April the temperature drops from 20 during the day to 14 at night so take warm clothing, all positive & hopefully will be back soon.

The appartment is as advertised with everything you could possibly need .Close to the town and the complex pools Staff all friendly and helpful . Simply the best!!

We all agreed that the property was one of the best we've ever been to, and we have been self catering together for many years. The maid service was a great bonus and the fact that the towels and sheets were changed during our stay added to our feeling of we'll being. There was a problem with the shower when we first got there, which was dealt with immediately and was fine after the repair. We were able to walk to many bars and restaurants and to the beach. The pool was just next to the patio area which was brilliant. Altogether, a great holiday, thank you.

A real gem of a place!

Absolutely loved this stunning apartment! It had everything you need and was decorated in a modern fashion with comfortable furniture. The lovely terrace overlooking the pool is a bonus! Rooms are large and with 2 bathrooms, made life easy! Set in a well kept gardened area and just a 5’ walk into the village, which has everything you need. The pool is not heated so takes a bit of getting used to! All in a peaceful setting. What’s not to like?

Home from home

Absolutely loved the apartment, the photos do not do it justice. All we could wish for and more. Very spacious, even got sky sports channel on the tv. Brilliant location, 5 minutes to shops, restaurants/bars and beach. Lovely pool which was quiet most of the time. Carvoeiro has many restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets. The only reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars for cleanliness is because none of the corners had been cleaned for a while. Also we didn't get our bedding changed during our stay even though we stayed for 8 nights. Easy communication with owner. We would definitely use the apartment again on our next trip to Carvoeiro. We highly recommend.

Fantastically well maintained apartment in great location

We went for a short winter break to Carvoeiro and had a fantastic 6 days. The weather was great and so was the apartment. Decorated and set up to a high standard. We have stayed in many apartments over the years in different places and this was up with the best. As well as the décor being high quality the kitchen was fully equipped and no running out of plates or glasses. Sitting outside the apartment is pleasant with a nice little garden to overlook. There are comfortable chairs to sit on and read your book and also a table to enjoy breakfast and lunch at. The pool is very close to hand. It was great to lie by on well maintain sunbeds. Less than a five minute walk and in the evening you are in the centre of town, with a great range of bars and restaurant. Even out of season there is plenty of choice. I will be returning.

Great, relaxing stay

So glad I chose this location. It isn’t as crowded as other areas in low season. The beach is sufficient, if you have time to drive you can access a huge beach with softer sand by Sagres and visit the fortress. A nice board walk up the hill is lit at night in Carvoeiro , so you can walk off the late night dinner. We make breakfast in the well equipped kitchen to save time, but there’s breakfast options in town. There’s some great Indian and Nepalese restaurants which have excellent food and service is most courteous. The condo is spacious and the pool is not heated, but refreshing. There’s plenty of food stores down the road toward Lagoa to buy groceries of more variety. Consider taking the 7 Hanging Valleys Trail (Praia da Marina) instead of the Benagil Caves boat tours, unless you like being packed on a boat like sardines, breathing boat engine exhaust, and you’ll save time, frustration, and money - also you might not see the cave with the hole in the top because it’s tide dependent, and you need overhead sun for pictures. You will see plenty of caves and arches from the trail.

We currently live in the UK but our intention is to eventually retire to Carvoeiro. Though that is some years away, we thought we would share our 'place in the sun' with others so they can also experience and hopefully come to love Carvoeiro and the Algarve like we do.
