Bellissimo appartamento di 'charme', molto romantico, antica dimora del bisavolo del proprietario, notaio di Montepulciano. Interamente ristrutturato di recente, molto tranquillo, in magnifica posizione: nel centro storico, ma affacciato sulle mura cittadine in posizione dominante. Due deliziose camere da letto finemente arredate; entrambe con parquet, stupendi soffitti affrescati dell'800 e un magnifico panorama sull'intera Valdichiana e sul Lago Trasimeno. Soggiorno luminosissimo con travi a vista, lucernario elettrico e pavimento in cotto.
Cucina con dotazione completa. Lavabiancheria. Bagno con doccia/idromassaggio. TV a LCD. WiFi libero. Aria condizionata. Riscaldamento autonomo. Posti letto 4 (1 letto matrimoniale + 2 letti singoli affiancabili) +2 (1 divano-letto e 1 poltrona-letto). Fruibile tutto l'anno.

N.B.: La casa e la strada sottostante, per le loro caratteristiche particolarmente scenografiche, sono state utilizzate per le riprese di alcune scene del film 'NEW MOON' (sequel di 'TWILIGHT') e, più recentemente, per le riprese del TV-movie "I MEDICI", con Dustin Hoffman e Richard Madden (quasi interamente girato a Montepulciano e a Pienza)

N.B.: COVID-19 - Informiamo che nessun ospite Covid-19-positivo ha mai soggiornato nel nostro appartamento, nè ci sono stati casi di Covid-19 nell'intero quartiere.

Heart of Montepulciano home.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. It was conveniently located for parking and taking your luggage. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. It was very clean and was a great weekend. Our stay was short but we enjoyed it very much. Would recommend staying here.

Tuscan Charm

We loved the location of this beautiful apartment right in the heart of Montepulciano with restaurants, bakeries and shops just steps away. The view from the bedroom windows is amazing. Fernanda was in communication and suggested wonderful restaurants.

Great place to stay while in Tuscany

We enjoyed our week's stay in this spacious, comfortable apartment. Excellent location for exploring Tuscany. It was well equipped for cooking dinners in the apartment when we were too tired to eat out at one of many great restaurants in Montepulciano. Hope to return to Fernanda's house very soon.

Beautiful Town and Home

I love staying at this property! Everything I needed was right there and easily accessible. Plenty to do right in the town itself, and all sorts of other activities outside the historic city itself. The host was wonderful and quick to respond if I had a question. I hope to come back soon!

Wonderful apartment!

We loved this apartment in Montepulciano. Perfect location, great view of the Tuscan hillsides from the bedroom windows, very friendly and welcoming hostess, very clean. I highly recommend this apartment and would definitely stay here again.

Charming stay in a charming town

We were given clear directions to find the apartment and we were met at the door. The apartment did not disappoint. It was clean, had everything we needed to be comfortable. The location was perfect, 1/2 a block from the main road. We so enjoyed our stay and plan to return!

Great Location

Fernanda’s place was perfect. She had a bottle of wine waiting for us. Perfect way to start our stay. She communicated so well with us. Easy check in and check out. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Perfect location, nice host, beware stairs and parking difficulties

We stayed here for 8 days. The apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped (washing machine a big plus). Location ideal for Montepulciano. Parking can cost approximately 20 euros per day and it was always a challenge to find parking in the P1 lot. Then a short walk uphill to apartment and the another 2.5 stories of steps to the apartment. Grocery is close by (5-10 minute walk). Host was always very resonsive and a delight to deal with. Overall a very good stay.

Would stay again!

Clean, roomy, convenient, Great shower, comfy beds, low part of Montepulciano near Porta al Prato, convenient to area sights, wonderful owners. Kitchen facilities. Need I say more?

This is a wonderful apartment in a perfect location in Montepulciano. Very clean and well furnished. Washing machine was a plus. We loved our time here. Beautiful view of Tuscany from the bedroom window. If we come back to Montepulciano, we would definitely stay here again. Very safe and secure as well. You really cannot go wrong with this property.

Every day is leg day...

Great location inside the walls of Montelpuciano. Town was uphill from the apartment. Fernanda was very quick to reply on What's App and had a great bottle of wine waiting for us. The closest parking lot was always full during the day but was still able to park in the free white parking spots as long as we came back after 4:30ish.

Everything was perfect!!

Everything was perfect with our stay in the beautiful, immaculate home of Fernanda!! We were soo happy when we arrived and walked in to the most beautifully decorated apartment in the most perfect location!!! We couldn’t believe how absolutely perfect everything was for our entire stay of 10 days!! We had everything we needed and Fernanda was always there if we needed to ask any questions!! We would only want to stay here for any future visits!!! Thank you Fernanda!!! Grazie Mille!!!

Great Location in Montepulciano

Overall great location! Fernanda was prompt in replying to our inquiries and kept us updated regarding “new parking regulations” within the walled city. We always love staying in Montepulciano and staying here even made it more convenient to get around. Fernanda’s place is very private, not along any busy area…easy to get around and super close to the main entrance. Everything in the house is easily available and if you need anything, the local supermarket is within walking distance to this place (Conad), even for my elderly parents. Thank you!

Spacious and charming!

Large, comfortable apartment with everything you might need. Francesca contacted us before we arrived and called the police so we could drive in to unload (and when we left). Her in town helper, Lubya, was there waiting for us. The four poster queen bed was very comfortable. There was information about where to park, restaurants, wineries and more. A bottle of good local wine was there to welcome us. The town was friendly and fun. A winner!

Beautiful old world charm!

Fernanda's home was exactly what we were looking for and more. It had old world Italian charm with the beautifully painted ceiling in the bedroom and the curtains around the bed. It was stunning when the sun came shining through in the mornings. We loved the exposed beams and brick throughout the ceilings. The bed was very comfortable, the place was very clean and immaculately decorated. The bathroom was large which was nice to spread out our things. It was nice having a dining room table to sit down and write in our travel journal at the end of the day. She gave clear instructions on how to get to her home so take that off your worry list. Mrs. Maria met us there (later than we expected) to show us around the place which was nice. It was one of our favorite places to stay on this trip and we would definitely return here without a second thought! Fernanda was responsive and we can't thank her enough for letting us stay in her home!

Superbe vacances à Montepulciano

Appartement très bien situé dans le village proche du parking. Emplacement calme, loin de la rue commerçante et aucun bruit, nos enfants ont pu bien dormir. Appartement propre et accueillant, lumineux, rien ne manque, très confortable. A noter cependant que les lits enfants sont hauts mais cela est visible sur les photos de l'annonce. Le canapé lit est une place. Fernanda nous a réservé un très bon accueil. Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour.

Great spot, Great Location

We are a group of 4 travelling in Italy for 5 weeks and this was one of our best stays. The space is bright, with all the amenities we needed, including a beautiful bathroom with a wonderful shower, including bluetooth for music! Basics included coffee, tea, salt & pepper, olive oil and balsamic, which was great because we liked to buy our own snacks. Great for sleeping - no noise and beds and bedding were very comfortable, with extra blankets if needed. It had a great long family-style table with bench and chairs and a sofa as well. The decor was lovely and I would highly recommend it for a central location in Montepulciano

This apartment, together with the whole building, has been owned by my husband's family since 1830. His great-grandfather, Notary in Montepulciano, lived and worked in this home.

Abbiamo deciso di affittare l'appartamento del secondo piano per avere il piacere di ricevere persone, sia italiane che straniere, desiderose di conoscere Montepulciano e di vivere l'esperienza di abitare in un'antica casa nel Centro Storico.

We decided to rent the second floor apartment to have the pleasure of receiving people, both Italian and foreign, eager to get to know Montepulciano and to live the experience of living in an old house in the historic center.
