Questo appartamento è perfettamente situato a South Kensington. Il Museo di storia naturale, il Victoria e l'Albert Museum sono solo a pochi passi. Ci sono ottimi ristoranti e negozi di generi alimentari nelle vicinanze.

È completamente arredato.
Il letto super king size rende il tuo soggiorno ancora più confortevole. C'è un ingresso privato e l'uso è un bellissimo giardino comune.

L'albergo è un affascinante tipico edificio londinese, perfetto per un vero sentimento londinese.

Will definitely stay again!

Can’t say enough about how convenient this flat is. Easy access to public transport, quiet neighborhood, and the space is much larger than the pics would have you believe. It is a basement flat, tho, so if you have mobility issues, the stairs to the entrance may be tricky.

Great Location and Charm

We enjoyed our time at this charming basement apartment. The walk to the tube station was perfect and a very quiet neighborhood. The only thing I would suggest is that the owner labeled all of the switches and outlets, it takes a bit to realize what they do and not all of them do anything. It would be so helpful to be able to know what were working switches and what aren't. Also make sure you bring a usb adapter for your phones etc. They have 2 usb ports but neither of them worked for us. They did have a converter on top of the microwaye for us to use which was helpful. Also be aware that the flat does not have air conditioning. We stayed in April and only one day it was too warm. Summers in London can get quite warm. They also had a fan there to use which we did use to keep air circulating. Hot water ran out quickly when taking a shower after about 7 minutes. I feel like I had to reach out to the owner several times with very basic questions. They had a blue folder that had some information in it but could save themselves some of the frequent contact by adding more information to that folder.

Excellent location

Location was perfect and close to tube network. Short walking distance from Kensington Gardens/Hyde park. Very comfy bed and well organised apartment.

Nice flat near Hyde Park

Nice comfortable place in a nice neighbor hood. Near a Tune station, the museums, Hyde Park and all the conveniences you would likely need. Recommended.

Fabulous Flat!!!

The pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s a lot bigger than it looks! We love having two bathrooms (one full bath and one half). Location was perfect only a few blocks away from the tube! Felt very safe In this neighborhood. The host was very very very accommodating to early check-in and also allowing us to leave our bags in the apartment Since we had a later flight when leaving! Could not recommend this place enough

Spacious and Affordable Stay in Great Location

We loved our stay at this spacious and affordable apartment. Stayed with our teenagers and had plenty of room to spread out. Two bathrooms were great, a definite plus. The kitchen was fully stocked so we enjoyed some meals at home. The location is good and we had to problem tubing to wherever we wanted to go quickly. There are restaurants and shops a few blocks away, too, which was nice - we recommend Little India, by the way! We'd stay again if we return.

Excellent location

Great, quiet street very close to excellent restaurants, museums and Hyde Park. If you are truly ambitious like us, you can walk back from the Tower of London along the Queens Walk for a large part of it. Definitely a great place for a couple to stay. Definitely try Dishoom for Indian food which is about a half mile walk. Gloucester tube station is less than 5 minutes walking. Great place and excellent location.

Kensington Flat in Great Location

A comfortable flat located in Kensington. The flat was perfect for a couple to stay in while visiting London. As another review stated, this is really a studio flat and not a one-bedroom. For a couple this works fine, but if you wanted privacy from two other people, that would be limited. The location was very convenient to the Tube and retaurants and grocery stores. Would definitely stay here again if visiting London.

Lovely Basement Apartment

The location of this flat was perfect for visiting London with my husband and 2 children for 5 days. We used the kitchen for simple breakfast and dinners a few evenings to keep the trip more affordable. Comfortable king bed and the kids slept on pull out couch. The owner was very responsive when we inquired about extra towels as not enough had been left for a party of 4. We also took advantage of the washer/dryer so we could pack light. Great stay. Would book here again.

Kensington Apartment

Wonderful neighborhood. Apartment was okay, but I'm not convinced good value for money. Smelled a little damp or musty; kitchen lighting flickered; bathroom was not up to standard. However, very good communication with property owner/manager. Would look for a different property in the future. Sorry!

Perfect base

Stayed here as a family of four on a recent holiday to London. The location is perfect with quick access to three main Tube lines to easily get to all the main London sites. We enjoyed many evening walks through the beautiful, quiet, clean, neighbourhood and up to Hyde Park or Kensington High Street. The flat itself was exactly what we needed. Large living space, two bathrooms, fully functioning kitchen with laundry, and we felt safe. We were able to feel comfortable immediately. We cooked from there (or ordered in), washed clothes, and watch tv at night after a day of sightseeing. There are tons of local restaurants to choose from. Also the host was very responsive when we had questions. We would definitely stay again! Highly recommend!

Good location

Good location, a short walk from the tube station. Nice area, grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops nearby. Clean. Property is an open space, no designated single bedroom. No hot water in lower restroom and kitchen. Heating comes from free standing units. Windows have welded bars across. Property is located under the stairs in front.

Great location...but a few quibbles

The apartment was as advertised and for two people, plenty spacious and a fabulous location. As the owners of a VRBO property in the States for 20 years, and based on stays elsewhere in VRBO homes, there are a few suggestions. Notes could help (or in the apartment notebook). For instance, we couldn't figure out how to turn the dryer on or how to turn the heat on in the bathrooms, the half-bath doesn't lock, etc.. A TV listing guide would be useful. I'm sorry if we sound like fussy Americans, as individually these issues are small. But it's fantastic location, reasonable mid-winter fee, and spaciousness made it a great choice. Apologies for the nit picking.

Great location and spacious property

We have visited London several times and always wondered what a basement flat is like. We could live in this one...spacious and light comes in the windows. There are two bathrooms, one has a shower. While it sleeps up to four, there is no privacy between the bed in the bedroom and the sofa bed other than some slats that divide up the room. This arrangement gives the place a very spacious feel. Kitchen only has small table for two. Larger table in the living-room area. Only a few blocks to the Glouster Road underground and many museums and parks are nearby - can easily walk to them. There is a gourmet grocery store nearby and also a very large Waitrose grocery store (next to the underground station). Good internet connection. And lovely neighborhood.

Disappointing studio

Love the location, and quiet neighborhood. BUT, this is a studio, not a 1 bedroom. There are numerous deferred maintenance issues, such as rotting and peeling windowsills in kitchen and door frame to half bath. Half the lighting was not functional in the kitchen, and many missing lightbulbs. The “heating” is woefully inadequate, and consists of 3 electric devices, one of which is falling off the kitchen wall. There was a pervasive foul odor in the flat, as if a drain was blocked. While the kitchen was well equipped, there are numerous chipped dishes and no kitchen linens, which I bought myself. The towel rails did not function, and this was reported on check in day and not fixed after 2 weeks of our stay. Sadly, although we love this location, we will not be back to this flat.

Très bien placé mais…

Nous avons séjourné 5 nuits dans cet appartement fin Juin. L’emplacement est excellent, très central, ce qui nous permettait de rentrer se reposer et déjeuner le midi. Le quartier est calme et les immeubles et maisons ont beaucoup de charme. Il y a un jardin privé réservé aux habitants du quartier où l’on peut se reposer dans la verdure. En revanche, mauvaises surprises à l’arrivée, non décrites dans l’annonce : l’appartement est en souple, donc très humide, d’autant plus que la Vmc ne fonctionne pas, ça sent le moisi, même en arrant, c’est très incommodant. L’hygiène était très limite, surtout dans les meubles de la cuisine et ustensiles. J’ai envoyé un message au loueur qui ne m’a pas proposé de ménage supplémentaire mais à dit qu’il allait le signaler à la femme de ménage.Cet appartement est un grand studio, la chambre parentale étant séparée du reste par quelques marches et une cloison amovible.

Toller Ausgangspunkt, schöne Unterkunft

Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Allerdings handelt es sich eher um ein Studio. Das Schlafzimmer ist nur durch einen an der Seite offenen Raumteiler vom Wohnzimmer getrennt. Das hat uns aber nichts ausgemacht, könnte aber für andere relevant sein. Wir haben einen dritten Küchenhocker vermisst, wir haben abwechselnd gefrühstückt. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und der Host sehr freundlich und immer zu erreichen. Gerne wieder!

Fantastic Location

We loved our stay in this quiet neighborhood only a two minute walk to Gloucester Rd tube stop, restaurants and a grocery store. The flat had everything we needed and was perfect for a couple. The host was very responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

The perfect flat but for one negative......

The overwhelming overuse of artificial fragrance in the air (similar smell to chemical Fabreeze) of air freshener spray, flowery laundry soap and possibly dryer sheets. My husband is very sensitive to fragrance (he went out and bought two new pillow cases so his face didn't have to be so lose to the smell) and I am completely allergic- breaking out in a rash. Please, consider switching to fragrance free products and eliminating sprays so as not to offend anyone. This flat was so perfect otherwise. We did bring our own coffee. There is a pod machine but no pods. The size, quiet and wonderful neighborhood was top notch.. I gave this a solid five stars but please get rid of the smelly!!

Schönes Apartment, tolle Lage

Kuscheliges Apartment im Souterrain, perfekt für zwei Personen. Alles vorhanden, was man für ein paar Tage Aufenthalt braucht. Geniale Lage und eine freundliche und zuverlässige Vermieterin - wir waren sehr zufrieden.
