Latio at its best

Lovely appartment perfecly well equipped in a quiet surrounding close to the sea as well as to the lakes of Bracciano and Bolsena and to numerous etruscan and medieval places harbouring good traditional restaurants. Perfectly suited for family holidays. Constant and helpful support by the owner's family.

Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt

Natürlich ist man sich nicht sicher, was einen so im Urlaub erwartet - hier war es toll. Sehr gepflegte und komplett ausgestattete Wohnung (mit funktionierenden WLAN - was für einen 17 Jährigen besonders wichtig ist und Klimaanlage) in total ruhiger Lage. Wir wollten genau das. Wir wollten mehrmals mit Mietwagen oder Bahn nach Rom, an den Lago di Bracciano oder ans Mittelmeer - alles perfekt zu erreichen. Parkplätze sind auf dem Gelände. Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan. Die Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet und wenn etwas fehlt (Vormieter hatten die Adapter für die Steckdosen mitgenommen) wird das Problem in deutscher/englischer oder natürlich italienischer Sprache schnell und problemlos gelöst. Was wichtig ist: Es wird ein Fahrzeug benötigt, da die Lage etwas ausserhalb ist - aber das sieht man im Vorfeld auf der Karte. Wir können diese Unterkunft gern weiterempfehlen; und möchten auf diesem Wege nochmals DANKE zu Mario und seiner Familie sagen.

Mit einem Wort: Grandios. Alles hat gepasst. Die Begrüßung durch Giovanni vor Ort war überaus freundlich und herzlich. Er, aber auch der Vermieter Mario, welcher in Deutschland lebt, waren stets erreichbar und kümmerten sich um jedes Problemchen, was während unserer Zeit dort auftauchte, selbst wenn sie es eigentlich gar nicht gemusst hätten (da durch uns verschuldet). Die Lage ist wunderbar auf einem Hügelchen, etwas ausserhalb von Cerveteri; es war sehr ruhig und entspannend dort. Das Anwesen ist weitläufig mit großem Garten, das Appartment ist geräumig und sauber. Sämtliche Küchen- und Wohnungsutensilien sind vor Ort. Die Nähe zu Rom ist ein Vorteil; man fährt mit dem Zug völlig entspannt innerhalb von 40 Minuten zum Hbf. Am Meer in Ladispoli ist man innerhalb von 10 Minuten mit dem Auto; weitere schöne Strände sind in 20 Minuten erreichbar. In Ladispoli ist abends einiges los. Wir waren insgesamt mehr als zufrieden, man kann sagen, begeistert. Vielen Dank für eure Gastfreundschaft, lieber Mario und lieber Giovanni. Markus mit Familie Würzburg

Déçu car l'annonce stipulait que nous aurions du avoir accès aux jeux pour enfant alors qu'ils étaient à la maison d'à côté. Le terrain n'était pas privatif ce qui n'était pas noté dans l'annonce ce qui nous a fortement dérangé De plus la ville était très sale. Absolute Erholung, in toller Lage

Unser Urlaub im Ferienhaus war absolut super. Vor Reiseantritt hatten wir schon Kontakt zu unserem Vermieter Mario, der uns sehr gut mit Informationen vorab versorgte und uns bei Fragen hilfreich zur Seite stand. Ein riesiger Vorteil war hierbei das Mario, sowie auch der Hausverwalter Giovanni sehr gut deutsch sprechen. So hatten wir überhaupt keine Verständigungsprobleme. Am Tag der Anreise erwartet uns der Hausverwalter Giovanni bereits am Haus. Als wir ankamen fühlten wir uns sofort wohl. Alles war sauber, ordentlich und sehr gemütlich. Giovanni erklärt und noch einige Dinge zum Haus. Außerdem hatten wir seine Telefonnummer, falls irgendwelche Fragen oder Probleme wären. Die gab es aber nicht. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Absolut hilfreich waren die Klimaanlagen bei den sommerlichen Temperaturen. Die Lage des Hauses ist ideal. Es ist schön ruhig, jedoch ist man schnell mit dem Auto am Strand zum Baden oder am Bahnhof um von hier aus in kurzer Zeit in Rom zu sein. Zum Einkaufen ist alles in der Nähe und schnell zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, das italienische Essen und das Leben genossen. Vielen Dank nochmal an Mario, seine Frau und Giovanni für die Hilfe und die Tipps. Wir hatten einen richtig schönen Urlaub.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt in einem sehr schönen Haus in ruhiger Lage

Mit unseren beiden Kindern (8 und 10 Jahre alt) hatten wir in Cerveteri einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man während des Aufenthalts braucht. Kleines Manko: Die Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer hat leider bei uns auch nicht funktioniert, die Klimaanlagen in den Schlafzimmern liefen zum Glück aber einwandfrei. Und das Dachgeschoss mit eingezogener Holzbalkendecke ist zwar sehr gemütlich, aber durch die mangelnde Trittschalldämmung hellhörig. Bis auf diese zwei Punkte ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt!

Old urine in the front of Toilet grout, Rats in the garden, and a shared garden with other guests.

When we ordered this house, it looked very nice comparing to the price in the pictures, but remember, pictures can lie, and indeed they did here. Mario was very nice before we paid the full amount, and was very fast to reply on messages in vrbo. We arrived to the house in Cerveteri Italy, and at first sight we could see that it was far from the pictures he use as advertisement, and there was already another family in the house, something Mario never mentioned anything about, and i wrote to him before we ordered this house, that i will come with 5 small dogs (french bulldogs), he never mentioned that there would be other guests at the property i should be aware off, and nothing in advertisement about shared garden. We arrived and packed out, the other family said that they were leaving the day after, i thought that's okay that is not something i will complain about, but 2 days after the other family left, another german couple moved in. I wrote to Mario and said that he never mentioned anything about the possibility, that another family also will live right next door, and that it was a shared garden. With 5 small dogs, and other people running around on the property, my vacation was destroyed, i had to "build" a fence of sun chairs, so my dogs would not bark at the other guests. When i complain about this situation, Mario got really rude, and was talking about that i had broke the contract, by using the water hose and building a fence out of sun chairs. As i explained to Mario, that i was using the water hose to clean the terrasse from the previous guests, because it was full of sand, dirt, ants, and fall downs from the pine trees. I explained to Mario that the nabo dogs was barking until half past to in the night every night, and my dogs also barks when the nabo dogs bark constantly. I also explained to Mario that the pictures he uses for advertisement for this house, is false advertisement, and that it was not okay to treat his paying customers like this. 1. The airconditioning did not work in living room. 2. Old Urine from previous guests in the grout in front of the toilet. 3. If you are 180 cm or above, you get the pleasure of taking a bath on your knees. 4. 4 chairs out of 6 was there a big hole in, coved up with pillows. 5. Rats in the garden, my dogs was constantly chasing Rats. 6. Having the pleasure of Mario's wife walking right in the garden 3 mornings in a row, without any notifications at all suddenly she just came... :-(

Perfektes Ferienhaus

Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Sauber, ordentlich, alles funktioniert...ein Ort zum Zuhause fühlen.Die Klimaanlage hat super Dienste geleistet, es gibt mehrere Parkplätze auf dem Grundstück, deutsches Fernsehprogramm, alles in allem für 4 Personen top. Man wird auf deutsch begrüßt und eingewiesen, das war super...Zu den schönen Stränden in der Nähe fährt man ca 10 - 15min mit dem Auto, was völlig ok war. Supermärkte (Lidl u.a.) ca 5 min. Wir waren auf jeden Fall begeistert, es ist kein Ort mit Trubel bis in die Nacht.

La location non è male e in linea con le foto. Purtroppo la gestione è delegata al vicino di casa che è una persona decisamente scortese e invadente. Ho dovuto chiedergli di tornare a casa sua perché ogni 5 minuti era in mezzo ai piedi.... In sostanza: ottima casa, accoglienza inaccettabile...peccato

Tolle Lage in der Nähe von Rom

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön gelegen. Man kann den Petersdom mit dem Zug in 30 Minuten erreichen, das Meer mit Strand ist auch in der Nähe des Bahnhofs ( mit dem Auto ca. 15 min entfernt). Ein großer See ist auch schnell zu erreichen, wobei wir den schöneren kleinen See bestens empfehlen können (Privatstrand). Der Garten hat sehr große Pienienbäume, die die Hitze im Sommer erträglichen machen. Für vier Persohnen ist die Wohnung Top. Das Wohnzimmer läßt sich leider nicht abdunkeln, weshalb es trotz des sehr stabilen großen Schlafsofas nicht die volle Punktzahl gibt. Aber auf jedenfall empfehlenswert! Danke auch an Guiseppe der immer hilfsbereit war.

Super Ferienwohnung zum wohlfühlen!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen, erholsamen Urlaub im Haus Claudia und schon vor dem Urlaub sehr netten, telefonischen Kontakt mit Mario(Vermieter).Perfekte Lage für viele Ausflüge. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr modern eingerichtet, sauber und genauso, wie beschrieben. Es gibt in der Nähe genug Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und zum Strand ist es ein "Katzensprung". Besonderes Plus war die Waschmaschine! Der Hausverwalter Guiseppe wohnte gleich nebenan und kümmerte sich sehr um uns. Er sprach sehr gut Deutsch und half uns bei der Planung Zugfahrt Rom.( für schon 8,00€/pro Person ab Ladispoli inkl. Metro in Rom) Der Vermieter Mario kam persönlich kurz in den 10 Tagen vorbei und gab uns viele hilfreiche Tipps . Wir fanden es sehr angenehm, dass er so gut Deutsch sprach, denn ansonsten kommt man nur mit englisch oder eben italienisch weiter. Super Ausflüge waren: Ostia Antica, Rom, Villa Adriana in Trivoli und Bracciano-See. Unser Lieblingsstrand war in San Nicola- ca. 10 min entfernt. Wir würden jederzeit diese Ferienwohnung weiterempfehlen und auch selber wieder dort Urlaub machen. Danke Mario für diesen schönen Urlaub bei Euch!

Fantastic stay at Haus Claudia

We had a fantastic stay at haus Claudia! Close to Rome (to go by train or car) and the beaches. Friendly and hospitable hosts, a very spacios, very clean house. Everything is equipped : Airco, working modern flatscreen TV's, dishwasher, washing machine, BBQ. Outside a nice big garden with kid's swings, trampoline, closed fence.. If there would be a swimmingpool : we would give Haus Claudia a 10/10 without doubt! Instead we relaxed at the beach or at Lake Bracciano between our visits to Rome! Hope to come back here soon!

Mooie moderne en kindvriendelijke villa

Van 22 t/m 28 juli verbleven we in dit vakantiehuis. Het is een nette en moderne woning, alle benodigdheden zijn er. Tevens is er gedacht aan de kleine kinderen, zo is er een speeltuin met klimrek, schommels, glijbaan, trampoline, voetbalgoals. De eigenaar en de buren(waren er bij de check in en het uitchecken) zijn ook zeer vriendelijk, je kunt ze alles vragen. Je hebt veel privacy in de tuin en het stadje Cerveteri ligt op 5 min afstand. Daar zitten ook verschillende supermarkten en andere winkels/restaurants. Alles is verder precies zoals op de foto's, alles is schoon en goed onderhouden. Als we weer richting Rome gaan zullen we dit huis zeker weer huren. groeten Familie van Goch Nederland/Holanda

GRÜNES PARADIES NAH AM MEER

Wir habne dieses zwei Haus mit zwei Familien (4 Erwachsene und 6 Kinder insgesamt) und einem Au-Pair gebucht und das war perfekt! Regelmäßig kam ein Gärtner, die Wohnungen waren gepflegt und gut ausgestattet. Die Anzeige hatte nicht zu viel versprochen: die Umgebung ist wunderschön, das Haus äußerst geschmackvoll und mit Liebe eingerichtet, überall gibt es interessante Bücher. Die Zimmer, ob größer oder kleiner, sind alle sehr gemütlich. Zum Strand sind es ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto, ebenso nach Cerveteri und Bracciano, wo man viele Restaurants und Bars findet. Cerenova ist es nicht weit, wenn man Abwechslung sucht, z.B. auf einen Besuch des Wochenmarkts. Die Korrespondens war sehr gut, sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend (Danke Mario!!!) Wir kommen wieder!

Week long stay in February, 2014

My wife, son (10 years old) and I spent six days at Haus Claudia in February, 2014. Our first impression was great. We had no trouble finding the place and the hosts that live next door were very friendly and helpful (they have good advice - listen to them if you stay here). The yard and car park are gated and the place feels very secure. We were expecting an older, rustic place judging from the pictures but everything in this place is new and it looked as if it was completely redone in the fall of 2013. The place was spotless when we arrived. The place has a beautiful view across a farmers field (with sheep at times) down to the ocean and has some beautiful sunsets. There was a septic smell to the place when we first got in to the house probably due to the S traps drying out over the winter. Once we ran the water and aired the place out the smell went away completely and this won't be an issue unless you happen to be staying here after it hasn't been rented for a long time. It was cool in the evenings when we were there and the heating system is more than adequate to keep the place warm and cozy. The furniture is comfortable, the TV has more channels than you can believe and the internet worked flawlessly. You will need a car if you are staying here as you are out in the country but this place is perfectly situated for day trips into Rome or the surrounding areas and has easy access to the A series highways. The house is about a ten minute drive from the ocean which would be great in the summer. The house is also close to many restaurants and several grocery stores. The pictures of the house on the website are exactly what you you will find when you get there. There is a switch in the bathroom that turns the hot water on and off and I turned it off accidentally at night while looking for a light switch which made me very unpopular with my wife the next morning... The bedrooms up stairs have skylights in them that let in a lot of light so sleeping in is not an option in the morning unless you sleep with a blindfold. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. We stayed two other places in Italy and this was by far the cheapest place we stayed at and it was our second favourite. If we find ourselves travelling back to the Rome area we would certainly stay here again and would recommend it for either two couples or a family up to four. There is another rental place beside this one so if you had a larger group you could rent both places and have tons of room.

Beautiful country stay

We stayed here five nights with our two young children. Mario was very welcoming and accommodating, even bringing over a baby bed and high chair. The apartment was clean and cosy and well equipped, there is also a washing machine and wifi. The outdoor space is beautiful as well! We`d definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting a quiet relaxing atmosphere, within close distance to all the tourist sites of Rome.

Ferien in Cerveteri

Wir haben wunderbare Zeit in Cerveteri verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr schön, sauber, modern und perfekt eingerichtet. Die Bilder lügen nicht! Die Vermieter, vorallem Mario (spricht perfekt deutsch) sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns viele gute Tipps gegeben, die wir gern befolgt haben. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft sehr. Fam. Tout simplement parfait. A recommander.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans cet havre de paix. Le gite est au calme, parfaitement situé par rapport au bord de mer et surtout à 30/40 minutes du centre de Rome. Un régal pour les visites. Les prestations sont de très bonne qualité, la décoration est agréable, apportant une certaine sérénité. Le gite est spacieux. La disposition des pièces fonctionnelle. Et surtout, l'accueil est très amical. Mario nous a fait plaisir de quelques attentions : quelques citrons, des poires fraichement cueillies. Nous espérons avoir l'occasion de revenir. Perfetta location!!!!

Insieme a mio marito e ai nostri tre figli (17, 14 e 10 anni) abbiamo trascorso 12 giorni presso "Haus Claudia" in Cerveteri. La villa è esattamente quella che si può vedere nelle fotografie! Pulita, estremamente accogliente e arredata con buon gusto dalla padrona di casa, è dotata di TUTTI i comfort che si possono immaginare: condizionatori (mai utilizzati), lavatrice, lavastoviglie, televisioni in soggiorno e nella camera matrimoniale con canali satellitari, wf, stoviglie e biancheria nuove e di buona qualità. All'esterno l'ampio giardino, ben curato, è attrezzato con giochi per bambini, tavolo, sedie e ombrellone e lettino sdraio per godersi piacevoli momenti di relax! La posizione a soli 30 minuti di automobile da Roma ci ha consentito di tornare più volte nella capitale e di visitarla così come desideravamo fare in questa vacanza! Non sono mancate giornate al mare nelle vicine spiagge di San Nicola e Santa Severa, così come visite agli scavi etruschi di Cerveteri, al lago di Bracciano (col suo Castello Odescalchi) e a quello meno conosciuto di Martignano, alle pittoresche Ceri e Calcada, alle cascate di Monte Gelata, alla vicina Civitavecchia e alla bellissima Ostia antica... ...e anche un giro a cavallo e una giornata al parco acquatico di Hydromania per la gioia dei ragazzi!!! Moltissime sono le possibilità che il Signor Mario e la moglie, estremamente accoglienti e disponibili, non hanno mancato di consigliarci fornendoci molti suggerimenti utili per agevolare il nostro soggiorno!!! Indubbiamente suggeriremmo il soggiorno presso la villa a chiunque desideri visitare questa zona del Lazio!!!

Great holiday in a lovely place

We stayed four nights in Ceveteri and enjoyed it very much. Mario and his wife are very kind and helpful, the house is lovely, just like on the photos. There is a supermarket quite close and we had a great time on the seaside and visiting the sights in the area. We'd be happy to return any time.

Toller Aufenthalt bei Rom!!

Der Aufenthalt im Haus Claudia hat uns sehr gefallen. Alle Angaben des Vermieters waren korrekt. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was einen angenehmen und erholsamen Urlaub ausmacht. Die Schlafzimmer hatten super bequeme Betten. Insgesamt ein tolles Ferien-Domicil das wir jederzeit weiterempfehlen können. Die wunderschöne Terrasse mit Blick zum Meer ist mit schönen Gartenmöbeln ausgestattet und abends kann man bei einem Glas Wein den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Die Vermieter waren jederzeit erreichbar und sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Resumee es war ein toller Aufenthalt - wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Sabine /Ulm
