Il casolare, è una cappella convertita risalente al 1799 ed è stato restaurato con cura con materiali tradizionali toscani, ha una camera da letto matrimoniale, bagno privato e una sala lettura al piano superiore con cucina completamente attrezzata, sala da pranzo e salotto al piano inferiore. Le doppie porte conducono sul giardino e sull'accesso alla piscina appartata. Sono disponibili attrezzature per barbecue.

A bordo piscina c'è un autentico forno per pizza in pietra e un gazebo per rilassarsi nel sempre presente sole toscano.

We had a great time. Peace and quiet if we wanted it and lots to see and do in the surroundigs. Thanks to John and Dianne we had invaluable tips for outings and a warm place to come home to (thx for starting the fire John!)

A perfect location in perfect surroundings with perfect hosts

We enjoyed a perfect week at the little house in San Biagio, Arezzo. Thanks to Dianne and John we found a beautiful place were we could go on walks in the nature, drive around to amazing places or just stay and relax! Thanks for everything!!

Lovely place to unwind

We really loved staying at Dianne and Johns place. They put so much work, love and taste into this little oasis. We loved their fresh vegetables and fruit. Highly recommended and we cannot wait to come back

Fantastic location, lovely hosts !

We had a month at the cottage, fantastic place in a lovely location with lovely hosts in John and Diane - The location is perfect as a base to explore the region - Arezzo, Siena, Cortona, Chianti - with John and Diane on hand to give some great local advice and guidance and if you are really lucky, John may make you a pizza !! We will definitely be back, and look forward to seeing Johns new Powerboat 🙄

Lovely cottage with enjoyable pool, but we weren’t made aware of the true distance down the track to the property, which is in a very poor condition.

If you want a place with total peace, this is the right place. It is a Challenge to find the place. But wen you are there, it is wonderfull. THANKS Dianne and John for pleasant conversations. It doesn't get any better than this.

Wow. If I could click 10 stars for a review I would. What a fantastic stay with super fantastic people. Our visit was at the end of March and it was beautiful. I can't imagine how beautiful this place would be later in the year. As for the hosts..... they could not have been more friendly and accommodating. They made us feel more like family then guests. I recommend 100% anytime of the year. Not to mention... there is not a more beautiful part of Tuscany.

A little piece of paradise and amazing hosts

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage of John and Dianne. The amount of love they put in the property is amazing. The cottage is very well decorated, has all the things you need and the garden and pool puts you in the vacation mood. The cottage is a little difficult to reach as you need to drive up a gravel/stone road that's a little bit of a challenge, but John makes sure you get there safely and guides you along the way. John and Dianne are amazing people. They respect your privacy but are there if you need anything and are in the mood for a friendly conversation. They are very welcoming, social and they tell amazing stories. We booked for 4 nights and we absolutely got piece, tranquility and relaxation during our stay. We were sad to leave but we are sure we will return again one day. This is a place you simply put in your heart and never let go out of your memory.

Charm & Calm

John & Dianne were utterly lovely and made every effort for us. The listing is very clear and if you're looking for peace and quiet in a serene valley, you couldn't do better. The track should be driven with care but after the first time accompanied by John, it's not too bad. I wouldn't bring a car with low clearance though. John and Dianne are in their home next door which was nice to know. They very much left us to it and didn't mind us playing our music by the pool. Otherwise we didn't see anyone else except the cats! Once you're installed, it's the perfect place for a digital detox although there is some basic wifi. The kitchen had everything we needed and the change of pace was exactly what we were after. I'm missing this lovely home already. Thank you for having us! Harry & Bruno.

Real Tuscany

Great location in rural Tuscany. Stayed for 10 nights. Getting out every day to visit Tuscany takes time, roads are not the best, but the views are breathtaking. Have patience going down the unpaved road, looks ugly first time, but for a convertible with aft wheels drive it made no problem. We found wirst roads in many places. Beautiful place to stay, quiet. And the hosts....great people, exceptional. They tell you anything you need to know. Verry rare to find such friendly hosts while having entire privacy. A place to return many times. Thanks John an Dianna for the excellent vacation we had

A real gem

This is a real gem and even better than the photos suggest. Absolute peace and quiet broken only by wonderful bird song. Find out what a dawn chorus really means! The garden is beautiful and feasting your eyes on it from the pool, with thickly forested hills behind, is a real treat. Fantastic places to visit locally amid real Tuscan countryside if you can tear yourselves away - though going out for the odd visit makes you appreciate it even more on your return. All this is rounded off by the very generous hosts who really put themselves out to ease our stay, being happy and willing to help or advise on pretty much everything. Excellent. We’ll be back next year.

Gorgeous San Biagio

San Biagio We loved the luxurious feeling of space and time— far off the beaten track—well worth the journey to this historical oasis nestled in a verdant valley amid lush gardens and birdsong. Sparrows and butterflies fluttered about the fragrant Jasmine vines and all that grows so beautifully—as if one has been swept up into a fairy tale by day & a mid summers dream at night. John & Dianne are excellent hosts-brimming with ideas of where to visit, along with hand drawn maps—upon request— which we appreciated—but mostly they are in their gardens quietly going about their chores—as guests swim or contemplate cloud shapes, sipping pink Prosecco in comfy loungers. When we did venture out— we found our hosts suggestions most delightful— as we explored day trips to Arezzo, Angihaly, Cortina, Montipulciano, Pienza, & lastly Sienna- where we enjoyed a memorable lunch in a gazebo-surrounded by 1400 olive trees at the gorgeous “Madonnabella-Winery” an absolutely divine afternoon. Classic Tuscan Experiences we will cherish forever. Our stay was romántico —as every day we fell deeper in love, charmed by all the gifts San Biagio bestowed upon us— the gift of slowing down, freedom to dream and contemplate love and life in luxury—sip Chianti and stargaze as snorting forest dwellers as grunt & sniff-out truffles while we hatch plans to revisit. Gracie-Millie-John & Dianne… Rather than say Arreviderci— we’ll say ‘Voleré- Ritornero’, we will return.

Natur pur

Wer Natur und Abgeschiedenheit liebt, wird sich hier sehr wohl fühlen. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, man hat von Küche bis zum Bad alles was man braucht. Sehr hilfreich, dass man den Geländewagen des Gastgebers nutzen kann, der direkte Weg zum Anwesen ist schon eine kleine Herausforderung. Aussergewöhnlich sind die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft von Dianne und John, sehr liebe Menschen mit Herz.

Rustig gelegen, prachtig gerenoveerde cottage

Wij hebben een heerlijk rustig verblijf gehad in een fijn huisje van alle gemakken voorzien. We werden opgewacht aan het begin van het pad en na een harteijke ontvangst door John en Dianne kon het genieten beginnen. De omgeving heeft veel moois te bieden .De pizzaoven het zwembad de mooie tuin en zelfs de moestuin stond tot onze beschikking. De eigenaren zijn zeer behulpzaam en heel vriendelijk en geven veel tips over de omgeving.Het overtrof onze verwachtingen.

Entspannung

Hier kann in ruhiger Lage ordentlich entspannt werden, Nachts kann es vorkommen dass ein schmatzendes Wildschwein vor dem Haus steht. Alles in allem eine Reise wert, ebenso wie die in der Nähe gelegenen Ortschaften die nicht so von Touristen überlaufen sind.

gemütlicher Sommerausklang

wir waren Mitte/Ende September zu Gast bei John & Dianne und haben es sehr genoßen! Das Cottage liegt sehr abgeschieden mitten in der Natur, der Ausblick ist atemberaubend! Auf dem Grundstück der Gastgeber gibt es viel Platz und genügend Privatsphäre, aber es ist dennoch immer schön den beiden zu begegnen. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Urlaub in Arezzo :-)

Gastfreundschaft

Wir kommen aus der Altmark und gehören zur "älteren" Generation. Nach einer langen Anfahrt holt uns John mit seinem SUV beim Straßenschild, das in die Richtung San Biagio weist, ab. Dianna empfängt uns und geleitet uns zum Ferienhaus. Ein schönes Anwesen. Nützlich und mit Kunstverständnis eingerichtet. Bewegend so. Erregend die Details. Wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. Ein Platz zum Ausspannen und Erholen von den Unwegsamkeiten des Lebens. Besonders für die, die Ruhe und die Natur mögen. An die Zeit bei Dianna und John werden wir uns gern erinnern. Renate

Verrassend verblijf op een unieke locatie

Wij verbleven een week in het knusse, gezellig en zorgvuldig ibgerichte huisje op het terrein van John en Dianna. Zij zijn een zeer attente gastheer en- vrouw. Wij konden, door het steeds beter wordende weer, gelukkig genieten van de mooie tuin, met diverse zon- en schaduwplekken en het fijne zwembad. De afgelegen ligging van het huisje maakte het geheel tot een zeer bijzondere ervaring. en de vakantieweek zeer geslaagd.

Sublime,mais ça se mérite !!

Difficile d'accès, c'est néanmoins une expérience inoubliable ! Il faisait froid,on était loin de tout,mais quelle beauté ! John et Diane sont aux petits soins,et ont su nous rassurer.Belles visites aux alentours, Arezzo,Cortona ,Sienne, Anghiari .Fantastique pour les amoureux de nature et de calme.

Sehr schöne und ruhige Unterkunft mitten in den Bergen und im Wald gelegen. Sehr nette, zuvorkommende und hilfsbereite Vermieter, die gerne Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Region geben. Das Haus ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und die Anlage sehr gepflegt. Der etwas abgelegene Ort ist ideal zum Entspannen und Erholen.

Ein Refugium mit viel Charme

Wir haben uns rundum wohl und bestens betreut gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll & viel Liebe eingerichtet. Dianne und John haben uns hervorragend betreut, und gleichzeitig die gewünschte Privatsphäre gewahrt. Gerne hätten wir die Ruhe und Umgebung noch länger genossen. We have renovated the cottage and house over the past few years and have welcomed many guests from all walks of life.

We are passionate about the Italian way off life and will gladly welcome you into our home and pass on our enjoyment of all things Italian. Whether its pizza which we can bake in our poolside genuine wood burning pizza oven or sharing the wonderful wines from the region or that ever present glass of prosecco watching the sun go down over the hills late in the evening.

We enjoy running and will gladly take you on runs or walks in the valley or surrounds.
