Lovely location and villa

Great location from Foki beach and short journey into Fiskardo. Enjoyed our stay on this villa, I am sure we shall return :)

Great location

The villa is in a great location. Only 5 mins drive to beutiful Fiscado and amaizing beaches. Fiscado has easy parking, good restaurants, bars and bespoke shops. The town is not to big or busy but big enough to keep you entertained for a week and has plenty of greek character and sophistication. The villa was very nice , quiet area, the only down point was the down stairs shower is not a proper shower, it is obove the toilet. Apart from that it was a great holiday highly recomended

Beautiful villa

Villa was superb , But sadly we had to park 200 yards away on the side of the road as the road up to the Villa garage was abysmal and we thought we’d lost the sump on our hire car . And I don’t think the Villa should state that there are 2 shower rooms as the downstairs one was a small toilet with a shower at really low level . Other that that excellent. We walked into Fiskardo a few times ( about 30-35 minutes but got a taxi back as it was mainly uphill [€8 ] But basically top notch all round

Summer Holiday

We stayed in Villa Jasmin for 1 week. The Villa was very lovely, with amazing views. It was very quiet, and close to the lovely town of Fiscardo. This would be a perfect place for some sun and relaxation.

Beautiful Villa!

We had a magical time at Villa Jasmine! The Villa was a perfect size for 4 of us. It was very clean and well equipped. The pool area was perfect and had a gorgeous view out to the ocean. Bob was so helpful in the run up to us arriving, answering any questions we had. We will be back.

Beautiful location……

Our overall impression is that it is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of outstanding natural beauty that we have ever seen. The house was perfect for us apart from the parking space & some difficulty in initially finding the property but that did not distract us from having a wonderful holiday.

Wonderful views

We had a lovely stay at Villa Jasmine, the views across the bay are beautiful, the beds are comfy, the kitchen is well supplied with utensils, dishwasher etc. We only had the AC on in the bedrooms at night and this worked well for us. There is a good area of shade with a table and the pool is enough to swim and cool down. There is plenty to do nearby. It is possible to walk to Foki beach, but it was too hot when we were there, however, it was only a 5 minute drive. The cave in the bay is interesting to swim to and there was some nice snorkelling. There are great restaurants nearby that we drove to and several other beaches to visit. Supermarkets 5 mins drive at the top of the hill in Maggianos and in Fiscardo, with time for a coffee in the harbour! Communication with Bob was excellent, very responsive and helpful. We hired a car through him and it was very straightforward collecting and drop off.

Gorgeous little villa

Loved this villa with a great pool and terrace. Great locations, quiet, ideal for exploring north of island. Unfortunately some points made it not quite perfect. We didn’t class this as two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is a downstairs toilet with a shower attachment, under the stairs. Unusable as the water would have run out into the lounge. Would be better to remove shower attachment as this makes using the toilet a very awkward. This meant four adults sharing one bathroom, not great. Kitchen is in need of a complete refurbishment, very old and tired. Sink had a leak, so we put a bowl underneath a pipe that hadn’t been capped off. Parking, big issue. The parking space is up a very steep incline and only big enough for a very small car. Please don’t park at the bottom of the hill at the side of the villa. It belongs to a neighbour, who we appreciate must be fed up of tourist parking in her space, but we got the full lash of her tongue. My husband suggested put a sign up, as how are we supposed to know and that inflamed the situation. Thank goodness a lovely Greek man let us park on his land for the whole of our two week stay. Bedroom furniture was poor quality, past its use by date. Wardrobes at collapsing point. One bedroom no chest of drawers. Beautiful villa, wouldn’t take much to get it perfect as it has good bones. Would we stay again, yes but maybe just two of us next time, simply because of the bathroom situation.

Honeymoon!

really nice property, recently renovated, very quiet area, amazing pool and sun terrace, good sun loungers and parasol provided. 1.2k to Foki beach and 3k to fiscardo. very hilly walk. only negative is we were being pushed out on change over!! check out is 11am. found an estate agent in the house at 8.30am and the cleaner started at 9.50am!

Amazing views

We had a wonderful stay at Jasmine villa. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to be able to escape the crowds. The views are breath taking especially if you are up early enough to watch the sunrise. The villa itself was clean and tidy on arrival and the air conditioning was most welcome. The change of sheets and towels half way through the week was a nice surprise too. There is a fantastic walk called the "Cyprus trail" which you can join if you follow the overgrown path round the back of the house up to the road. Overall I would highly recommend this villa.

Perfect getaway

Wonderful villa in Tselendata, beautiful view from the terrace and fantastic pool. Spotlessly clean and all amenities we required there was good wifi. Just a short drive to the beautiful Foki beach and the picturesque harbour of Fiskardo. Tricky to find in the dark even with directions but a telephone call to the hosts was promptly answered and put put us in the right direction. Would happily stay there again thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect holiday with friends in Fiskardo - made even better by this stay!

A brilliant experience renting this villa - Robert was extremely helpful before and during our stay and gave helpful driving instructions from the airport. The property was spacious, spotless and is wonderful for eating inside, outside, enjoying the sunshine and swimming. We made a lot of meals there and had everything we needed in terms of kitchen utensils - we did have to buy oil, salt, pepper, coffee filters etc ourselves. Shower is very hot and plenty of towels provided. Fiskardo is a beautiful place that we won’t forget! The only down sides were the missing pool table, which is shown online but was not there. Also, the television is only available in German language so we could not check the news which we would have liked. Lastly, there is some out of date information such as contact details and wifi password which needs to be removed - however, when I contacted the host he was very quick to help me and provide the correct information. Overall I would 100% reccomend this stay to anyone wishing to visit Kefalonia. It made a perfect base for exploring and relaxing after days on beaches and hiking.

Wonderful week

Property was perfect for our first family holiday with an 18month old. Gorgeous views, very clean, lovely and quiet, wonderful pool and everything you'd need to eat in if you wanted too. Air con was very welcome and the extra toilet downstairs was an extra bonus to stop soggy feet having to go upstairs. With an 18month old we thought it was a bit too far to walk to the nearest beach or Fiskardo but its a short drive so not an issue. If you're looking for a beautifully quiet house close to a picturesque town and beach its the place for you. The lights and outside shading issue mentioned on the other review had been fixed and when we mentioned the temperamental kettle someone came with a new one by the afternoon. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a private house in Kefalonia.

Our 2 week stay in Tselentata

The property has a wonderful view of the sea and Ithaca. The house was clean and had all the amenities described. The availability of a washing machine was particularly useful. There are a couple of areas where things could be improved: 1. The kitchen did not have enough glasses, bowls, cutlery. Example 3 wine glasses, 5 knives and forks etc. We had friends close by and it was impossible to offer 6 people a glass of wine. We went to a supermarket and bought 6 wine glasses for 4 euro (which we left at the property). Summary: for a property asking such rental prices per week it is totally reasonable to expect a well stocked kitchen cupboard. 2. The internet speed was a total abomination. A simple gmail page did not load properly. I have been to many places with slow internet but this was unworkable (I am not expecting streaming media speeds). 4G was the only alternative. My advice to the owner: either upgrade the connection or just simply remove it. As it stands it is simply embarrassing.

Good holiday - villa is nice but is neglected sadly

It was clean and regularly sheets changed etc. Nice size and layout for a family of 4 people. Good pool. The parking is not good at all (very steep rubble road with little/no room) especially if just arrived. Main complaint is that the villa is desperately neglected. A few investments and changes and it would be so much better - furniture inside and out is very old and breaking - made it feel very much a rental property. All of the outside furniture (except sun loungers and umbrellas) were virtually unusable and frankly dangerous. Broken. For the first few days the wooden pagoda was not covered so we had no shade to eat under which in greece is needed. Beds were very hard. TV didnt work properly except random German channels (not that we wanted to watch TV). Could not turn outside and pool lights on or off which was frustrating. Often had dinner outside in the dark! It was OK. We had a good time as Kefalonia is a great place - but with a bit of an upgrade of crappy furniture and reinvestment in the property - it could be so much better. Simple really.
