La villa s'impone sul mare con una vista privilegiata su tutto il golfo di Napoli. La sua posizione strategica permette di raggiungere facilmente sia le località di mare (Sorrento, Positano, Capri; ecc) che i principali monumenti e musei da visitare (Pompei, Ercolano, Napoli, Caserta).

Immersa nel verde, riservata, ampia e luminosa, offre meravigliosi scorci sul mare.

Dotata di un ampio giardino e terrazzi, forno a legna, barbecue e aree esterne attrezzate che vi permetteranno di cenare all’ombra della penisola sorrentina ammirando l’imponenza del Vesuvio.

Situata poco prima del paese di Vico Equense, è facilmente raggiungibile dalla statale costiera e con il treno.

Si compone di due piani, capaci di ospitare dalle 8 alle 11 persone. Ci sono infatti 4 camere da letto matrimoniali, un divano letto all'ingresso ed una poltrona letto singola posizionata in una delle quattro stanze da letto.

Una vacanza da sogno!

Bellissima vacanza. Villa molto accogliente con una vista mozzafiato sul golfo di Napoli. Margi è stata una padrona di casa molto attenta e cordiale. La vista che si gode dalla terrazza, la sera al tramonto, è veramente unica e indimenticabile. Grazie

A excellent house

We ( 6 adults and 2 children) have had a great week at the excellent Villa Margi in Vico. The house has an incredible view on the bay and the Vesuvius. It is from this place very easy to go and visit the cultural highlights of this area. We have seen them all. The landlady and her daughter are very helpful and react extremely helpful and very quick to answer on questions. A lovely week. I can recommend a visit warmly.

Large villa & stunning views at a low price

We rented part of the villa (4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms) for a 5 day stay in September 2015. Although the villa could use a little paint on the outside, the rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Two bedrooms have good working airco. Views from the terrace are stunning, from morning to sunset. Info and pictures on the internet fully correspond to reality. The landlady and her daughter are very friendly, helpful and correct (as from the first contact by e-mail till we said goodbye). There is a possibility to visit the Bikini Beach Resort for free (agreement with the landlady), which is only a small walk down and which we certainly recommend, taking into account the small size of the swimming pool. Sea water temperature begin September was up to 30°C. If you come by own or rented car, bear in mind that the road up to the parking lot near the villa is narrow and the curves extremely sharp, but one gets used to it quickly. Short, the high standard of the villa, the stunning views and, last but not least, the very economical rental price, make this property absolutely recommendable. Dear Margi and Maria Elena, thank you for this nice holiday!

Wonderful location and villa in the bay of Naples

We spent a great week at the beautiful Villa Margi, with an incredible view of the bay of Naples. Evenings on the terrace were amazing. The villa has a beautiful architecture from the early 20th century. It is a great location to go and visit some cultural sites like Pompei or Erculano, or climb the crater of the Vesuvio vulcano, as well as enjoying several rides along the coast, renting a boat to go to Capri, etc. The only downside was that most of the beaches are private and require entry fees, which is a bit frustrating.We will come back and we highly recommend the villa. The owner is a lovely lady who was of great support and kindness in our day every day life exploring the neighbourhood.

Stunning Villa, beautiful location

This was a family trip with 12 of us staying. The villa is large, bigger than it appears in the pictures easily accommodating all of us. The owner, Margi, is a gem very helpful, always available. The villa is accessed by a narrow windy road, but when you get there the car parking area is large and the view across the bay stunning. Highly recommend this property.

A wonderful place to stay!

The lovely Villa Margi 1080731 in Vico Equesne The description of this villa did not do justice to the beauty of this home. The view from the wrap around terrace is simply extraordinary.Every morning started with a view of Vesuvius and every evening ended with the sun setting over Ischia. Our group of 13 had plenty of room - the bedrooms, bathrooms, and large common rooms accommodated our group very well. The house upon arrival was spotless, shining, clean and welcoming. The owner was gracious and got us settled immediately. The nearby town had plenty of restaurants - we ate out twice and ordered out meals two other times. The villa was close (a 5 minute drive) to the train station. I would recommend this villa enthusiastically to others. It made our vacation perfect!

Beautiful Villa

Villa Margi is a fantastic place to spend a week. The Villa is clean, spacious, and comfortable. Our group (8) adults had plenty of room. The location of the villa is wonderful, very easy to drive to Pompeii, Amalfi Coast, Sorrento and Capri. Margi was extremely helpful and gracious. At our request she made us a delicious Italian Meal. served on the balcony overlooking the Sea.. We will definitely recommend Villa Margi to our friends.

Beautiful Villa, Fantastic location

We had two families and two mother-in-laws staying at Villa Margi. The house was beautiful, very clean and comfortable and afforded plenty of space for everyone. The views from the balconies were unbelievably beautiful. The location was perfect as it was a short car ride to Vico Equense, Castellemare di Stabie, Sorrento and Pompei. We also drove around to the Amalfi side which you can do in an hour. The beaches within walking distance of the Villa were beautiful, piccola and tranquilo. Not crowded at all (go late in the day for a discount at the Hotel Scrajo beach). We also took full advantage of the Oasi restaurant, whose parking lot leads you to the house. They had great sandwiches, pizza, vino alla spina and affetatti. The house had everything we needed, which is to say a lot for two families with young kids. It was very tempting to spend the entire day lounging at the house, on the balcony or in the sala with a cool glass of wine at hand. Grazie Mille Margi!

Delightful stay at Villa Margi

Dear Margi. Thank you for making our stay at the Villa so enjoyable. The Villa itself is in a magical setting. one-eighty degree view from the Vico-Sorrento cliffs, through a glimpse of Capri & the Gulf beyond, to Ischia, Naples, & majestic Vesuvius. Nothing like watching the sunset sipping a glass of 'falanghina'. Were it not for the mandatory sightseeing, we could have stayed at the Villa for the whole week. The Villa is in the perfect location to visit the surrounding sights. Vesuvius, Pompei, Caserta, Naples, and of course the Amalfi coast, (Positano & Ravello especially delightful). We found the accommodation exactly as described, elegantly furnished, spacious, and relaxing. Everything was spotlessly clean, and all mod-coms provided. Thanks for your help, and suggestions re where to eat and what to visit. We have been lauding it to all our friends, and hope to return in the not-too-distant future. Willy Carbonaro Malta

Superbe Villa, idéalement située, vue magnifique

Villa spacieuse, décorée avec goût, trés bien équipée, au calme, idéalement située entre le golfe de Naples et la côte Amalfitaine. Vue magnifique sur le golfe et le Vésuve. Hôtesse charmante, accueillante et de très bon conseil. Une adresse à recommander pour de très belles vacances !

un posto magnifico !

Abbiamo avuto il piacere di trascorrere il week end presso Villa Margi a Vico Equense. E' stata un'esperienza molto positiva che consigliamo a chi ama la natura e vuole rilassarsi. La signora Margi è una perfetta padrona di casa e ci ha fatto sentire del tutto a nostro agio. Quando, per arrivare a Villa Margi, abbiamo lasciato la Sorrentina, siamo stati negativamente colpiti dalla (per fortuna breve) strada sconnessa che conduce al cancello del parco che circonda Villa Margi. Tuttavia, una volta giunti a destinazione, siamo stati ripagati dalla vista di un incantevole paesaggio. Dalle terrazze esterne ed interne della villa si ammira un magnifico panorama sul golfo di Napoli; alle spalle della villa una rigogliosa, alta scogliera. La villa è arredata con molto buon gusto, le camere sono accoglienti, la biancheria è di ottima qualità. La finestra della nostra camera era a picco sul mare e, affacciandoci, abbiamo avuto la sensazione di essere su una grande nave. Inoltre la villa offre diversi angoli esterni da cui prendere il sole o rilassarsi. Siamo stati benissimo, nulla da eccepire per quanto riguarda il soggiorno, ma il parco condominiale ci è sembrato poco curato. Probabilmente questa sensazione è dovuta alla stagione autunnale ...... ci torneremo in primavera! Nota a margine: sulla strada sconnessa, di cui si parlava prima, c'è un locale dove si possono gustare i famosi "saltimbocca" che non hanno nulla a che vedere con i saltimbocca alla romana. Nel paese di Vico Equense ci sono piccoli negozi in cui si possono acquistare le specialità tipiche della zona

Una villa magnifica!

Ho avuto il piacere di passare un fine settimana da favola presso la suggestiva Villa Margi. Un'antica villa a picco sul mare, con un panorama mozzafiato, da cui, in particolare, si possono ammirare la maestosità del Vesuvio e la bellezza di Ischia e Procida all'orizzonte. La villa è dotata di ogni comfort, spaziosa e arredata con gusto. E' possibile rilassarsi in terrazza, magari con un tuffo in piscina e una bella grigliata di pesce al barbecue, o leggere un libro comodamente seduti lungo le magnifiche vetrate del soggiorno, che, di sera, permettono di godere del tramonto sul mare anche dall'interno! Le camere sono dotate di ogni comfort, spaziosissime, luminose e pulite. La disponibilità e la gentilezza della signora Margi ti fanno sentire subito a casa! Dalla Villa si può raggiungere a piedi un piccolo ristorante in cui è possibile mangiare gli originali saltimbocca (davvero speciali!). In pochi minuti si raggiunge Vico, una cittadina deliziosa, con le sue botteghe di prodotti tipici che si contraddistinguono per la cordialità dei commercianti. Villa Margi è un posto in cui sicuramente tornerò volentieri e che consiglio a tutti!

A fantastic villa with a beautiful view!

Four days were not enough to visit the beautiful Italian coast! We could have stayed a week! The villa is ideally located for visiting Naples, Pompeii, the island of Capri and the Amalfi coast. The villa is very big and beautifully decorated. It is high on a hillside with an amazing view of Naples and the Vesuvius volcano. We were a group of 10 and every couple had there own bathroom. Margi, the landlady, was very friendly and welcoming. She made sure that we had everything we needed. She also was happy to help us with advice for sightseeing. We can't wait to go back!

Un gioiello della penisola sorrentina

Sul promontorio che si affaccia su Vico Equense, a picco su un mare meraviglioso, esiste un gioiello d'altri tempi, fortunatamente disponibile per noi appassionati viaggiatori! È opportuno aprire l'elogio della struttura offerta con un ringraziamento alla proprietà, gentilissima, disponibile, trasmette tranquillità e sicurezza. La Villa è facilissima da raggiungere, posizionata strategicamente per effettuare le diverse escursioni possibili nella penisola sorrentina e nell'area storica/vesuviana. Panorama da mozzafiato, terrazze sicure anche per chi non è abituato alle altezze, giardini molto curati nella parte già aperta al pubblico. Gli interni della Villa e gli arredamenti sono molto spaziosi, curati e completi, adatti ad un soggiorno lungo e gradevole. Ottima la qualità della biancheria, dei letti e dei bagni. Ovviamente il tutto pulitissimo. Il salone centrale integra con armonia ed eleganza la terrazza principale, permettendo con qualsiasi condizione climatica il perfetto trattenimento degli ospiti. La cucina, particolarmente completa e funzionale, diventa persino luogo di ritrovo e divertimento per coloro che - come me - si dilettano con le pentole! E comunque bastano 3 minuti a piedi per raggiungere i ristoranti ai piedi della villa. La nuova piscina è più che sufficiente per rinfrescarsi e godere una giornata di sole in terrazza/giardino. Il viale di accesso è abbastanza comodo, anche tenendo presente la morfologia del territorio. In ogni caso adatto anche a minibus. Parcheggi grandi e adiacenti la Villa, comodi e sicuri. A qualche centinaia di metri dalla Villa vi è persino una fermata della Circumvesuviana, valida alternativa per gli spostamenti locali (Pompei/Ercolano, Sorrento/Capri, Vico Equense, Napoli). Alcune parti della struttura sono attualmente in ristrutturazione. I lavori però non influiscono assolutamente sulla qualità del soggiorno degli appartamenti disponibili. Concludendo, una esperienza da ripetere ed in ogni caso da consigliare a gruppi di amici di ogni nazionalità. Sono convinto che ognuno riuscirà a trovare il suo scorcio preferito a Villa Margi!

Our stay at Villa Margi - Excellent vacation

We really enjoyed our staying at Villa Margi. The villa is spacious, clean and comfortable. The area is nice. The weather was wonderful. The place for relax and lazing. We followed Maria's advice and visited Positano and Amalfi (that was amazing!). The only thing of disappointment was the beach (too many people, because of high season I guess). I would recommend it rather for autumn season, when it's not so hot and not so many vacationers.

Séjour parfait dans une Villa Margi exceptionnelle

La Villa Margi est un lieu absolument remarquable : située sur un promontoire, une grande terrasse avec vue à 180° sur la baie de Naples : le Vésuve et Naples sur la droite, la presqu’ile de Sorrente à gauche, les couchers de soleil au milieu…5 étoiles – inoubliable ! Un intérieur très spacieux pour notre famille de 9 personnes, confortable et bien équipé, avec une décoration très raffinée et de grande qualité (on se croit dans un film « Dolce Vita »). Si vous louez une voiture, prendre un modèle compact car l’accès est pentu, étroit et avec deux virages en épingle à cheveux. La vue sur la baie en altitude se mérite ! Un accueil très chaleureux et sympathique par la propriétaire (Margi) qui a été très prévenante et réactive à nos demandes. Franchement notre meilleure expérience de location de vacances à ce jour. Localisation idéale pour explorer la cote amalfitaine, la presqu’ile de Sorrente, Capri, le Vésuve et Pompéi... Plusieurs commerces de bouche et restaurants à Vico Equense…

Outstanding Property

Three of us stayed for a week at Villa Margi. The Villa is amazing! Lots of room, comfortable, and the views are unparalleled. We made day trips to Pompei, Sorrento, Positano and Capri. It was also nice to spend a quiet day enjoying the Villa and the pool. I highly recommend a private dinner prepared by Margi and her skillful staff. Margi is a lovely person. We enjoyed spending time with her, learning about her life and the area. We would definitely return! Ellen

Perfection near Sorrento

Our group of 7 just returned from a spectacular week at Villa Margi. We drove from Naples to the villa where we received a welcome from our lovely host, Margi. The drive up the hill from the main road was a bit challenging, but became easier with practice. The house is lovely -- elegant yet casual, with plenty of space to spread out together or be apart. The 4 bedrooms were all perfectly adequate with comfortable beds and typical European bathrooms (handheld showers & smallish shower stalls). We had plenty of hot water for our large group. The living room and dining room are enormous, with tons of windows and natural light, very high ceilings, and comfortable seating. The kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of dishware, silverware, glassware, cookware, etc., and there is a breakfast table as well. The patio areas are breathtaking. We spent most of our time relaxing outside and watching the boats go by. Sunsets every night were spectacular -- we couldn't bring ourselves to dine out in town as we didn't want to miss the sunset, so we cooked all of our dinners there. The patios have plenty of lounge chairs & regular patio chairs for quite a crowd. We didn't use the swimming pool, which is smaller than it looks in the photos, but certainly large enough to cool off and splash around on a hot day. Getting into Vico Equense was difficult without a car, so we are glad we rented one. The walk downhill and by road is pretty nerve wracking, as there is little sidewalk and lots of fast moving cars. There is a path above the house that takes you to Vico – It's about a 25 minute uphill + downhill walk. It was fine, but I wouldn't have wanted to do it every day or with groceries. I would definitely recommend renting a car. The drive from Naples was easy, and we stopped & visited Herculaneum along the way. The villa is in a perfect location for visiting nearby sites. We spent time in the next town over (Castellammare di Stabia), with a lovely harbor and many nice waterfront restaurants as well as a funicular to the top of Mount Faito. There are also very interesting ruins of Roman villas in town. We visited Scavi di Stabia which was very interesting and free to visit. We shopped at the LIDL grocery store there as well -- it is large and well stocked. As far as I'm concerned, there is nowhere better to stay on the Sorrento peninsula. Villa Margi is a gem, & should I find myself in that part of Italy in the future that's where I would want to stay.

Villa Margi

Just Wow! We were a group of 10 and were wowed from the moment we walked in, normally the photos of a place outweigh the place itself, but not Villa Margi, the place is as spectacular as the views. Like others have mentioned the villa is located up a steep windy road so a car or the taxi service that Alex provides is very useful, we used Alex many times and he was always on time and reasonable in price .Margi herself is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, we had Margi prepare two meals for us that even my Italian parents loved (it’s hard to please an Italian mother), I would highly recommend taking advantage of her cooking, grazie Margi:) We did take a day trip on a private boat to Capri but that was the only day we left the villa otherwise there are two beaches nearby that are handy for a dip in the ocean, which we did occasionally. The small plunge pool was so nice to have to cool off after a hot day in the sun.If I had to pick anything to improve upon it would be the showers, they tended to block easily so keep it brief in there, Margi did say that this was something that they would be updating soon. Alll in all we had a great stay and can’t wait to return:) Tony Solimeno

A Gem Found in Vico Equense

Villa Margi is a stunning villa with breathtaking views. Margi greeted us as we arrived and had us tour the house with her. A very comfortable spacious villa with all the amenities. However, we found that the wifi was weak in much of the house but we were able to get by. The plunge pool was a welcomed relief from the hot July weather. We did not rent a car as there were 7 of us so we relied on Alex Taxi service but be aware that he is not interested in short fares but rather longer fares to such places as Naples and Sorrento. Two of our family members rented motorbikes and ferried us to the charming town of Vico Equense. At times we would walk the mile and a half to town which was manageable. Beaches are nearby and enjoyable. Everyone in our party was thrilled with the villa and Margi and her daughter Maria were most helpful and considerate. We hope to return sometime in the future.

Fa tastic views

My friends and I stayed at Villa Margi for a 60th birthday. Communication was excellent from the start. The positives: the house was clean, views were amazing and Margi did a wonderful job communicating with us through Taxi Alex (amazing guy!!) We were a group of 11 staying at the property and while there is enough bedspace there was some confusion at checkin. One of the bedrooms is also the only entrance and exit and that caused a bit of confusion. We struggled with that door every day. Margi was a great host bringing us pastries the first morning and catering a wonderful dinner for the birthday girl. The place could do with some updates in the bathrooms and the pool really is small. We could not use the water on our last day which threw us a bit. Hot water in the master was a daily adventure Garbage situation was a bit confusing but we got the hang of it after day 1. Some suggestions to have that explained thouroughly at check in to avoid confusion and have toilet paper available in each bathroom. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this place.
