We welcome you to our apartment "The terrace on the Lake". 
It's easy to reach it from Lecco train station with bus n. 1 which leaves every 20 minutes. The stop is called "Chiuso" and it's the last stop of the line 1, so you can't miss the stop (just note that one bus each ten buses, it goes after Chiuso,in this case in the front of the bus won't be written "CHIUSO" but "VERCURAGO" and in this case just ask to the driver for "chiuso" and he will stop exactly in front of our building). Once getting out from the "chiuso" bus,about 40 meters from the stop on your left you will find the yellow building where the apartment is (3rd floor). The key is inside the safe, code 2710.

 In the fridge you will find cold drinks to refresh yourself after the journey,please take them,are for free.

We put some beers,some lemon teas and some "aperitivo".Some useful informations:. The dishwasher does not work:we disconnected it, we only use it to put clean plates and glasses. To better see the kitchen worktop you can turn on the light bulb located under the wall unit at the top between the stove and sink. The coffee capsules are of different types: blue (decaffeinated), red (espresso), brown (caffe macchiato), fuchsia (ginseg and coffee). The light for the terrace it's in the kitchen,on your left before going out to the terrace.

10 minutes of walk away and you reach the small beach on the shore of the Lake,you can swim there. Or if you like hiking,just behind the building and you get into the forest and find tens of paths where you can walk even for days (just ask if you're interested,we'll tell you everything about it)

If you need to go shopping always using the bus (any number at a distance of 3 stops there is the Conad supermarket that it's the highest in quality in Lecco,and very good prices (we suggest you the freshly baked cakes and focaccia there).

We called "Terrace on the Lake"because it's more a terrace than an apartment,it was built to enjoy the sun and the panorama. You can make solarium there,without anyone to look at you so in complete privacy,because it's at the top of the building. As view,you can enjoy from the front,the Lake,and moving your look to the right,you have in front of you the small town of Galbiate the place where Adriano Celentano lives(it's villa you can see it almost in front of you),then the first mountain that you see it's Monte Barro (it's a very unique mountain because,being the first mountain of the Alps,there's a meeting there between winds from the sea and winds from North Europe that create an unique microclima,there are flowers there that grow up only on that mountain and nowhere else in the world,as for example a special orchid. Then moving more on the right,you see far away the mountains over the lake that are the border with Switzerland,then more right the big mountains that are over Lecco,the last one it's "Grignetta",a mountain where Leonardo da Vinci often went during his summer holidays that he used to spend each year in our area.He described this mountains,and you can see part of it in many of his paints.(you can go there directly from the bus stop outside our flat:take the bus n.7 to "Resinelli" , it costs 2.5€, you'll arrive at 1300mt high,where it's always fresh even in summer,and the views are unforgettable). Another curiosity:the building it's built exactly on the wall that for more than 1000 years has been the border between the state of Milano and the state of Venezia,if you look from the terrace down,the old house in the other side of the road,you can see the remainings of that wall. Our terrace it's half in the Republic of Venice and half in the monarchy of Milan. The name itself of this place "chiuso" it means "locked" because it was the border place.
P.S on the terrace there is a yellow bin, here in Italy we use it for papers and other paper rubbish when we sort it out. Please use it too for the same purpose. Thank you
