Comodo e funzionale

Questo appartamento è stato per 5 giorni per me, mio marito ed una coppia di amici un'ottimo punto di appoggio per visitare la città. Infatti la posizione è ottima e consente di muoversi a piedi in ogni direzione ( vicini alla stazione di Sao Bento, alla Ribeira, a P.zza de Libertade ed al ponte per andare a Gaia) e ci sono bar, ristoranti e piccoli supermercatini vicinissimi. Credo sia stato ristrutturato di recente con buon gusto ed arredi nuovi. Dispone del necessario per cucinare piccoli pasti ed ha elettrodomestici di ottime marche (forno induzione , lavastoviglie , frigo, micronde). L'appartamento si è presentato pulitissimo e caldo. Le due camere non sono paragonabili essendo una senza finestra e con il bagno non in suite ma comunque con letti grandi e comodissimi. La terza camera è un soppalco e se si è in sei bisogna tenerne conto. L'accoglienza è stata buona e puntuale. Lo consiglio vivamente e se torneremo in una stagione migliore (ha piovuto quasi sempre) sarà questo il nostro appoggio in Porto.

Porto get away

Great location. For check-in, we did have to coordinate to meet at the property to obtain the keys-same at check-out. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. It is on the 2nd floor (3rd level) with no lift but this was not an issue for us.

Perfect location in Porto

Marc was a great host. Flexible on check in and check out. The location is perfect. Walkable to almost everything we wanted to see. Great little café across the street. Castro‘s Natas on the corner. Best we had. The apartment was well appointed and had everything we needed. We would come again.

Perfect location and very spacious

A lovely, spacious apartment in the ideal location for exploring all of Porto. Really comfortable beds and hot, powerful showers! We enjoyed coming back to this apartment after experiencing lots of rain in Porto, so it was very handy how close we were to everything.

Great location

We were very happy with our stay at this apartment in Porto. The manager was very communicative and helpful. The location is excellent. We were around the corner from a square with several excellent restaurants and entertainment. Below us we had a Pastel de Nata bakery that made delicious fresh pastries throughout the day and across the street was a tourism office where we were able to get tickets for the sightseeing bus. Super helpful. There is a small kitchen where we were able to have hot drinks in the morning but other than that, we really didn't eat in and there isn't a washing machine (which I am sure is noted in the listing and I just didn't notice), but we had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable and the water pressure and temperature were excellent.

Can’t beat the location. Uncomfortable beds. Lots of construction in the area. Apartment was clean and easy to find. Great shopping in the area with lots of good restaurants in the area.

Un très beau logement, très bien placé. Les communs sont aussi de très bonne facture.Les immeubles sont anciens, donc quand il y a des gens au dessus, on les entend marcher sur les vieux parquets qui grincent. Mais les gens de l'immeuble sont respecteux du calme.

Gorgeous location, really not clean

The location and architecture are perfect. There were dirty dishes, someone else’s bracelet on the bedroom floor when we arrived, toothpaste smeared on the bathroom wall. Carpets and upholstery really dirty. You get the idea. With new management this could be stellar. We did tell the host about all this within our first 24 hours. No effort made to rectify. We went out and bought new linens and towels.

Great location, not so great apartment

The apartment was not cleaned well. The kitchen was dirty, the apartment was so dusty that we had trouble with allergies. The dust under the couches was 1/4 " deep, the shag carpet was dirty, the couches were dingy and saggy. The batteries on the remote control were dead. The kitchen cutlery and glasses were the cheapest you can get and limited. The apartment has no privacy - this weird added loft space bedroom sits in the middle of the apartment for all to see. You can hear the slightest noise from every room. Not a pleasant stay at all. This is not a property that I could recommend to anyone. That being said, the location was great.

Excellent location

The apartment has everything you need. There’s local shops to pick up any food items you want. Beautiful pastry shop downstairs on the corner. You can reach so many things on foot because of how central you are. Check in and communication was really easy. Would highly recommend

Grand apartment in a great location

The location of this apartment cannot be beat, it is right in the midst of old town Porto in a grand old building. There is an elevator to the 3rd floor apartment that is handy when you have luggage or for those with mobility issues, though the very high step off the street into the common area of the building could be an issue. The apartment is beautiful and spacious with extra tall ceilings (18’?), and a cleverly designed kitchen, 2nd bath and 3rd bedroom loft. We were glad we didn’t need the loft bedroom as there is zero privacy in it and the railing on the steps to it were not very substantial should you need to rely on it. The other two bedrooms were very nice, including comfortable mattresses and attractive furnishings. The biggest drawback—and out of the owner’s control—is the noise from the tenant on the floor above, especially in the larger bedroom. We could hear every footstep and movement they made, which isn’t a problem during waking hours, but became more annoying as we tried to sleep and continued to hear lots of noise well into the wee hours of the morning from the floor above the back bedroom. Communication with the owner was fast and flexible, letting us drop off luggage early. We were passed about from the original contact person to two other people which was not ideal—but also not a problem, they were both responsible and did not let us down.

Beautiful apartment in Central Porto

The apartment was very spacious and nicely decorated. Really well located in the heart of the Ribeira, it was easy to get to trains, and other transportation. Lots of restaurants, and places to see. After all of the hills and stairs throughout the immediate area, the elevator was a real plus at the end of the day.

beautiful apartment in old town Porto

we had a great day at Marc's beautiful apartment, it was nicely appointed iwith tall ceilings and very quiet. The master bedroom had a king bed, which was great and not easy to find in Europe. located right in the center of old town, one block from the main Street -super convenient.

Misleading advertising

Great location! The add says “parking available “ but it is 2 blocks away and cost us 174euros for a 3 day stay! Absolutely ridiculous! The woman that met us was very nice but we had no water and had to wait an hour for her to figure out how to turn it on. It also advertises that both bedrooms come with full bathrooms and AC but the 2nd room has no AC and the bathroom is probably 20-30 feet down the hall! Very disappointing! In terms of cleanliness it wasn’t overly dirty but the floors definitely could have used a vacuuming! Nothing major but overall disappointing!

This location was ideal with easy access to most sights. The rental was well laid out but needing a bit for repairs on doors and cabinets. Overall very good!

Nice location

Super appartement, close to everything that you can walk pretty much anywhere. Nice tall ceilings which makes the appartement feel bigger. Perfect for a family and the elevator is a nice to have with luggages and kids! Try the pizza at Bella Mia not far from the appartement, very quick and very good! Would definitely stay here again if back in porto, which is a wonderful city! Thanks!

Location location location

This was an ideal place to stay on our first time to Porto. We could basically walk to all the major places to visit, including across the river to the Port houses. A/C was great as it was hot when we were there. Lots of great restaurants also within walking distance. Hosts were very prompt with a few minor things we needed as well. Thank you!
