Nuovo! Ora in affitto ma non più di 4 settimane quest'anno. Vista Lago, ex Hotel Larius, è stato costruito all'inizio del secolo scorso. Molto recentemente l'edificio è stato completamente ristrutturato, con particolare attenzione alle rifiniture e dettagli architettonici della sua epoca. Una piscina coperta, un'area fitness e un parcheggio sotterraneo custodito sono stati aggiunti ai motivi, così come l'ascensore diretto all'appartamento.

Quasi tutto l'appartamento è nuovo. Bella teak e mattonelle di marmo dalle cave italiane coprono i pavimenti. Tutti gli arredi, elettrodomestici, biancheria e stoviglie sono anche nuovo, pronto per il tuo divertimento.

Layout: al piano superiore (quarto) di un bellissimo edificio recintato, Vista Lago è un appartamento con 3 camere da letto che consiste in una camera da letto con due camere da letto (6 posti letto), cucina completa e 2 bagni, con una camera singola / studio adiacente ( dormire 2) con la propria cucina privata, bagno e ingresso-- perfetto per l'Au-Pair! In totale, lo spazio è 1.400 piedi quadrati o 135+ metri quadrati.

L'area con due camere da letto presenta una grande cucina gourmet aperta con isola centrale, una zona giorno con un divano letto doppio e due balconi, una zona pranzo, un tavolo in vetro per otto persone, due camere da letto (con letto matrimoniale e doppio), ciascuno con balconi con vista sull'acqua e due bagni con piastrelle di marmo. (La camera principale ha un bagno privato.) Un seggiolone e culla sono disponibili su richiesta.

Il monolocale / 1 camera da letto offre una spettacolare vista sul lago e un balcone dalla zona giorno / notte, dotata di un divano letto matrimoniale, un tavolo da pranzo per quattro persone, una cucina e un bagno piastrellato in marmo.

Location: "Vista Lago", si trova nella città vecchia, di Carate Urio, sulla sponda occidentale del lago, ricco di ville residenziali, si trova in una spettacolare posizione panoramica su una bellissima pista di fronte al lago, uno dei più eleganti e parti romantiche dove il sole brilla in acqua (spesso volte riflettono sul soffitto!).

Lago di Como è un'oasi-gioiello di tranquillità, circondati da una magica combinazione di lussureggiante vegetazione mediterranea e vette alpine innevate. Racchiuso da montagne scoscese, le acque blu del lago di Como hanno per secoli hanno attirato i visitatori, tra cui importanti statisti, artisti e glitterati.

Il lago rimane un parco giochi di oggi, non solo per i ricchi e famosi, ma anche per chi fugge maggiore di Milano e la valle del fiume Po, a meno di un'ora di distanza. Guidando verso sud lungo il lago da "Vista Lago", si trovano splendide ville incorniciate da un paesaggio mozzafiato.

Passerete Cernobbio, con la sorprendente Villa d'Este, prima di arrivare a Como, una città magica con vivaci mercati, caffè e negozi, e bei musei.

Traveling nord si trova S. Moritz (Svizzera) a circa 1-1 / 2 ore di auto, Davos (Svizzera) 1-3 / 4 ore di auto, e S. Primo, Bobbio, Artavaggio (Italia) sono solo circa 45 minuti di auto. S. Bernardino e Ticino (Svizzera) a circa 1 ora di auto. Cervinia (ITA) è 1. 30 da lì ...

Come raggiungerci: Arrivati a Aeroporto di Milano-Malpensa, da terminale si può viaggiare in bus a Como in 40 minuti, poi viaggi in nave o bus di nuovo a Carate Urio (E $ 2/4), dove (Appx $ 12 / E11). 'Vista Lago' si trova. Una macchina può essere assunto / affittato dall'aeroporto di Malpensa. (Appx. E120) L'unità è di circa 40-45 minuti.

Amazing family vacation

The property is in a fantastic location and close to restaurants and local cafe. Almost all rooms have access to a balcony with breathtaking views of Lake Como. There is plenty of space and access to an indoor pool and outdoor sunning terrace. In addition, the location provides easy access for a walk in lake swim. The local assistant, Manuela, made the check in process simple and provided great restaurant and experience recommendations. Our family enjoyed our time together and we hope to return soon!

Magical Escape

We absolutely loved our time here. Barbara and Manuela were super helpful. Gorgeous apt, amazing views, very comfortable. Surrounding area peaceful and breathtaking. The space was well laid out for a family of four, with two kids and grandparents. The pool was perfect for the kids. You can jump in the lake from a few access pts across the street or down the road. We all loved doing that! The kitchen was well stocked.

Lake Como - Carate Urio

The view of Lake Como from this lodging is breathtaking!!! We really enjoyed the stay. We rent a SUV and were very grateful that there were 2 parking spaces. The host, Manuela was very patient and waiting for our late arrival. Her recommendations of the nearby restaurants are awesome! We loved La Locanda! Check in and out process is very easy. The place is quiet, safe and easy to get in and out. However, you do need a car to get to the public ferry stations (e.g., Cadenabbia) and large supermarket unless you hire private boating services. If you are not driving a very small car, I suggest not taking via Santa Marta to get to this lodging as GPS indicated, but taking SS34 north and then Via Vecchia Regina back to Carate Urio. Also, you will pass George Clooney's Villa! Locals will tell you all about him. We used public Ferry from Cadenabbia to cross the lake to Bellagio and Varenna. Go early especially during the weekend. Although this lodging is a little pricey to us, it is worthy for us!

Fabulous Lake Como Experience

My family stayed for two weeks. We loved the property and the location in Carate Urio. We got to know the surroundings of this beautiful town on Lake Como. The property is absolutely as beautiful as presented in the VRBO photos. The views from every room are breathtaking and five balconies are very unique to have. There were four excellent, very different restaurants within walking distance, all with lovely settings on the lake. One was literally next door with outdoor seating on the lake as well as street and indoor seating. There was also a great cafe for coffee and pastries in walking distance and a tiny little food store up a steep switchback road. Manuela is absolutely the best, most responsive Property Manager we could hope for. She made check-in and check-out so easy. The Wi-Fi is excellent and Netflix, Prime and AppleTV were all available. The pool and exercise room delighted family members. We had two parking spaces inside the garage which doesn’t seem like a big deal until you see how hard it is to get parking on the street. It only took 22 minutes to drive into Como, and 11minutes to get to Argegno where you can get the ferry to Varenna, or Bellagio or Tremezzo and more. You really need a car to maximize your outings. While the C10 and C20 buses run pass the villa to desirable destinations, the schedule is virtually impossible to decipher especially if you don’t speak Italian. And they never ran on time and they didn’t run often in September.

Nice Apt with breathtaking view

This is a very nice place to stay if you are looking for an apartment. There was one air conditioner in the dining room . There was also a fan. The bottle of wine given as a gift for our stay was appreciated. Plenty of space and the view was stunning.

Perfect location for us!

Carate Urio is a quieter location on Lake Como. The ferry is approx one kilometre away, the bus stops outside the door. If you choose to have a quiet day in the local neighbourhood, turn left and walk the one kilometre to the butcher shop/cafe. You’ll need to pass George’s place. Or turn right 400m to a bar/cafe, a grocery store and a good restaurant. But no need to travel that far - right next door is a great restaurant/pizza place. We throughly enjoyed our two week stay. The views from the apartment are truly amazing.

Great Neighborhood

You really feel like you're in an Italian Lake Como neighborhood here, and not in some tourist spot. All the eateries/restaurants are fantastic. Boat tour businesses are close by, too. The ferry is a short 15 min walk away, where there are also fantastic bars/restaurants. Owner/Manager were easy to communicate with. Place was clean. Beautiful views and spacious. Would definitely recommend people stay here.

Lovely appartment on a fantastic location

clean apartment with magnificent view on to lake Como. We also loved the location as it is a very quiet area - however, you can easily find a buzz in either Laglio or Carate. If you go in summertime, just keep in mind that the apartment on the top floor and has no airco - it gets hot - just enjoy the breeze from the lake ;-)

Magnifico

Everything was perfect! Smooth taxi transfer from airport to be met by the lovely Manuela and shown around the apartment. Fabulous views and everything you need is provided. The location is very convenient for old and young legs. We ate at the local Osteria immediately opposite on 3 occasions and highly recommend it along with Hotel Fioroni a short walk away. We picked up our first mornings groceries from the local shop and had coffee and cake at the cafe next door. We will definitely be visiting again, availability permitting! Living like a local with incredible lake views!

Vista Lago is a fabulous 2 bedroom apartment with the most incredible Lake Como views. I stayed for 2 weeks, living like a local on the Lake. The apartment complex was quiet and very comfortable. Gated, underground parking felt very secure. The unit was outfitted with everything you would need to move on in for an extended stay. Comfy beds and a washer dryer in the unit! Within 24 hours I was zipping around the small windy streets with confidence. I visited a different city every day both my ferry and car. Favorite city was Varenna by ferry, very quaint. Favorite villa was Balbianello, recommend the hike in, lovely! Favorite bar for a cocktail... the recently remodeled Grand Tremezzo! Very posh and hip! BEST MEAL EVER just down the street at La Veranda Hotel Postal. GO OFTEN! Try everything! Did I mention the views from the apartment!!! Morning, day, and nights... so very very lovely!!!

Perfect for a family reunion

This condo provided the perfect site for a joint celebration of two wedding anniversaries. Our party of 8 was comfortably settled in the main apartment and adjoining studio, although the bathroom of the latter was rather small. The kitchen was well-equipped and the property is very clean and well-maintained. The location offered several choices by way of local cafes and restaurants although most groceries require a short drive to a well-stocked store in Cernobbio. The walk to the local ferry stop was at least 15 minutes down a very narrow street but we quickly adapted to the need to avoid local cars and buses on this journey. The ferry schedule is rather daunting when you first encounter it but the local agents are most helpful in explaining the options. The balcony settings offered glorious views of the lake and surrounding environment. Silvana, our greeter and caretaker, provided an excellent introduction to the property and she also served as a knowledgeable guide through Villa del Balbianello during our visit there, which was a highlight of our trip. We also really enjoyed the trip to Pigra, a small mountaintop village above Argegnothat is reached by a small funicular, described as "one of the steepest cablecars in Europe". And the visit to Bellagio, of course, is not to be missed. We particularly enjoyed the tour of Villa Melzi, a short walk from the town center there

Wonderful Lake Como Experience

Had the BEST week vacation at Barbara's Villa. I am definitely returning with my best friend and 2 daughters!! It was the absolute perfect accommodations for my husband and I and his 5 students as they all attended a conference in the area. We rented the 2 bedroom unit as well as the studio suite. Mornings and evenings were breathtaking on the balcony and it was easy to get into the local spirit. Sylvana was wonderful and a huge help getting settled. Next time in the area I am planning on hiring her husband for tours in the area.

Wonderful time in the Italian Alps and Lake Como

Barbara's home was a great treat. In a very private building, her unit had everything we could possibly want for a vacation. The area was incredibly spectactular and we had plenty of room and a wonderful time! We hope to visit again soon. We brought our family of 5 and had a great time. It would a beautiful place to go as a couple as well. The views are awesome! I would really recommend a trip to Belaggio while you arestaying there. Many fine cafe's close by and an easy day trip to Switzerland.

Vista Lago is a wonderful...

Vista Lago is a wonderful apartment in a ideal location. It is just a five minute walk to George Clooney’s Villa Orleander (on the Lake side behind a large iron gate - to avoid arguing which house it is with your companion) The apartment is fully furnished with everything you will need to enjoy your stay. Several great restaurants within walking distance and the boats are just a 15 minute walk. I suggest taking both the boats and the bus. On the nice days, take the boat.Be sure to do the tour with Silvana of the private villa, the highlight of the trip.

My family and I spent two...

My family and I spent two glorious weeks at Vista Lago this past September. We rented the two bedroom as well as the studio next door, and both accommodations were well suited to our needs. The decor in both units was lovely and comfortable with all the amenities at our disposal. The views were spectacular from every vantage point, and we spent many hours taking in the majesty of it all. There is lots to explore around the lake and although the ferry provides good service, I would highly recommend renting a car. In all, it was a spectacular vacation and our family looks forward to future stays at Vista Lago.

I came to Vista Lago with...

I came to Vista Lago with my husband, two small children and mother-in-law. We were very comfortable in the apartment. The place was beautiful as were the views. The restaurant next door was great, and we could walk to a small grocery store that met our needs. It was peaceful to be there and a great vacation! I can highly recommend the apartment and the area.

We had a wonderful stay a...

We had a wonderful stay at Vista Lago in May 2009. The views of Lake Como are quite breathtaking and the afternoon entertainment with the locals fishiong on the lake is worth sitting for a while. The restaurant next door makes great pizzas.

Dear Barbara, I had a great time in Italy, thanks to the beautiful studio apartment with the breathtaking view of lake Como, and very easy access through ferry services and trains to all towns around the lake and Milan. Thank you for all accomodations provided, I am looking forward to going back there again. I already recommended the studio to my colleagues and friends. Thank you again. Larisa

We spent two weeks in B...

We spent two weeks in Barbara's apartment. Her descriptions of the villa were true to her word. It was very clean and comfortable. The views were what she had promised. The care package she sends prior to arrival was helpful . We dined at most of the restaurants that she suggested and found them to be wonderful. Silvana was there to greet us and answer any initial questions. A cell phone is made available for your use. I would suggest asking for lots of time due to the fact the house phone has a block. I would also suggest a car rental. The ferries were really the way to travel but the stops in Urio were not as frequent.

I rented the studio at Vi...

I rented the studio at Vista Lago in June 2009. The location, right on Lake Como, could not be better. Also, I had a car and the underground parking was great. Studio has a great view over the lake, clean and reasonably well supplied. There were a couple of items lacking which I mentioned to Barbara, and I am sure she go right on them. Her staff person, Silvana, was excellent. Overall, a splendid experience. I happily recommend the studio for people who like independent living. I got to shop locally, made breakfast in every day and then took off from this amazing location.

I have had close exposure to this lovely location with a friend many years ago, and truly was astounded by the areas beauty. I had done quite a bit of research on the area to know that this was a place that I would love down the line for a wonderful retirement, or simply to spend time at during my holiday periods. I was thrilled to find this location, and was the first to choose from all of the apartments available within the building, the full selection, ultimately the one that had the very best lake position and views, and greatest number of balconies.

The apartments are bright and sunny, and you will often see the reflection of the water on the ceilings. You may often feel that you are on the water... as when you look outside, you see only the lake from all of the windows! You are only a short walk to a boat stop, that can take you anywhere on the lake, and just outside you can catch a bus into town, or the train station, just a 15 minutes away! There is a swimming pool, a beautiful patio, overlooking the lake that you can enjoy, and numerous restaurants with outdoor cafes on the waters edge, within a short distance.
