Mi è piaciuto: Check-in, comunicazione, accuratezza dell’annuncio
Non mi è piaciuto: Pulizia e posizione
Good for non-families of adventurers
We stayed at "Villa Rosa" for the last 2 weeks of August and booked blind, since there were no reviews.
Pros
* The house is right on a small port. It's nice to walk around, and in the morning fishers sell you fish for very low prices
* The house if very close to the beach. You cross the bridge of the port and you are there (on the "prima spiaggia" beach)
Cons:
* The house is unclean and old. We had ant invasions every time we left even a candy out of the fridge
* Full of wasps: the vicinity with the port (and fish) means there is a large number of wasps around. At times, we couldn't eat outside in the morning, since we were constantly bothered by wasps.
* The evening noise was unbearable with a kid. During the night people would shout around, teenagers would pump music at high volumes and the restaurant in front of the house makes all kind of noises. The noise party goes on until 1:00 or 2:00 in the night. Also there is not much we could do, since we were the only house on a very busy street. We had to suck it up and wait to sleep (often woken in the middle of the night by all sort of noises).
* It's true that the beach is very close. But bear in mind that it is closer to the busiest beach of porto pino ("prima spiaggia"). It was a nightmare to book at the closest beach club (we wanted a beach club since we have a baby), especially during the week-end.
All-in-all
If you look for adventure, and you don't care about noise, insects or cleanliness, it's the place for you. We had a family, and wanted something definitely more quiet and clean.
