.La Struttura si trova a 15 minuti dall'aeroporto principale (Olbia) in costa nord-orientale della Sardegna più luogo spettacolare e desiderabile, letteralmente di fronte alle isole di parco nazionale Tavolara e Molara. Proprio sopra la famosa roccia di 'La Tartaruga' [la tartaruga] con le spiagge più belle proprio sotto.

La casa è uno dei primi costruiti in quella zona, ma da allora è stato ristrutturato e rinnovato, che ancora conserva il suo fascino incontaminato e 360 gradi vista.

Per raggiungere la casa dal villaggio più vicino di Monte Petrosu, che ha ristoranti e mercati, è necessario guidare 2 km su una strada sterrata e attraverso un cancello privato, una volta che ci si è in paradiso. Si tratta di una comunità privata con spiagge private.

La spiaggia più vicina si trova sotto casa a soli 2 minuti a piedi che vi porta al incontaminate spiagge di sabbia bianca e calette di granito scolpite fenomenici della natura.

Vista mozzafiato: La struttura si trova in una delle più belle e spettacolari macchie di Nord costa orientale della Sardina, proprio di fronte alle isole di Tavolara e Molara, che sono un santuario della fauna selvatica e di un vasto parco nazionale marino protetto.

Sardinian Paradise

Two couples spent 8 nights at Cala Girgolu and we loved our time there. Communication with the host was seamless and he gave us numerous suggestions of restaurants and places to visit. We arrived later than expected but the housekeeper was great and helped us find the house as it is a little remote and it was dark. The open air feeling of the house was wonderful especially the outdoor living room. The patio looking over the sea was outstanding as was the property with lots of places to explore. It is a short walk to a lovely beach and the water is clear and beautiful. I highly recommend this rental for a family or two to three couples as there is also a small cottage.

A space of peace and tranquillity

Our stay at Cala Girgolu exceeded all expectations. It was a privilege to share a home and not just another vacation listing, to explore the incredible nature reserve the house is situated in, discovering secluded coves and trails and swimming in crystal clear water. The closest beach is just a few minutes away on a quiet footpath, early morning and evening swims soon became part of our routine. I could not have wished for a better place to celebrate my birthday with close family and friends. The sunsets and early mornings on the terrace are breathtaking. As you enter the house you feel that you are part of a home, there are tasteful artistic touches everywhere, from traditional Sardinian touches to a playful and quirky use of spaces like the outdoor room where you can take an afternoon nap. The kitchen is very well equipped and appreciated, we loved to cook our own meals and spend time preparing food together. Communication with our host was seamless, we appreciated his responsiveness and enthusiasm, as well as the kindness and help from the caretaker. If you’re looking for holiday in a beautiful and peaceful space, set in a private nature reserve then this is the place for you. Thanks to our hosts for sharing a very special home with us, we’d love to come back one day.

Sehr schoener Ort. Unterkunft eher eng fuer 6 Personen.

Wunderschoene und zu Fuss erkundbare Felsenkueste mit kleinen Sandbuchten 2 Min. vom Haus. Sehr schoene Aussicht vom Haus. Die Lage macht vieles wett. Musste sie auch. Probleme wenn es regnet: * Haus ist eng fuer 6 Personen, speziell zum Essen. * Check-in wurde bei dem starken Regen sehr knapp gehalten. Es wurde uns nicht alles erklaert (z.B. dass die Waschmaschine draussen steht - zudem lief und piepte die Maschine noch als ich sie dann fand). * Es kam Wasser ins Haus bei einem Fenster. Haben wird gemeldet. * Kissen und Sofas im gedeckten Aussenbereich werden nass und unbrauchbar. * Die off-road Strasse wird ausgewaschen und recht schwierig zu befahren. Der Besitzer empfiehlt auch klar einen Gelaendewagen. Wir schafften es trotzdem mit unserem Peugeot 807. In einem (zufaellig?) nicht abgeschlossenen Verschlag hatte es eine Schaufel, mit der ich die Strasse ein bisschen nachbessern konnte. Auch nach dem Regen ueber 6 schoene Tage hin: * Haus blieb feucht, so dass die Waesche schlecht trocknete. * Das Nebenhaus blieb sehr feucht, so dass das Bett sich am Abend unangenehm feucht anfuehlte. Einmal fiel das Wasser im Haus aus, wurde aber am gleichen Abend geflickt. Der Garten wirkte etwas lieblos und es lag recht viel Abfall herum. Es dauert im Okt bis um 10 Uhr morgens bis die Sonne auf die Terrasse scheint. Dafuer hat man am Abend bis zum Sonnenuntergang Sonne. Dafuer: Checkout war sehr unkompliziert und wir konnten so lange bleiben, wie wir wollten.

Fantastic Seaview!

Nice house with 2 bedrooms and a fantastic terrace with a breathtaking view onto bay. Important to know: the last 2 miles of the drive to the house are really difficult (dirt road) and not made for all cars.

Eine Traumbucht

Das Haus überblickt eine fantastische Bucht in der Nähe der Tavolara, das Wasser ist sehr geschützt und ruhig. Auf der Terasse kann man Abends ewig sitzen, den Ausblick und die Ruhe geniessen. Die Anfahrt ist etwas holprig, zu tief sollte das Auto nicht liegen, das Haus selber ist sehr schön, einige Dinge sind schon eine Weile in Gebrauch. Bei Problemen waren die Ansprechpartner extrem hilfreich und haben sofort reagiert, vielen Dank. Wir haben unseren, schon zweiten Aufenthalt, wieder extrem genossen.

Sassi Piatti, Spiaggia delle Vacche - alles zu Fuss erreichbar

Eine wunderschöne Lage. Traumhafte kleine Buchten mit kristalklaren Wasser. Ein Geländewagen wäre von Vorteil. Eine tolle erholsame ruhige Woche.

Well kept, beautiful location, helpful caretakers, great hints from owners regarding Marco & markets

An amazing experience. Cannot imagine a better location for our family! Two boys, 5 and 10 as well as my wife and I. Access to the beach, to a great community, close to local markets. Able to cook there or go out as we liked. We got checkout time wrong, owners and caretakers still gracious and helpful! We hope to return to Sardinia in future, and this place tops list of where to return to if ever we can manage it again. Truly a vacation of a lifetime. Ocean clearer than most pools, access so easy, and the place true to all its photos. Thankful we found this gem and had the opportunity to be there.

Un pregio (la posizione e la terrazza panoramica), tanti difetti (struttura e dotazioni mal tenute)

La casa si trova in una posizione splendida e la terrazza è davvero unica, ma la struttura avrebbe urgente bisogno di una radicale ristrutturazione, in particolare la dependance. Acqua non potabile, dotazioni di biancheria insufficienti e mal tenute, oltre a numerosi altri problemi.. Simona

Spectacular location

We truly enjoyed a 2-week family vacation at this charming villa in a magnificent location. In particular the terrace offers fantastic panoramic ocean view that not many places can live up to. A small, nice beach is very close by and several other fantastic beaches within walking distance. A car is recommended since the nearest supermarkets are a few kilometres away. The road leading to the property is quite bumpy so don't take your Porsche. The small guest house is OK, but does not have the same standard as the main house. The property has lots of character, it gives you the feeling that you were staying at a friend's house. Thank you Pietro for a fantastic vacation!

Stunning location

Absolutely loved our stay here. The property is delightful - traditional and quirky. The view from the terrace is one which will stay with me a lifetime. The little beach is located at the bottom of about 45 steps plus a short pathway and again is amazingly beautiful and quiet. The property is located up a long unmade road so a bigger vehicle would be advisable. The restaurants are about a 5 minute or more drive away so the property is best for those who like to cook for themselves (like us) or who don’t want the odd glass of wine with their meal. Would we go back - yes - in a shot!

Little Paradise with a georgeous view from the terrace

We had a wonderful stay at the house. It is a little paradise and also for kids very exciting due to the hidden corners on the ground and little beach (snorkeling, climbing on the rocks). Most impressive is the large terrace with the wonderful view over the sea. The house (including guest house) and rooms are small but ok. We were 4 adults and 4 kids. Only the heat without any climate control and the moskitos were a bit anoying. The communication with Pietro was very good and his tips excellent. We recommend the restaurants "Marco" or "12.1" at the beach of Porto Taverna and the boat trip with Marco. It is really worth it. Also a walk to the next spiaggia Sassi Piatti is nice. One thing to mention: The private road to the house is a bit bumpy. We will come again.

Great Location and a very relaxing holiday

A comfortable character cottage in an enviable setting amongst the pines trees with exceptional views and not overlooked. Well maintained, clean and well equipped with new high-end appliances and recently refurbished bathrooms. The house has a very homely feel with books and pictures and is nothing like so many dull rental properties with the usual 6 cups, 6 plates etc scenario. Great communication with Pietro throughout the booking process and it was lovely to meet him and his family at the property at the start of our stay. The clean small beach below the property is accessed via a number of steps and across a quiet narrow 'no through' private road which services a few properties below the cottage. We were a party of 3 adults and 3 young children ages 8, 5 and 2. Even in high season the area is quiet, particularly at night which aided a very restful sleep. Perhaps one thing to consider is the number of steps / levels around the property if you are infirm or have young toddlers; having said that, we managed fine with our 2 year old. Overall a great 'No shoes / no news' relaxing holiday and we hope to return.

Gorgeous views of the sunset

My wife and I heard about how beautiful Sardinia was and decided to visit to see the pristine waters and beaches - we were not disappointed! Pietro was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for the duration of our stay. The location of the house was amazing, which made for gorgeous views of the sunset over the Mediterranean and the village private beach was literally just steps away from the house. The house itself was well kept and clean, and all had necessary appliances in working order. We were so happy during our stay, but very sad to leave! We would love to come back here with our kids.

A House in Paradise!

I flew from New York directly to Sardinia to celebrate my birthday with my friends. The house is perfectly located next to the magical, crystal water. The view from the house is incredible. The hosts organized everything perfectly for our arrival. It was one of the best vacations I've had and I will surely be back. Viva la Sardegna!

Big dissapointment

We booked the house for 16 days in May and were very much looking forward to spend a romantic time there with the two of us. As it turned out the overall experience was very disappointing and we left half-way through our trip. What is good about the house is the location. Absolutely stunning view and the wider area is gorgeous too. What was very disturbing is that right next door a house is being constructed. The hammering started at 7.30! and went on till 16.30. The owners knew about this as they had just been there themselves but did not notify us of the construction noise. Very misleading. The house itself is very basic and simple which is fine with us. the furnishing is old and especially the bed needs to be replaced. What is not fine is that the owners must be heavy smokers as they house smells very intensely. The smoke smell is very strong in the bedding, quite disgusting really. Again there was no warning on the website or in the direct communication with the owners beforehand that this is a smokers house. We would never have considered renting it. Other that that the house was reasonably clean except there was no toiletpaper. Not great if you arrive in the late evening with no amenities nearby! These sort of unwelcoming signs were everywhere. No diswasher detergent, no washing powder. one set of towels for 16 days! etc. Overall not very welcoming hosts and as it turned out quite rude as well. . The local caretaker does not speak any English. She is lovely but with all the issues we had we had no way to communicate our concerns other than emailing the owners in New York. Until this day they never replied to our emails. Interesting way of treating your customers. Our overall recommendation is DO go to Sardinia. It is paradise. After we left this property we found a great place to stay and had a wonderful time. But DO NOT go to this place. Don't be tempted by the pictures, you will be disappointed,

Sauber, gepflegt, ruhig, top Lage und Aussicht, sympathische Besitzer, einfach gute Atmosphäre für entspannte Ferien! Sehr empfehlenswert.
