We had a great time in this exceptional villa. Walking distance to the beach with plenty of seafood restaurants. Kids absolutely loved the pool - especially the hot tub. Great place to spend a few days in the autumn!

Everything about the property was to my liking. It was exactly what I was looking for. A Italian home with a Italian feel. Vittorio checked me and my family in. Vittorio welcomed us, he showed us details about the property and even had a restaurant that was about to close wait for us , we landed late night and where hungry. Thanks again Vittorio, can’t wait to return next year.

Great pool and location

Overall a great stay. Great communication and support from the owner who was very responsive. Pool is perfect, and the outside has sun all day. Nice big table for outside eating. 5 min walk to the beach and multiple restaurants. Two great double bedrooms. Nice bathrooms. Two bedrooms with bunk and twin bed which are fairly small. And a 5th room which in my opinion is not usable as bedroom due to lack of proper window and air con. Kitchen functional but small. Overall needs some updating of things like mattresses, pillows, kitchenware and I would have to liked beach towels to be provided. Overall a great base for a family holiday.

Gorgeous villa near the beach!

Good local amenities, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. We experienced excellent communication with Vittorio during our stay. The only hiccup noted is limited public transportation/ taxi service from the town itself however Vittorio kindly helped us navigate. Overall we all had a pleasant stay!

Underbart familjehus!

Härligt hus nära havet, med egen pool och relaxområde i trädgården. Vi hade en fantastisk vecka där vi både njöt av sol och bad och kunde ta oss till Rom och uppleva pulsen i den fantastiska staden! Vi fick tips om en jättemysig lokal restaurang där vi firade min mans 50-års Dag, med jättegod middag! Vittorio svarade alltid snabbt och hjälpsamt på alla frågor! Perfekt hus att njuta med familjen i lugn och ro, men ändå nära till Rom! Kan varmt rekommendera att hyra här!!

Très jolie villa en bord de mer

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans la propriété de Vittorio et Federica Accueil très aimable et très réactif. La villa est spacieuse, la piscine est absolument superbe et nous avons également passé de bonnes soirées autour du baby-foot. La maison est à environ une heure de Rome par bus et train, et 45 mns en voiture (un bon plan : se garer au parking Via Giulia). Les plages de Fregene sont essentiellement des plages privées, où on peut louer transats et parasols et profiter d'une mer agréable (sans trop de monde la semaine où nous y étions). Une toute petite remarque qui ne gâche en rien le séjour : nous aurions aimé que la cuisine soit un peu plus équipée en plats et saladiers pour les repas du soir pris sur la terrasse abritée. Nous recommandons chaudement cette location.

Great Villa near the beach!

I can't say enough about this property. We really enjoyed it! We are a family of 9 adults and the space was excellent. The fifth bedroom is very small and has no AC though. The villa was immaculate; Vittoria was very attentive. We had a small issue the second day and he had it fixed immediately. The pool and the grounds were very well maintained. There is a nice lemon tree overhanging the pool. It is well stocked with everything you may need for your vacation (except ice!) The villa is in Fregene, one block from the ocean. The beaches are beautiful and a nice change from the tourist attractions in Rome. There are many restaurants and beaches within walking distance, although we had a van for the week. It is about a 30-35 minute drive into Rome, depending on the traffic. There is public transportation nearby. The villa has AC in the Bedrooms but not in any of the common areas. It was very hot the week we were in Rome and we could have used more AC. I highly recommend this villa!

Beautiful Villa and Great Holiday

When we arrived at the Villa, Vittorio and Federica were on hand and ran through everything with us, first impressions were how nice the Villa was. The location was perfect for us as a family, close to the local restaraunts and sea. The Villa was roomy and spacious for the 6 of us (5 adults and 1 child) the pool and surrounding poolside area was fantastic and caught the sun from dawn til dusk The front room was spacious and had a good sized L-Shaped sofa. We had some small issues during our stay with the electricity turning off during the night, which then caused the alarm on the house to go of at 0530 on two days waking the whole house and neighbours (Vittorio sent someone as soon as possible to fix the issue). The list for what is included needs to be updated as there was no Hot Tub or SateliteTV, however, upon request Vittorio supplied the Foosball table. Overall we had an amazing holiday and absolutely loved the property and the pool, we would have no issue in receommeding the property. Thank you Vittorio and Federica for a lovely holday :-)

Loved our stay!

Vittorio is the best! Met us upon arrival, gave us a tour and instructions. The property was nice and we loved the pool. Close to the beach. Rome is only a short drive away. Then he met us for our departure even though we left very early!! We would stay here again!!

Perfect Villa

We were 7 of us plus baby. The Villa was perfect for us with everything we needed. The pool is a very good size and even in September was a very good temperature for a baby’s first dip. The Villa provided everything we needed, most importantly functioning air conditioning in all the bedrooms. The location is great, in a quiet street but just a couple of minutes walk to the beach. For the older members of the group it was easy to get into Rome by train which we did on a couple of days. Federica and Vittorio were very helpful and always available. All of us thought it was a great place to stay,

Villa vid strandpromenaden i Fregene

Här bor du bra! 3 minuters promenad ner till havet, med Beach-Clubs, restauranger och cafeer. Härligt hus med bra utrymmen både inne och ute, mycket fin pool och välskött trädgård. 10 minuter till Stationen Maccarese, varifrån du når Roms centrala delar på en halvtimme. Massor av bra restauranger, barer och caféer i närheten! Testa Ravar8tto glassbar på Castellamare, samt Pizzeria BBQ på samma gata. Färsk skaldjur och fisk är bra på Il Mastino nere vid stranden, men det finns även många andra bra ställen för detta. Cyklar finns att låna, och nere vid strandpromenaden finns en mycket fin cykelväg. Fint bemötande av värdarna. Rekommenderas för en vistelse vid havet nära Rom!

Large, clean, convenient and lovely

The hosts Vittorio and Federica are helpful and lovely, too! They met us promptly at the house upon our arrival and came promptly for our departure. We called them a couple of times for advice and they were helpful with tips on restaurants and activities. The Villa garden and pool are clean and a relaxing place. I think the pool boy came to clean the pool every day but he came early and quietly, so we did not see him, but the pool was always clean. The Villa is only one block back from the beach. There are many restaurants and food stores nearby. Inside, the living room is spacious and has an "L" shaped couch and coffee table as well as another table with four chairs. There is good wifi. The living room downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs have flat screen TVs with all the channels. The dining room has a large table that can sit at least 10 people, probably a few more. The kitchen has a dishwasher, a 5 burner stove, an oven, a large refrigerator and freezer, an espresso maker, a tea kettle, a microwave, and the pots and pans and utensils needed to cook. The is a clothes washing machine in the kitchen. There were plates and serving dishes. One thing is maybe more and bigger drinking glasses - but maybe that's just us being so American! Also downstairs is a small, but full bath with shower and a small bedroom with one twin bed. Upstairs, the master bedroom had a full, comfortable bed, lots of closets, a TV as I mentioned and a full en-suite bath with double sinks and shower and bidet and airconditioning. The second large bedroom upstairs has another full bed, TV, and many closets, but I could not get the air conditioner to work in this room. There is extra storage in closets in the hall. There is a full hall bath with double sink, shower and bidet.The third bedroom has two twin beds, an air conditioner, TV and a balcony. The fourth bedroom upstairs has bunk twin beds and another twin bed so fits 3 people, and also has a balcony. Pros: Lots of space for large family gatherings, well equipped, comfortable, clean, TVs in most rooms, good wifi, beautiful pool and garden, gated entry and parking space, safe and secure, very close to beach and restaurants and to the train to Rome (about 30 minutes to Rome), wonderful hosts Cons: Maybe not enough air conditioning for Americans, but enough to sleep comfortaby, could have more dishes, glasses and silverware for large gathering to eat, need mosquito repellent -this is true for all of Fregene, I think

Fantastic property

The house was amazing, and ticked all the boxes: - large and clean with everything you would need (kitchen with everything and 3 bathrooms..) - quite a decent size pool, with varying depth for different level swimmers - great area, few minutes walk to the beach ( great seafood restaurants) about 5mn drive to supermarket(can be walked), 10mn drive to the station of Maccarese (18mn to Rome) - hosts that have been available for information and helpful I would rent this house again if I was to come back in the area without hesitation.

Fabulous home in ideal location.

We had a fantastic week at this home. There were 9 of us in the group, 5 adults and 4 children. There was plenty of room for everyone. The children had a blast in the pool. This house had everything that we needed. It is a great neighborhood, one block from the beach. The owners were fantastic and available for any questions. We shopped at local supermarket and cooked a lot of meals at the house. When we got the kids to bed my husband and I were able to go to the restaurants along the beach and have some drinks and enjoy the music and great atmosphere. Our favorite restaurant was Controvento. Great food and great service. Right on the beach....amazing! This is a great location with the train station in Fregene. We were able to take the train right into Rome to do our sightseeing, but had the best of both worlds for the days we just wanted to stay home and swim in the pool or hit the beach. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends. We have only been home a week and we already miss it! Thank you Vittorio and Federica!

Beautiful villa with excellent location

We were looking to celebrate my wife's birthday with several visitors arriving in Rome at different times, so easy accessibility to Fiumicino airport was a major priority. We were exceptionally fortunate to find such a beautiful villa with this convenient location. The outside area, as can be seen from the photos, contains a good-sized private pool, and is meticulously maintained. The main room of the villa is also very stylish, but given the summer time of our stay, we did not need to use it much. There are four bedrooms upstairs, one en-suite, and three with a balcony. Downstairs there is a small bedroom and an adjacent bathroom. Everything was in excellent condition. Our host, Vittorio, dealt with any minor problems very rapidly. But there were not many! The villa is a just a block away from a cafe serving coffee etc., and a short walk to the sea-front bathing establishments, some of which have fish restaurants. The sea itself is easily accessible: most of the Fregene sea-front is occupied by concessions, which is fine if you want to stay the whole day by the sea. But one of the few public access points is very close to the villa. The villa has its own single parking place behind the gate, but there is plenty of parking space on the street outside if you have more than one car. Overall. this is an excellent villa, and we would love to stay there again!

vacanze di sogno

La villa è situata in un quartiere residenziale veramente tranquillo, circondato da una vegetazione lussureggiante, ideale per chi ama andare in bicicletta. La casa è arredata con gusto, le camere matrimoniali sono spaziose, ed è ideale per il soggiorno di due famiglie. Il nono posto letto è adeguato solamente per un bambino.Il giardino è molto curato e la manutenzione della piscina è fatta regolarmente I padroni di casa sono veramente gentili e disponibili ad indicare le attrazioni locali. Gli stabilimenti balneari sono vicini e raggiungibili in cinque minuti a piedi. Numerosi sono i ristoranti in riva al mare che meritano una degustazione. Consiglio vivamente questo soggiorno
