Quiet and spacious poolside cottage, detached, on private property with its own bathroom, kitchenette, access, washer/dryer. Saltwater pool and spa, large shared yard (owner lives on site in main house) Fireplace, wi-fi, king size bed, large space. Brand new Beautyrest Silver mattress, sheets, towels, etc. Pool is heated from April through November. It can be heated for your stay by request for an extra fee. ** To be clear, this not a public pool. It is a private pool but please know that the pool and jacuzzi are shared with other property guests and the owner’s family in the main house.

Cozy and Quiet

The property was just as described. Very easy checkin with detailed descriptions of how everything worked. It was so peaceful inside or outside by the pool. The location was perfect for us while we were in the area. Close to everything we were doing. We would definitely recommend this property.

Glendale retreat

Wonderful property near Brand Park. The property is beautiful, and the pool and patio is a private oasis. The inside space is very comfortable, clean and has everything one could need. The host is available for every question we had and very kind.

Amazing 10/10

Would recommend & stay again. Check in/out process was easy, the owner was nice, the guest (dog) cooper was adorable, and the place was awesome!! I tried the hot tub & it was pretty simple as well.

An AMAZING little cottage

This place is amazing. The location, the aesthetics are beautiful. Check in process was easy. It’s laid out in the app and also on pages when you arrive. I can’t wait to come back to LA, this is definitely where I’ll be staying!

Perfect Little Hideaway

I absolutely loved the space! The pool house is warm and welcoming and easy to make yourself feel at home. The pool and hot tub are perfect! The neighborhood is quiet and you feel safe in the area. And the host is very nice if you happen to run into him!

Perfect little getaway

My partner and I chose this spot as a little honeymoon getaway. The location is absolutely perfect and quiet, but still close to all the main tourist attractions! The host was easy to communicate with about our early check in and he was quick to fix any issues. The added addition of the friendly co-host Cooper was lovely and made us miss our own Cooper a little less! The place was lovely and we'd definitely recommend staying here!

Serene spot in the perfect neighborhood

I don’t have enough room on this review to describe how perfect this spot was. Steven is a gracious host and the cottage was exactly what we hoped for. Cozy, inviting, and a quiet escape from the busy and exciting energy of LA. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful neighborhood and good location for LA outings

This cottage is located at the back of a long, narrow lot with the main house on the street end. Beautiful property and landscaping and were wowed by the pool and hot tub. We arrived shortly after 4pm check in time and housekeeping was still in the cottage cleaning, which was awkward and a little irritating as we just drove almost 4 hours from Sequoia NP. The cottage was clean with basics supplied. Large smart TV, couch and fireplace -very cozy. Recommend an additional mirror, full length would be appreciated! I understood from the listing the home owner/family may use the pool but didn't think they actually would if there were guests in the cottage. Learned once there, that there is also a rental in the main house plus the owner/family, and all could be using the pool/hot tub, which are located right outside of the door to the cottage! There is no privacy between the cottage and the main house either so still felt uncomfortable being out at the pool. Several men walking around in the backyard one day. I value my privacy too much, would not choose to stay again. Met the host on our way out as we were checking out. I appreciated that he came out; not as communicative as other hosts pre-stay. Cooper, the co-host dog, was wonderful. He came to check on us a couple of times and treats for him are provided in the cottage (I also brought some from home for him :)

Beautiful Setting

Stayed at the property for a few days celebrating my birthday and visiting our daughter. As many have commented, the neighborhood is wonderful and the property setting is beautiful. The cottage itself provides everything you’ll need and is essentially a guest home on the hosts property. However, do not hesitate to book, Steven (the host) has excellent communication and is readily available to tend to any issues and to assure that you are taken care. Cooper his co-host, adds a friendly charm to stay and loves his treats!

Lovely poolside cottage.

Looked exactly as the picture. All accomodations listed were there. The host was very nice and easy to reach/communicate with. Check in process was very simple. It was a very nice area close to attractions like Universal and Hollywood Walk of Fame. Loved it. Pool was beautiful. The only issue was my sister and I struggled to understand how to work the washer/dryer. We had to contact the host and he responded right away! Would recommend.

Peaceful Retreat

Exceptional property, kind host

I booked this stay for my husband to have a quiet and peaceful space to study for a licensing exam for a few days. Small kiddos at home means it’s not the best for focus. The space was amazing and the host was so responsive and kind. I visited with the kids a few times, the pool was gorgeous and the pool area was beautiful and so fun. My husband found the pool house perfect, equipped with everything you’d need. It was quiet and peaceful, comfortable and the location was perfect as well! Quiet residential neighborhood but also very easy to get into popular parts of LA and minutes from Griffith park, the LA zoo and other points of interest.

I was born, raised, and STILL live in Glendale, CA at 53 years old. My dream is to live somewhere else before I die. I vacation in exotic locations like Burbank and Pasadena, just to get away from it all. Seriously, I'm a nice guy, engineer and civil servant, who wants to make a little extra $ hosting and meeting some neat people from places elsewhere. It's a great neighborhood and a neat place that isn't close- but isn't far- from pretty much anywhere in LA. Photo coming!
