Business travelers set up for a comfortable medium term visit while being indispensable to their company. Global vacationers seeking month long summer holiday. More recently, guests have leaned into comfy mode due to proximity to hospitals and medical offices. This property provides a flexible base for many. An experienced host who will absolutely welcome VRBO guests with genuine care of an old school joie de vive (remember the early days of str) mixed with the new standard of quality hospitality. Eclectic flair of vintage & beach zen curated over the years personalizes the extra bit of size and volume here. I would love to share my sunset drenched space with a brand new set of guests soon. Capture your own snapshot of Santa Monica's sunset from my Great Room. The 10' tall windows allow the seasonal dusk colors to bathe the space in amazing hues. The SouthWest facing windows are large canvases of SoCal's statuesque palm trees as well. Throughout the year nature's beauty shines in to say "hello". Blessed to share this view with you.

My guests have come from Austria, China, England and more recently, Pittsburgh, St Louis, Chicago, New York and San Francisco; they are business owners, executives and technical trouble shooters in the entertainment, finance, hospitality and tech industries. This wide spectrum of guests enjoy the quiet of a neighborhood & serene spaces (for a city) yet being minutes away from the hubbub of DTSM (DownTown Santa Monica). They've been a joy to host and get to know so I'm looking forward to YOU being my next guest. CHEERS!

Favorite part of location? I’m in residential neighborhood. Its still a city but not in the middle of commercial district. Ninety-five percent of the time, it’s darn quiet. Magnolia and palm tree lined street provides shade to joggers, cyclist and dog walkers. Walking distance to famous Santa Monica Beach & Farmers Market as well as our many multicultural restaurants, boutiques, yoga & fitness, and of course American movies and foreign film houses. As close and convenient as 7 (walking) minutes away is the hum of The Promenade, The Pier and Palisades Park's stunning beach views. My C3POhs :) Nerdy? Yes!

Great location- very convenient!

Very pleasant apartment in a convenient location. Could use a ceiling fan in the bedroom, since it is on the 3rd floor and the building does not have A/C. Also the apartment is on the back corner of the Building so it is right on the alleys, which can be a bit noisy at times. Apart from that it is a very spacious and light space, just as pictured!

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

My guests are snowbirds who want a break from the cold and snow with their sights on living like a native Santa Monican :) Millennials and Boomers enjoy a clean and modern feel. Internationalists and domestic vacationers stay multiple weeks and months for
the comforts of home. We cater to the annual stays of repeat guests (make your reservations early). I'm thankful for their visits and they are reciprocated with pleasant hospitality. The Promenade, Montana Avenue, beaches are within a short walk - neighborhood eateries and entertainment abound. Our twice a week Farmers Market provides a European style of shopping for goodies for foodies. A 1200 square foot place, while not house size, there's personality and a bit of style that edges most in the area. We're located in a residential area where my neighbors walk their pets, work out and do errands. The unit itself is quiet (not country quiet since we're in a city after all), on the top floor with sunset views. Santa Monica is a beach city and we're so close to downtown and The Santa Monica Pier. ENJOY!

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

This place spoke to me as soon as I saw the tall ceiling in the Great Room. Open sky views that I hadn't seen from any other property in the city really sealed it. I discovered the great sunsets from all of my windows afterwards and walkability to pretty much everything essential and extras - reminded me of living back home in my old neighborhood on the East Coast. My West Coast place is way better IMO. Anyway, I hope my guests feel the same way and share in my blessings.
