NEW LISTING for 2025! TREASURE CHEST: We are Saturday to Saturday 7-night rental. Semi-oceanfront (1 lot back) from the ocean with steps to the boardwalk to the beach. Welcome to Hatteras Island down NC Hwy 12 (NC 12) in Waves, NC. TREASURE CHEST features four bedrooms with two King bedrooms, a Queen bedroom and a Pyramid Bunk and Single Bed for the little pirates - Ahoy! Full linens including sheets (WITH BEDS MADE), bath towels, hand towels and washcloths provided May thru October. The first floor features the Queen master bedroom with adjoining bathroom; the second floor has two bedrooms -- a king master bedroom and a little pirates room that share a full hall bathroom with shower and tub. Both bedrooms have slider doors to an oceanside deck. On the next landing you'll find another king master bedroom with an adjoining bathroom. Each bedroom includes a Roku Smart TV. TREASURE CHEST features a well-appointed kitchen with a breakfast bar and dining area with slider door to an ocean side screened lighted porch with large table and seating. The great room includes a 56" Roku smart TV and the seating area facing the ocean for dolphin, boat, and kiteboarding watching. Step out another slider door to the upper ocean side large deck with plenty of seating with sites seeing the Atlantic ocean AND the Pamlico sound. Up a few more steps from the great room, you can escape to the loft with a wet bar featuring and bar-height table and chairs for playing cards, games, puzzles or to just reminisce. Loft area also has sofa and love seat - a great spot for readers too. Treasure Chest also has a LUGGAGE LIFT to assist with bringing up luggage and groceries.

TREASURE CHEST is located on a large corner lot and has a beautiful large 13' x 25' private pool (heat available with extra cost) with Gazebo, Tiki Bar, and pool loungers with site lighting making evening swims perfect for stargazing and splashing. The pool area also includes a 6-person hot tub to relax in. Use the outdoor shower to rinse off the sand when returning from the beach. The house provides a covered charcoal grill area and a lighted fishing station with sink and water. TREASURE CHEST has a large sandy volleyball court exclusive to the house to entertain yourselves with "serving" up some fun or bring your cornhole boards to sink your toes in the sand while tossing the bags. Hello! My husband and I are from Virginia. We personally love visiting the Outer Banks. We always seem to run into people we know or meet the nicest people visiting the area. We enjoy walking on the beach, driving our jeep on the beach (with ORV permit) - @ Recreation.gov - visiting the Day Use Area in Salvo (sound side), visiting Ocracoke by ferry, site seeing the shops, restaurants, fishing piers and lighthouses. My husband also enjoys the offshore fishing!

We love the Outer Banks and the special and unique character of Hatteras Island in Waves, NC. Our house is located in the Tri-Villages of Hatteras Island (Rodanthe, Waves and Salvo). We are located in the St. Waves Community off of Highway 12 on a quiet street with beautiful ocean views and just steps to the neighborhood boardwalk to the beach. Our house is a corner lot with plenty of space and privacy.

boards also and sink your toes in the sand while throwing those bean bags.

* Property convenient to visiting the many various milepost ORV beach ramps (with
ORV permit) for the 4-WD vehicles.
* Property convenient to visiting three of the OBX lighthouses: Bodie Island, Cape

NOTE: This property has a pool that can be heated for $600 with advanced request. Pool heat is set for 80 degrees, but pool temperature cannot be guaranteed.
