We planned a vacation in Manhattan and booked a VRBO in the upper east side. Unfortunately, two days before our trip, we were informed that the unit had a plumbing problem and our stay was canceled. We were able to find this unit (pricier, but not ridiculously so). Nick was very helpful and communicated well. We were lucky to find this place.About the apartment. It is actually located in the financial district, near Wall Street. The building is super nice and feels very safe. You can tell it's in the high rent district! We were on the 20th floor with a nice view of surrounding buildings. It's not really a one bedroom as there are no walls separating the sleeping area from the rest of the unit. The kitchen is very nice as is the bathroom (though small). Overall, a very nice apartment. The listing: For some reason, the listing shows the unit near Times Square. It is NOT there. As I said, it's in the financial district near Wall Street. This isn't really where we wanted to be, but there's a subway station just a couple blocks away, so it was OK. Also, as I said, the unit is not a one bedroom. It's a studio. That said, we had no trouble sleeping four adults. It was quite roomy. We did have one issue during our stay. On our second day in the city, we could not get into the apartment because the battery in the lock had died. This was a pain, but Nick handled it quickly and it ended up only being about a half an hour wait. All in all, a great experience!
