Nel bel mezzo di tutto questo, ma lontano da tutto ... Elk Meadow Cottage è il migliore di entrambi i mondi. La nostra casa si trova a soli 5 miglia dalla I-40 e confina su 3 lati dalla Kaibab National Forest, offrendoti privacy, pace e tranquillità. Eppure, è anche convenientemente situato a soli 20 minuti da Flagstaff e Williams / Polar Express, e poco più di un'ora dal Grand Canyon e Sedona! C'è molto da fare e da vedere in Northern Arizona e l'Elk Meadow Cottage è la base perfetta per le tue avventure.

Il nostro cottage è ben arredato, ha lenzuola nuove, di alta qualità, ed è tenuto in perfette condizioni. Abbiamo anche molte attività all'aria aperta divertenti, tra cui un'amaca, una zipline, una linea allentata, altalena e ferri di cavallo.

La camera da letto principale dispone di un letto king size e un bagno annesso con vasca idromassaggio. Al piano superiore ci sono altre 3 camere da letto più un 2 ° bagno completo. I bambini adorano dormire e giocare nello spazio invitante del loft.

Posizione perfetta per il tuo campo base per tutte le attrazioni e le meraviglie naturali che l'Arizona del Nord ha da offrire. Accesso al Grand Canyon, Sedona, Slide Rock Park, Polar Express e North Pole Experience, Ferrovia del Grand Canyon, 5 laghi da pesca e numerosi campi da golf.

Rilassati davanti al caminetto con un libro o goditi uno dei tanti film e giochi adatti alle famiglie. BBQ e cenare sul ponte sotto i pini. Fresca, fresca e profumata aria di montagna in questo ambiente boscoso nella foresta di Kaibab Nat'l a 7500 piedi. La casa si trova in una zona nota per la vista della fauna selvatica, vista sulle cime di San Francisco, e l'accesso a chilometri e chilometri di escursioni / mountain bike / piste di sci di fondo.

Forest retreat

Cabin was perfect, location was ideal. Family enjoyed the hammock the most. The kids enjoyed the hide-away loft the most! Played poker every night with their poker set next to the indoor wood-burning fire place. Trail head right outside the gate took us to see deer, a stray calf, and antelope. Faulty bathroom sink faux-door that fell on my toe and couldn’t get the living room DVD player to work were the only cons! Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Family Home

This house is amazing for a family with kids. The house included many movies, games, indoor and outdoor games and activities, and the loft is a great place for kids to hang out. The amenities in the house are very well-labeled and abundant. The items provided are above and beyond other houses where I’ve stayed. The seating in the living room and dining area match the number of sleeping spaces. We had an amazing time. Thank you!!

Perfect family getaway!

We had the best time! The house had tons of room for everyone to sleep, lots of board games, DVDs to watch, bird watching supplies, journals, and a bath tub with jets! My favorite thing about it though, was the wrap around patio. We drank cocoa and coffee and watched the snow fall. It was beautiful!

Great place!

The property is great, we had fun feeding birds and hiking in the area. Kids adored the loft, it is super cool! They were bummed about the Zipline being down but there were so many other things to do both inside and outside. Kitchen was awesome, made lots of food. Thanks so much for letting us experience your place!

Stay was good

The home is located very close to the main road, I could not determine that based on photos. The home is cozy and warm. All things needed were available and supplied. Some basic maintenance needs to be done to the home. We followed all rules but toilet on main floor kept backing up. Some trim baseboards were lose that need to be fixed and filter water faucet needs to be tightened just some minor things but all else was good.

Grand Canyon and Sedona hiking trip

Clean and comfortable, had everything we needed and more! Friendly and efficient communication with host, simple check-in and check-out. We so enjoyed our stay here - the cottage feels so warm and welcoming and had plenty of room for our group of 8. We loved the peaceful, secluded setting while just a short drive to Flagstaff and Williams and right at one hour to both Grand Canyon NP and Sedona hiking trails. The cottage has a well-appointed and organized kitchen to make cooking for a group easy, and has many thoughtful touches that made our stay so pleasant, like a kind friend had prepared a special place just for us. Thank you!

Great Retreat in Parks AZ

We really enjoyed the stay in your VRBO. We used this as our base for Elk season. It was perfect. Everything in the kitchen was marked well. It was well stocked with everything. Check in was very easy. We had some youngsters join us over the weekend. They loved the loft and thanks for all the activities/games/other thing to do. I would highly recommend this place. And will stay here on our next trip to Parks. Also, the flying squirrel that goes after the bird feeder is the best entertainment in town!

Great Place to Stay Near Grand Canyon for Big Groups!

We really enjoyed our stay here as a group of friends coming to relax, and see the Grand Canyon. It was very clean, nice big cozy rooms and beds, and a big open living room, kitchen and dining room area. We loved all the wildlife we got to see, and the fact that it was right next to a trailhead! had everything we needed, coffee, hot water, clean bathrooms, quiet, soft towels, and privacy for bigger groups. Will definitely have to come back again!!

Peace and Convenience, Perfect for Families

My husband and I took our 2yo son up to this wonderful cabin to escape the heat and celebrate his 2nd birthday. The moment we got there, there were Tonka trucks waiting on the front porch and we knew we picked the perfect spot! It is far enough away we had serenity and peace, but a quick drive to Williams and Flagstaff. The place was incredibly clean and well stocked. The upstairs loft was so fun and our son couldn’t get enough. The backyard is right next to a trail which we utilized several times. This is the perfect relaxing spot for anyone, but has many amenities, games, toys movies and space that a family would enjoy.

Perfect Escape

I stayed here with my two daughters, who are 17 and 5. My husband and two friends were hunting from a camp nearby, and they came to the cabin every few days to have a meal and hang out for a while. We absolutely loved this cabin and had a wonderful time. Things we loved: the kids' loft and playroom, the well-stocked kitchen, the items that were included - like paper goods , soap, and pantry items. We loved the responsiveness of our host Emily. We loved being able to walk right out of the yard and onto a hiking trail that went to beautiful places. The house was lovely and clean, and the owners have thought of so many details to make a stay nice. We really enjoyed it so much.

Great vacation home!

There was 8 of us with 4 teenagers and the house was plenty big with all the details you could think of. The WiFi is not great, but it forced the kids to hang out with us! The thoughtfulness of the owner to provide instructions for everything, games, everything you need in the kitchen, and bathrooms was so nice! We did a lot of driving and it was a great house to come back to!

Perfect place in the mountains.

My family and I stayed at this property because it was a perfect distance away from the Grand Canyon railway. I didn’t expect this property to be one of the best parts of our trip. My daughter is nine years old and was in awe from the minute we walked in. From the playroom downstairs, the loft and bunk bed with all the toys she could dream of, and to all the toys that were outside, it seems that everything was thought of. We were lucky enough to be there when it snowed and it was absolutely beautiful. My daughter had never experienced snow before and there were sleds and toys for her to use. It definitely created a core memory for her. The house was well labeled and instruction manual had pictures and were extremely clear. The only downfall was that that the Internet wasn’t great, but that’s to be expected when you were tucked away next to the mountains. We would definitely return and stay here again!

Everything you need for kids!

We had 4 adults, and 3 kids under 3 during our stay & had more than enough space for everyone! We forgot a couple of items for the kids but the cabin ended up having everything we needed (white noise machines, stools in the bathrooms). We didn’t even have to break out our own toys because the toy room was fully stocked. Check-in and check-out processes were super clear! Some other things that surprised us: WiFi works for browsing but not for streaming. Keurig is available with an option to add your own grounds. Firewood was provided. There’s a cool kids loft in one bedroom. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful Family Home

The house is beautiful especially with all the snow we got to be in and play in. Great for family with kids. Has a cute nook with toys for kids. Even a loft in the upstairs bedroom. Only 20 minutes to Bearizona & the Grand Canyon Deer Farm. Would definitely book again.

Hi :-) I grew up in Southern California, then lived in NYC for a few years (where I met my husband) before settling in Anthem, AZ and starting our family! My husband and I have lived in Anthem for 20 years and have four kids. The Flagstaff/Williams area is a perfect escape from the heat of the Valley during the summer, a gorgeous place to see the leaves changing in the Fall, and a wonderful place to experience a 'real winter' and give our kids a chance to sled and build snowmen!! :-)

This place is amazing! We fell in love the first time we saw it. The Parks area is the perfect location, halfway between Flagstaff and Williams. We love the feel of being in the forest rather than in a neighborhood. It really makes us feel like we are "getting away" :-)

One of my favorite things about the cottage is the 'Loft', which is a kid-sized play area above one of the upstairs bedrooms. It is such a unique and fun place!
