Very quiet and newly furnished, with direct access to the backyard of the beautiful villa garden, the studio has a private area to enjoy and relax outside with table and chairs just a few steps away from our brand new swimming-pool with view on the plane and mountains.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, hoven and fridge. there is a large bathroom with shower and bidet. The sofa bed can be prepared as double or in 2 separate beds.
it is perfect for a couple. it is located on the top floor of the villa, just beside our larger flat: many of our guests looking to have a third room or bathroom rent it together with the bigger property.
our villa is the perfect starting point to visit Piedmont and the area, with its beautiful historic locations (Savoy castles, churches and museums) or for sports lovers: skiing, rock climbing, cycling and many others.

molto tranquillo e curato nei particolari, con accesso diretto al giardino ed uno spazio privato per trascorrere del tempo fuori con tavolo e sedie a pochi passi dalla nuovissima piscina che gode di una meravigliosa vista sulle montagne e sulla pianura.

Relaxing and beautiful place to stay

Pinerolo is a pleasant town of no great architectural interest but with a good market and restaurants. There is also an Eataly just outside the town. The great advantage of Pinerolo is its proximity to Turin (good train service and other road connections) and to the Valle Pellice, Valle del Chisone and Valle del Po with the sources of the Po river. Not to be missed is the mountain tour by car we did from Pinerolo-Avigliana-Bussoleno-Susa-Excilles (interesting fort)-Cesana Torinese-Sestriere-Plan-Fenestrelle (must see incredible fort) and back to Pinerolo. Towns such as Saluzzo, Cuneo etc. are also worth a visit. The flat itself is a self-contained, fully equipped and very nicely furnished and is on the top floor of a villa dating back to the early 2oth century. The flat has its own small roof terrace which is below the swimming pool. The villa is in a large garden of over 3000sqm above the rooftops of Pinerolo. Really beautiful surroundings and very, very quiet. A wonderful place to relax and stay. The family are very hospitable (especially the dog and the grandfather who is also resident). In all we can recommend the flat to all who want a quiet relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings with Turin and the mountains (to over 3800 meters) near. We will come again!

A small paradise for vacation sans soucis.

We had a very relaxing week at Villa le Ortensie. The hosts Pia and Luigi really cared about every detail to make our stay at their villa enjoyable. As we travelled without a car, Luigi was eager to help us around for shopping and brought us to the train station at the end of our stay. The apartment was provided with everything for a comfortable stay, spotlessly clean, with windows overlooking the garden. A newly built swimming pool is a perfect extra for hot summer days. One can take a sunbath with a spectacular panoramic view over the town of Pinerolo and the mountains all around. The local market on Wed and Sat has an unexpectedly rich offer for such a small town, with lots of local products and affordable prices. We would like to thank Pia and Luigi for our tranquille and carefree vacations at Villa le Ortensie!

Accueil chaleureux, villa exceptionnelle

Un endroit magnifique avec une vue exceptionnelle de la piscine. Les hôtes sont adorables et toujours là pour aider ou donner des conseils, le chien qui vit avec eux est très gentil et aime beaucoup les enfants. L'appartement était très propre avec mobilier et finitions de haute qualité. La terrasse privative était la cerise sur le gâteau. Nous reviendrons certainement en plus grand comité :)

Week End magnifico, un sogno !!!

Arriviamo a Pinerolo, sulla collina che domina la città ed entriamo nel cancello di questa splendida Villa. Da rimanere a bocca aperta per la struttura, gli alberi di magnolie fioriti e le ortensie giganti. I proprietari ci vengono incontro gentilissimi e ci accompagnano al ns appartamento che si trova al 3 piano di questa villa d'epoca (al primo e al secondo piano vivono loro). Ci sono due appartamenti al terzo piano uno più piccolo con un soggiorno con due letti, una cucina nuovissima dotata di tutto ed un grande bagno con doccia, più terrazzino con accesso diretto alla magnifica piscina da cui si vede tutto il panorama, l'altro grande una vera e propria reggia con ogni confort che può ospitare fino a 6 persone, con salone, due stanze da letto di cui una gigantesca due bagni e cucina. entrambi gli appartamenti sono ristrutturati e dotati di tutto. io e la mia fidanzata abbiamo soggiornato in quello piccolo che per due persone è comunque perfetto. la piscina non è grandissima , ad occhio direi 7/8 metri di lunghezza ma consente di rilassarsi in assoluta tranquillità. La sensazione che si ha è quella di stare a casa propria. I due proprietari sono assolutamente discreti e se non li cerchi non li vedi fino al momento della partenza. Il centro storico di Pinerolo è a 10 minuti a piedi dalla villa. Consigliatissimo per chi vuole trascorrere un week end di totale relax , immerso nel verde, all'interno di una struttura tenuta come un castello d'altri tempi. adattissimo per coppie e per famiglie con bambini.

Paradise

For us the stay in the Villa was like a stay in paradise. Especially the beautiful view from the terrace where we had our breakfast everyday. Higher up, at the swimmingpool it was even better. The garden is so colourful and kept very well. The appartment is small, but cosy and everything needed was available. Luigi was very helpfull, since we did nit came by car, he helped us around for shopping and picking us up at the trainstation. Hope to come back!

Long term stay in one bedroom apartment

We rented an unhurried, sunny and clean apartment in the second floor at Villa Carlotta in Pinerolo for long term. The Villa is family owned and is located in a quite environment on the hill at the city limits from Pinerolo and can be easily reached by car, where you will find a parking space just in front of the house. Without car, you can walk to the town in rd. about 10 min. or take the bus with the number 5 and the ticket costs € 1,50 per ride and person. Because we are traveling without car, the owner was so kind and picked us up from Pinerolo center for free and at the end of our stay he and his wife brought us to the train station. Another big surprise was, to receive from this family to Christmas an Italian white wine and a fruit cake. The apartment is on the top floor of the Villa and got a nice modernization with IKEA furniture. For your night sleep you have the couch in the living room and an additional bed is available for a second person. The kitchen is equipped with nice dishes, a washing machine and a dishwasher. For reading lovers you find in the kitchen - shelf books in the Italian language. To sit outside there is a patio with direct access to the stairs to the new build outdoor swimming pool, where you can watch and listen to the birds. All rooms are well flooded with day light and in all rooms are enough sockets for your need. Every week we got absolutely clean fresh towels and bed linen served from the nice housekeeper Silvana. I won't forget to name the owners friendly dog Sam, who protects this property very well. One disadvantage I have to mention. The one room apartment has everywhere modern heating bodies, but yourself you have no influence on the room temperature - it is controlled by the owner, so it happens to us, that the room temperature was between 19,6 degrees and dropped to 14 degrees at the end of our stay. We didn't complain, because our renting was coming to an end. One attraction you shouldn't miss. On Piazella de St. Maurizio, 3 minutes walk from the Villa, you find the beautiful Basilica di San Maurizio from 1078 AD, where you can enjoy the service on Saturday 05pm and on Sunday 10.30.am or just visit the church and in the backyard the chapel.

Nice little appartment in a dream setting

Situated on the top floor,(44 steps!) of an impressive 19th century villa, surrounded by a very well kept and lush garden. One more flight of stairs up the hill lies a perfect little pool, from where one gets stunning views of the picturesque Pinerolo, Torino, the surrounding plane and the remote Alps.

Pinerolo in the mountains

The apartment is situated close to the city centre. After a climb of 48 steps, which is so good for your condition, you arrive in a cosy, well furnitured studio. The two seperate beds slept comforably, and we cooked almost every day in the well-equiped kitchen, with free herbs and tomatoes from the owners garden. Beautiful tiles in the bathroom with shower and small bath. Nice to sit outside on the terrace, and about twenty steps up a lovely swimming pool, with breathe taking view.

Perfect Italian Villa

We were surprised by the amazing, beautiful Italian villa! The gardens were perfectly kept. We felt like we’re in a paradies. We loved the pool so much! Especially the view was incredible! The owners were very friendly as well. They gifted us some freshly harvested tomatoes from the garden, which where the best we had so far! The apartment in the villa was modern and very clean. The terrace was only for us, which was great for breakfasts in the morning or dining in the evening. We felt like we’re at home.

Fantastisk

Meget hjælpsom og venlig vært. Fantastisk beliggenhed. Ugenert terrasse. Meget flot bolig. Meget anbefalelsesværdig. Eneste problem var, at Homeaway ikke havde sendt en præcis adresse, så det var lidt svært at finde. Heldigvis løste det sig nemt, med en opringning til værten.

Très bon séjour

La villa le Ortensie di Carlotta est un lieu magnifique où il fait bon séjourner et se reposer. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, le studio que nous occupions très agréable. Nous avons découvert Pinerolo durant ses festivités estivales. Nous espérons retourner découvrir le jardin en pleine floraison pour pouvoir apprécier encore plus la beauté des lieux ! Beautiful apartment with great view over Pinerolo.

A verry nice area and the house is beautifull with the surrounding gardens! The apartment is verry nice and clean! The owners are verry nice and helpfull. Prima schone en goed uitgeruste accommodatie! Zeer vriendelijke behulpzame familie! Geschikt voor 1 max 2 personen. Rustige omgeving in de buurt van Turijn met veel bezienswaardigheden.
