La cabina del nonno è stata restaurata con cura per il comfort e il legame familiare. Tronchi restaurati autentici, arredamento magnifico, con 4 letti Queen di qualità, ampio bagno con doccia, piccola cucina, divano in pelle, tavolo antico con sedie / panca, zone pranzo interne / esterne, grande terrazza e cortile con casetta in legno. Barbecue, pozzo del fuoco, sul torrente. Due letti matrimoniali al piano superiore nel soppalco, uno dietro le scale al piano principale e un letto al piano principale nella zona giorno accanto alla stufa con fuoco nella finestra. Bagno al piano principale. Animali tuttofare addomesticati e selvaggi. Cavalli e cani amano l'attenzione e le prelibatezze. TV / DVD / via cavo, WiFi se desiderato, bella vista su prati, montagne .. Altre cabine e lodge sulla proprietà. Grandi ricongiungimenti familiari a sole coppie alloggiate.

Allontanati da tutto, rilassati, passeggiate di giorno.

Situato nelle montagne vicino al Parco di Yellowstone. La nostra strada si collega al vecchio sentiero Yellowstone sul fiume Yellowstone. Ci vogliono 20-30 minuti per raggiungere Gardiner e parcheggiare la capanna via hwy 89 o Old Yellowstone Trail, (14 miglia in totale da Gardiner). 6 miglia di strada sterrata e 8 miglia di autostrada.

Relaxing

Nice cabin- true camping vibe. Just a note for location it is 7 miles down a dirt road, so running back in to town is not a quick trip.

This. Place. Is. Magical.

Can't overstate how awesome this cabin and location are. Star gazing while you hear the creek, elk bugling, wind in the trees. Super comfortable stay. Would 100% recommend and will be back here!

Perfect Rustic Mountain Getaway

Amazing!

Our kids didn’t want to leave! Absolutely beautiful little cozy cabin. It had everything we needed. We loved the playhouse in the back, the horses down the hill, the big porch and the sound of the stream. We hope to come back again!

Really enjoyed being away from the crowds. Waking up to the sound of elk bugling and having the herd just out the front door was a great experience. Would love to come back to this place for another vacation sometime down the road. James

Stunning Views

Slice of heaven. Very happy we booked here for our first time visiting Yellowstone National Park. Had everything we needed and kids loved loft space clubhouse. Truly a great experience and would book again with no hesitation.

Beautiful log cabin!

We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful rustic log cabin on a picturesque ranch in Montana. Though being quite comfortable, it transported us back in time to the “old west” Amazing view sitting on deck, fields, bushes, babbling brook in the foreground, snow capped mountains in the distance (we stayed in May)…just wonderful. A long scenic unpaved road to access the property was also part of the charm. Very happy we were able to stay at “grandpa’s cabin!”

Cozy cabin

We were vacationing to Yellowstone and wanted a place other than a hotel. This place was clean, cozy and felt like a home. Also the sheets smelled fresh! A place we could relax after a long day of touring and make supper to enjoy outside with our family. The grounds were great to go for walks and visit the horses. My whole family enjoyed and we made a lot of memories.

Wonderful Ranch Experience

Our family had a wonderful time at this property and would highly recommend. It's likely we will be back soon for another visit. This is such a unique and beautiful setting and a great way to explore a backroad in a famous valley in Montana. The key with this property is getting exactly what we expected. We didn't want a hotel, we didn't mind the drive from the main road, and we value the quiet and privacy of being in a rural setting. The area is stunning, the quiet was fantastic and our kids didn't watch a single minute of TV for all of the things around them to keep them busy. (They are 7 and 5.) They played in the creek on the property, visited the animals who came to say hello, had a camp fire, and got their own beads in the loft each night. This is a cabin, to be sure, so don't expect multiple closed bedrooms and multiple full bathrooms, but the views and the setting were spot on. Be comfortable with a gravel road approach and enjoy the sunsets on the deck. We came to float and fish the Yellowstone River, and the location was great for that. One of our put-ins was right at the bottom of the access road to the property. It was also a bonus that Yellowstone hot spring was right at the bottom of the hill.

Slice of Heaven

The McDonald Ranch is truly a slice of Heaven. My family, including my father in law and three teenagers, all loved this home and property. Saw tons of wildlife. The prairie dogs are adorable! Home had every week needed and was very comfortable. Such a wonderful place!

Awesome place to stay!

This cabin was beautifully located and decorated. Gives you a rustic feel and you can hear the sounds of wildlife, but know you are safe since you’re on the Ranch. The hosts were extremely amiable when we locked ourselves out of the house at 10:30pm as well! Came by within 10 minutes to assist us. Definitely recommend this cabin at Shai’s ranch!

an authentic cowboly cabin

this is our 2cnd time staying here,we love the little rustic cabin.it's the little house on the prairie but with moderen conveniences.it gives you the full Montana feeling.We are not into modern cabins or camping cabin trailer park type of places.we love the view here and the quiet.the owners dogs,Finn and Sadie were a very welcome fun guest every morning.That Finn is so smart and loves his ball throwing time.i wanted to take him home!we had 7 in this cabin and it worked out.there is only 1 bathroom so for larger crowds you just have to be patient...bring it back to the old ways and not be in so much hurry.enjoy the scenary and the elk herd travelling across the mountain and the deer that come through.if you want a true Montana experience,book this sweet cabin.it will be a great memory maker!

This was an amazing cabin in a secluded location in a family ranch. It was awesome to be able to get away from the crowds in the evenings. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the fire pit out back.

First Montana visit!

Everything I ever dreamed of! Nice clean cabin with plenty of furnishings, kitchenware, etc. SO much wildlife! Did see a wolf almost at the front door, so watch out! Will return.

5th Generation family on ranch.
Our kids go to Gardiner School and we work here on the ranch.
Summers we travel Montana with the kids and horses rodeoing and working/bonding with our animals.

We like to share the beauty of our place, it is private, quiet and very special for all kinds of reasons.

Our place was homesteaded by great grandparents and cabins they built by hand, we restored for our guests to stay in.
We have horses, some cows, cats and dogs that like to visit with everyone.
They love treats and attention.

All cabins are nicely restored that show the detailed work our homestead family put into building them. Unique hand hewn logs inside and out, old family photos, unique antique decor with all the amenities. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and animals with big yards and decks give everyone enough room to move about and enjoy nature right on the porch. Fire pit for smores, creek flowing by, barbecue grill, indoor/outdoor furniture for everyone's comfort. The horses and dogs love attention and treats.
