Wedding of the year

My family and I traveled for a wedding. We had visiting family and friends and this spacious home allowed for everyone to hang in the same room as well as break off into separate groups.Kids were able to run around in back yard with no worry of them ending outside.The skylights were my favorite part. Ceiling’s are high and rooms are spacious we never felt cramped.If another trip is needed I would definitely do this house again.Manager was easy to work with and always available if needed.All in all great stay

Great Location!

The house had a great location especially if you are wanting to do things in Hollywood area. You could walk to several different museums and parks. We had a family of 11 with 3 different families and a grandma. (7 Adults and 4 teens). There was a bathroom in each of the adults bedrooms and one for the kids to share. The only downside was the kitchen is lacking on pans (cookie sheets) and a few other things and the house is a bit run down. But that aside it was a great house.

A Memorable Birthday Weekend

I had a memorable 60th birthday weekend in LA and staying at the Mid-Wilshire property made it all possible. From start to finish, Josh was very accommodating and very responsive to my messages. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a nice quiet neighborhood on a quiet street. Just a couple tips for future residents: parking is limited with only 3 spots and no street parking. The place is spacious, clean but aging - please don't expect a new home. It is walking distance from the Grove and short driving distance to everything you will need.

Wonderful

My family and my sisters family all stayed with plenty of room. There is one bedroom on first floor if stairs are an issue. Owner was easy to reach. One tip: top lock turns right to open, bottom lock turns left to open.

Excellent stay for a family of large group

The property manager was very accessible and helpful. The neighborhood is lovely and safe. There were so many amenities and household items at the house- paper towel, toilet paper, dishwasher pods. Great sunroom. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. It was the perfect place for our large group of adults and small children to rest and play.

Excellent rental home for a large group

We were in town for our son's graduation from USC. This location was a reasonable distance from the airport and campus, and in a fun location for museums, not far from the beach, etc. It is seven bedrooms with six baths so that was the main reason we chose this property. Josh was an excellent owner/host. He was available for check in and made sure everything worked well. We had one issue with a shower in one bathroom and he had his maintenance person there within a couple of hours to fix it. There are large gathering spaces in the house that were nice for a large group. We would go back!

Roomy Property Close to Everything!

My entire family (all 11 of us) stayed at this property from Dec 22-25, 2019 and were thoroughly impressed with the location and ease of getting around. It is within walking distance to the tar pits which is where several bus tours stop, so if you sign onto a tour, like we did, it is very convenient to stroll over to the tour stop and hop on. Communication with the owner was a breeze and the house was very clean. We would definitely stay there again the next time we are in Los Angeles.

Great property but wouldn’t go again

Property is really good, great neighborhood, loved the kitchen, loved the artistic taste of the host, comfortable and cozy place, liked the beds they were comfortable, kids loved the place. The downside I feel is the parking, it’s too tight, no outlet to charge your car as the garage is locked, you give the host prior notice to get access. My big issue was the water for shower as there are multiple bathrooms but I would say at a time only 3 might work well for shower. As we were large group it was really inconvenient. When mentioned this and other items we found in the house to the host, he said my expectations were “out of wack”! Host offered me a credit after 1st day and asked to leave the place in a hour, we came for 3days and Had tight schedule we didn’t have time to relocate and find a new place we just stayed there. Great place but not great experience, will not go again.

Large perfectly located home

Well maintained home in Mid Wilshire walking distance to museums, etc. Lots of room. Host was available and extremely helpful. We would definitely book again for our next LA family gathering.

Overall very nice!

This property is very nice and very well furnished! We did have a few shower/water pressure issues, and the property was not ready until 1 hour after check-in time, but our experience was good overall.

The Mid-Wilshire experience

The size and location of this property is wonderful. It suited our needs perfectly. The only down side was parking. I had emailed the owner to ask about parking and was told we could park 3 cars in the driveway and there is a permit sticker for one car on the street. There was no street parking available. We had to find other parking for the fourth car. Other than that, everything went smoothly.

Excellent house for larger groups!

I rented this property to house my extended family during my daughter's wedding. We couldn't be more pleased with the ample space and bedrooms/bathrooms for our group of 14. The owner was always in communication and graciously allowed us to host a brunch for friends and family including that of my new son-in-law. We never felt crowded and it was a great experience for all! The house is also located within a short walking distance of many great museums, the La Brea Tar Pits, excellent restaurants (Eleven Diner was a fav!) and Ralph's grocery store along with many fine shops. Highly Recommended!

Uber Cool Stay!

We are a non profit and needed to host our international guests for the annual event April 10-15. Josh was super nice and helpful, letting me tour the house prior to booking and patiently answering all my questions. The house itself is superb. The interiors are stunning with a modern and well equipped kitchen, large and comfortable couch, adjoining study with a mess hall type table our guests loved to work on. The rooms are spacious with ensuite bathrooms and tasteful decor and best of all, a lovely view. There's a sun room and a backyard patio, both of which our guests used for informal gatherings and quiet conversations. We are extremely happy with the experience and hope to return next year. Great space for a group of 14

This home provided a nice place for my family and siblings to stay while in LA for my daughter’s wedding. Great kitchen, open floor plan, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. A couple of small issues but Josh was good to respond. Was a nice place to hang out as a party of 14 and still have some space for alone time if needed.
