A little haven

Staying at this property was amazing! It was a little haven in our chaotic trip! The cottage is beautiful, peaceful, and homey. The owner was kind, helpful, and even left a little treat for us when we arrived. She's put a lot of thought and attention to detail into this property and it shows! We'll treasure the memories of this trip!

Great Getaway in the Highlands!

This place was exactly what we needed on our trip. Staying here our last week in Scotland was indeed beautiful. The cottage had everything we needed and Julie was so helpful and nice. Short drive to Inverness and many things around there to do. If I get lucky enough to come back I’ll definitely be wanting to stay here again. Thanks for the wonderful memories!

Beyond Expectations

Such a lovely cottage and the attention to detail with quality bedding, kitchen crockery, fresh flowers & treats waiting, nice soap / moisturiser..it really felt like a home away from home. Also great location for walks straight from the house 😊

Amazing stay, amazing hosts!

Our stay at Julie and Rob's cottage was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beauty of the place—it's even more stunning than the photos! The cottage had ample space for my wife, our two young children, and me. It was spotlessly clean, and the kids were thrilled to find a cupboard full of games and activities. We loved cooking in the well-appointed kitchen and taking peaceful walks after dinner along the rural roads and into the nearby forest. The area felt very safe, and Julie and Rob ensured we had everything we could possibly need. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made our stay truly memorable. We can't wait to return!

Home from Home

The cottage has all you need, great location to access other areas. Very clean and quite. Check in and out was seemless and you are left to enjoy your stay. The cottage has all you need and the welcome treats are much appreciated. There were only the two of us but plenty of space for the four if needed. Lots of information availble at the property regarding the area and beyond. Loved our stay and will return ❤

Enjoyable stay

We had a very enjoyable stay in the rather small, but very cozy and clean cottage. Everything we needed was there, all very new and of good quality, chosen with good taste. A very nice welcome package with some foods , wood for the fireplace etc.. was very much appreciated. Well situated to visit Loch Ness and others. Loved Scotland and its beautiful nature! Perfect!

One of the best holiday properties we have stayed in. Spotlessly clean and thoughtful decor; beautiful landscape prints everywhere. Everything you could possibly want for a weeks stay with a well equipped kitchen, amazing shower and private outside space. Location is great and within walking distance of shops/pubs/ woodland walks. Helpful, friendly hosts who were on hand if needed. Will be returning!x

Fantastic Accomodation

This property was just as described, very clean and well equipped. Two of us stayed for a week and found the cottage to be very comfortable for that length of stay. We can also see where four people would also be comfortable here. It is a quiet street and has plenty of parking. There are a lot of small touches around the cottage that you could tell a lot of thought has gone into setting up a wonderful accomodation. You will be glad you booked this cottage. The private back garden is beautiful in the spring and if you are lucky with the weather a great spot to relax after a full day if activity. We would 100% stay here again.

Great place -even better than expected

We loved your cottage. Everything we needed and more was on offer. Comfy beds, lovely sitting room and a fantastic power shower! The secluded garden sitting area was an unexpected bonus. Having a great pub restaurant minutes from the house was very handy, and of course there is so much to do in the Drumnadrochit area. The host was on hand, yet unobtrusive. Very helpful. We highly recommend this cottage!

Ce cottage est magnifique et juste parfait. Emplacement, propreté, équipements, etc. On se sent comme a la maison. De plus, Julie est adorable et à notre écoute. Je recommande les yeux fermés ! Rarement eu une telle expérience sur une location ☺️☺️☺️

Perfect Cottage as base for exploring!!!

We had a beautiful week in the Scottish Highlands. We stayed at the cottage and it was a lovely place to come home to each night and to relax when we were tired in the morning and cook a lovely breakfast. They had everything we needed and much more. Chocolates, Prosecco, Chips, Coffee, Tea and all the cleaning supplies etc you might need. Lovely , comfortable home. I would definitely return!!!

I am an Engineering Geologist from Glasgow, but have recently relocated to the area and work in Inverness. I've been coming to this area for years, being a keen hillwalker and have a love of the outdoors. I fell in love with the wee cottage as soon as i saw it. It has all the character you'd expect from one of the oldest houses in the village, but has been recently renovated to provide you with all the comforts you may need. Living locally, I know how convenient a location it is, with much to offer and can provide you with suggestions of what to do with the time you have here if needed. The cottage will provide you with a great base to explore the area and make your stay an enjoyable one.

The cottage is ideally situated for exploring the highlands, whatever your interests, with the following attractions being less than an hour away:
- the city of Inverness
- boat trips and Loch Ness Monster centre in nearby Drumnadrochit
- dolphin spotting at Chanonry Point
- walk, cycle, paddle or nordic ski! the Great Glen Way
- skiing the Nevis Range (Cairngorm just over hour)
- ample walking/cycling to suit all abilities and time-frames (including Glen Affric, Glen Shiel, Loch Mullardroch and Strathfarrar)
- day trips to Fort William, Aviemore, Beaully, Ullapool, Findhorn, Culloden and the road to Skye

My cottage is a well proportioned, comfortable, 2 bedroomed traditional build with a secluded garden, sitting out area, lockable storage, oil central heating and log burner. It's set in the picturesque village of East Lewiston, close to the shores of Loch Ness, within 5 minutes walk from pubs, an inn and local shop, riding school, 15 minutes walk from Urqhuart Castle and 20 minutes drive from the City of Inverness. Perfect for a couple or family on a budget seeking to get away from it all but with all the conveniences of a city being close by
