Very clean, pleasant, and well-supplied

This guest house was just right for our weekend stay near family in Lancaster. Super clean, plenty of supplies in the bathroom and kitchen, air mattress for our 4th person, and we were able to bring our dog with us, which was great. Good communication with host, too, so we had everything we needed.

Another lovely Christmas visit

We enjoyed our second visit at the guest house. Hannah responds promptly to text messages and is very accommodating. The guest house is comfortable and warm in the winter and the kitchen is well stocked. It's close to shopping and ice cream and the owners have a little store if there's something your forgot to bring. Would recommend!

Quaint and Quiet

We loved our stay at this property. Love the aesthetic and how peaceful this little home is. There is no television here, which is actually such a nice change of pace from any other place we've stayed at. We did not have the opportunity to interact with the host family as we kept getting back to the home late at night, but they are readily available and appear eager to please. Would recommend for a nice R&R getaway!

Great Place to Stay

We had a great time staying there. The host family was very gracious and even brought us a Thanksgiving dinner that was delicious (We stayed there over Thanksgiving.) The house was exceptionally clean and anything that we needed was there. Please stay at this place. You will thoroughly enjoy it.

Fun and relaxation

We were very excited about our stay. We were very close to the Sight and Sound theatre to see Daniel, American Music theatre to Christmas Show-Joy to the World, National Toy Train Museum, National Train Museum, and all the Amish buffets. Our stay in the house was very comfortable, relaxing and clean. We look forward to staying there again when we drive back up to see Noah.

The guest house was very clean and exceeded our expectations! The space itself was beautifully decorated and very clean, The location is ideal for visiting all the Lancaster attractions. Overall, my experience was fantastic! I would highly recommend staying.

A wonderful little vacation house

My girlfriend and I were traveling to the area to attend the PA Ren fest. This was a lovely little town to stay in. The house had so much space for two people and was well decorated. The owner came to greet us when we arrived. Lovely little cat that lives on the property came to greet us each night. Highly recommend this spot

Pleasant Stay on the Farm

We took a family girls’ trip to see the Daniel experience at Sight & Sound Theater, and this Chateau was a great spot for us to stay while in Leola. Close to all the sightseeing we could do, we also enjoy being greeted by the farm cat and dog, Gracie. We took a stroll in the vegetable garden, and we walked down to Fox Meadows Creamery. It was a quiet neighborhood, and we felt safe, even though it was right on Main St. The house had all the amenities we needed and was very clean and comfortable. It even had everything we needed to make most of our meals onsite. We recommend staying at this sweet getaway.

Pet friendly and conveniently located

The apartment was the perfect size for for our family of four and our dog. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking a few meals at home to save some money. The bathroom is large and well laid out. If you're looking for ice cream, check out Fox Meadows creamery, a short walk away or drive a few minutes to Hayloft ice cream. At Hayloft, you can feed ducks and fish in the adjacent pond. Achenbachs bakery, just down the road, has some good long johns.

Amazing stay

The place was immaculate and had everything we could ever think of needing. After having several leas the appealing stops the last several days, we quickly fell in love with this place. We didn’t want to leave. We will definitely plan to stay here again in the future.

Simple and relaxing

I am someone whose life revolves around schedules and timing and sales and a lot of moving parts. It was such a relief to come out to this area and be 20 minutes from pretty much every place we wanted to go. We all loved the slow pace and the ability to just sit and enjoy the quiet as a family. This property has no TV and poor cell service which is ideal for us to spend time with our small children and focus on them and their sense of wonder and play. We were able to focus on our children which in a family trip should be top priority. The family was generous and hospitable and our children got along great with theirs. Very much recommend. This property.

Absolutely gorgeous home

We enjoyed the weekend celebrating our anniversary here. The home was well stocked from the kitchen to the bedrooms as well as the bathroom. The home is immaculate and beautifully decorated. Excellent Lancaster Area Stay

Quaint, tidy unit, easy access to Lancaster Pa and all the area events, Green Dragon, Sight and Sound Theater, American Music Theater, Outlet Malls, Strasburg Train, both the Toy Train and Pa large train museums and plenty of restaurants. The Gingrich family that run the place are very pleasant and easy to work with, no issues during our stay. Highly recommend staying here and we would stay here again.

Clean cozy small house, well supplied, quiet

A lovely 2 bedroom small cottage, very clean, and well supplied. There is no television but we could care less. We went shopping, sight seeing, enjoyed driving around the countryside to see the clean huge Amish and Mennonite farms. We played games and just relaxed. Would definitely return.

Nathaniel & Sara, with their six children live on the same property in the main residence. We purchased the property in the spring of 2015 and immediately began working at preparing this guest house as a means to accommodate Nathaniel's family when they visit as they are all from out-of-state. They wish to share these accommodations with others, and look forward to meeting and serving many new friends.
