Costaguti provided our group of four with room to relax, a refuge from each day of sight-seeing, a central location to Rome’s best bars, restaurants and historical sites and concierge service to set up reservations for dinners and a day trip. The apartment, part of a remodeled palazzo, has soaring ceilings with frescos, gilded arches and gorgeous preserved architectural detail with all of the modern lighting and amenities you could want. There are five bedrooms, five full baths and one powder room affording a big group privacy from one another while the living room/ dining room combo and “hobby” room with billiards table, perfectly tuned guitar and well-stocked liquor cabinet provided multiple gathering areas for dining, lounging and fun. The kitchen was well-equipped and easy for us to cook our own meals on the days we did not dine out. Beds are firm, water pressure strong and we were able to adjust the temperature throughout to our comfort. The location was perfect! We walked to the Via del Corso, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, The Forum, Palatine Hill, The Coloseum, The Pantheon, Campo di Fiori, Piazza Farnese and Trastevere. The sound system in the apartment was stellar and provided us access to Spotify to play whatever we liked. There is a TV in every bedroom as well as the living room, strong reliable WiFi, a sauna in one of the bedrooms as well as a washer/ dryer combo that worked great. My review cannot do justice to the majesty, luxury and comfort of Costaguti. None of us wanted to leave and neither will you! I highly recommend staying at Costaguti when you go to Rome....it’s a real treat!
