L'appartamento (n. 3, Kingsdown) è all'angolo di Ridgway e The Downs. Ci sono ingressi sia da Ridgway (fronte) che da Downs (retro). C'è un citofono all'ingresso posteriore. Questo è un appartamento al piano terra.
Tutti i windown sono doppi vetri e bloccabili. Le griglie scorrevoli Banham sono montate su tutte le finestre. Riscaldamento e acqua a gas.

Appena entrati nell'ampio corridoio, sarete accolti in una luminosa zona giorno a pianta aperta (19ft2 x 15ft7, 5. 9m x 4. 8m) che è stata decorata con un tappeto color crema e pareti bianche. L'ampio soggiorno sala da pranzo ha un divano a 3 posti, due sedie e una zona pranzo separata con un tavolo di legno scuro con sei sedie. TV, lettore DVD, stereo e lettore video offrono opzioni di intrattenimento.

Un balcone al largo del salotto attira il sole nel pomeriggio.

Quick trip to Greater London

A wonderful experience overall in this very spacious, comfortable, well equipped flat. The location was fantastic & Wimbledon Village (10 mins walk) offers a little of everything. There is a great Co-Op convenience store 5 mins walk away for essential food items. The flat was a home-away-from-home, relaxing & peaceful. Our hostess Coco was very nice. Lisa was the housekeeper onsite for keys etc. & was really lovely! One suggestion: bring soap/shampoo as these are not provided.

Ideal home base for London visit

Home was clean and quiet - very restful. Just off the bus route and within walking distance of several good restaurants. We'd return from a long day of sight-seeing in London and be able rest comfortably at our "flat" and recuperate and rest for another day of adventure. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay.

A great place to stay.

My family and I had a great tine staying at the flat. Perfect place to stay with your family and enjoy a vacation. Bus stops close which made it easy to travel. Grocery stores and restaurants were withing walking distance. Would recommend to anyone.

Great location

Perfect spot close to Wimbledon village, the common and great pubs. Spacious, tidy and very comfortable home with everything you need for a family. Coco and Lisa were very helpful and accomodating making the stay nice and easy. Great place to settle in for a few weeks and enjoy London.

Lovely well appointed flat with transit options nearby

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean and neat Wimbledon flat. Plenty of room for our family of five adults. We used it as our launching pad to do daily trips into London for sightseeing and shows. Our host was very communicative and had detailed instructions available. The rooms were good sized and there is a nearby Tesco for groceries and additional supplies. There was a hair dryer on the premises that worked but do bring a converter for flat irons. Beautiful kitchen with lovely dishes and glassware. We used the Italian press provided for coffee each day.

Wimbledon quiet space

Delightful flat...cosy and welcoming, situated in the Wimbledon area with access to reliable transport , beautiful parks, pubs, restaurants and shopping. When you close the door the peace and quiet is a salve after a busy day.

Fabulous home for stay in this area. It had everything one could wish for.

Coco and David were fabulous hosts and most helpful from the word go! Their beautiful home was very comfortable. The three bedrooms perfect for a family or a few couples. The kitchen was well equipped, lounge and dining area lovely.. The beds also comfy. Wimbledon is a lovely area with lots to offer (including the tennis), close to bus and trains, with good access to all London has to offer. Would certainly recommend and stay again.. Thank you again Coco and David..

Great Wimbledon Stay

My two month stay in this very lovely and comfortable property was all that I could wish for and more. The flat is roomy, very well cared for, and is the perfect location for an extended stay. The kitchen is well equipped, the sitting room and dining room are beautifully furnished and decorated. The three bedrooms are very comfortable with great beds and bedding..The location is lively but well out of the tourist crowds but near shops and the high street. The owner went out of her way to be accommodating to my needs and she communicated with me before and during my stay to be helpful. I highly recommend this property without hesitation.

Our Visit to Wimbledon

We had a lovely week in Wimbledon. The three-bedroom, two bath flat was perfect for our family of five. Stores and pubs were close by and access to the Wimbledon train/tube station was very easy with nearly bus and of course black cabs. All of us sat in Saturday 6 May 2023, our daughter's first wedding anniversary with a front row seat to watch the Coronation. Great time had by us all and we highly recommend this flat. Thanks to our hosts, David and Coco.

Amazing place

Loved this beautifully decorated flat, very spacious and was outfitted with everything you could possibly need. Very clean, the two showers were a blessing for our party of 3 women, and having our own bedroom was wonderful. The location was extremely convenient and quiet, bus stop to Wimbledon station was less than a minute away. Pubs and shops were a walkable 10-15 minutes and the area felt very safe. We loved that there was an ample supply of fresh towels and various toiletries on hand in case we forgot something. We did find the apartment hot but there were fans in every room plus London was having a heat wave at the time! It didn’t affect our sleeping, beds were super comfortable and we all slept very well! I would highly recommend this place, Coco was very easy to communicate with and we loved her taste in furnishings and art. Thank you for allowing us to stay in such a lovely peaceful place, it was the icing on the cake on our trip to London.

First trip to London

This flat was everything we needed and more. We loved that we were almost directly across the street from the 200 bus that got us to Wimbledon Station—from there you can get anywhere in London. Get a visitor Oyster card! We also loved The Hand in Hand pub, a short walk down the alley across the road. Groceries were easily available within a half mile. We didn’t do much cooking, but the kitchen had everything we needed. We were in London for the record breaking heat wave. With the fans, we air-conditioning loving Americans were able to survive. Plus, we were able to wash and dry clothes easily. So we didn’t have sweaty clothes lying around. We were sorry to leave. A perfect location close to central London!

Good quiet location and a good sized comfortable apartment

Good sized apartment, well-located. There were a few problems with our rental. An infestation of ants in the kitchen led to our buying ant traps which solved the problem. The sink tap in the bedroom was very stiff and difficult to turn on and off. There isn’t a mirror near a socket so it isn't easy to use a hair dryer. Two of the sets of keys didn't work well. We were locked out of the building on one occasion and had to wait until another resident could let us in. Overall, the property seems tired although the owner did say that a renovation was planned. The owners were easy to deal with and responded quickly to all enquiries.

Perfect choice for visiting London and surroundings

Together with my family (3 Kids, my wife, my mother) I spent a full week in March 2018 in Coco's flat. We really enjoyed the stay there! The flat is spacious, comfortable, equipped with whatever appliances you need and lovely decorated. And it is very quiet! We could even sleep with windows open without being disturbed by traffic noise. A fact we really enjoyed after spending a full day in crowdy London! Access to any sights of interest is quite easy: within 40 to 60 min we easily reached Maritime Museum, V&A Museum, Covent garden, National Gallery, Hampton court,..... by public Transport. There is also a good opportunity to buy food or find a place to eat in the direct vicinity, 15 min by foot (or even shorter by bus) Communication with Coco was really a pleasure! She fully supported all "preparatory work" in a very pragmatic and flexible manner so I always got the feeling just to visit my own flat. Thanks Coco for that! Bottom line: I would say if I next time plan to visit London and Coco's flat is not available I would rather stay at home. The experience was just to good.

Cozy flat in a quaint Village

The flat was well equipped and cozy and the perfect launching pad for our London adventure. Walking distance to Wimbledon Village and tennis center. Easy access to trains and buses made our day trips convenient. The host was very responsive and provided us with the perfect home away from home!

Perfect Stay in Wimbledon

Great location, equally close to Wimbledon Common, the Village and the town itself. The apartment was well appointed for our stay, and we couldn't have asked for better assistance from our hosts. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely Wimbledon home

Coco and David’s home in Wimbledon was everything we hoped for. A great base to visit family and friends for Christmas. Superb access into Central London. It was comfortable with all the amenities you could wish for. As a ground floor flat was particularly suitable for my 93 year old father in law who was staying with us. We also had son and daughter in law visiting from the US and the three large double bedrooms and two bathrooms were just right. We would definitely love to stay again. Truly a home from home.

Wonderful stay on Ridgway Road

Coco’s flat was very spacious with two great bats and a large kitchen and living area. A great location with the 200 bus stop being extremely close and the bus going straight down to the Wimbledon rail and tube station. Couldn’t be a better place to stay.

Lovely Wimbledon Flat!

We had a great time in London staying at this flat. It was large and had everything our family of five needed for a 10 day stay. From the beginning, Coco was amazing to work with and answered all our questions quickly. It is about a 45 minute commute to most locations in London, but the bus, trains, and subways were easy to navigate. I would recommend this flat and happily stay there again in the future.

Great place to stay with family

It was a great experience getting to stay in this flat. Coco was really responsive and kind in helping me secure this place for my family and I would definitely reccomend this property to anyone wanting to visit London. This is our family flat in the UK. We spend most of the year in the South of France, but use the flat while either we or our children and families are in London. Available for short lets otherwise.

We bought this property because it was the most convenient area to come to while we were away in Hong Kong and our children at boarding school in the UK. Easy access to Central London, to both Heathrow and Gatwick London airports and to visit friends, family and place of interest around the country.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

It is not very easy to find an spacious, bright three bedroom flat with two bathrooms within easy access to Central London and the country. The most important thing in my view is that the bedrooms are large - cannot cope with poky bedrooms! We have a 3 TP extender which provides excellent internet access all through the flat, ideal for work at home.
