This lovely retreat sleeps 4 with a Queen and king bed and plenty of space to relax and enjoy your
vacation on Bald Head Island. Guests will appreciate the romantic 4 poster beds, hardwood
floors and sitting area with cable TV. High speed wi-fi is included for your browsing pleasure at
no additional cost. Enjoy serene views of the marsh from within or while enjoying your spacious
furnished deck. Spectacular sunrises begin a quiet and peaceful beginning to your day of
relaxation, adventure, or both! For your convenience, a microwave, mini refrigerator, and coffee
maker will enhance your stay. Starter packs of coffee and gourmet teas are provided along with
your favorite additions. Take advantage of our spacious decks, screened porch, and outdoor
grilling area. Grab a rocker on the front porch to watch the boats, Yachts, and our own Bald
Head Island Ferry come and go in the Harbor – you're on island time! Restaurants, bars, Old
Baldy, and West Beach are a scenic stroll away.
A 4-person golf cart is included for your Island adventures during your stay with us. No worries,
it's free! That is a savings of approximately $80 per day for cart rentals on the island.

Great short-term stay on Bald Head

Most rentals on Bald Head are a week minimum - great to have a place on our favorite island where we can enjoy a long weekend. Ideal location, right on the harbor, close to ferry, shops and restaurants. Rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed, all have views of either the marsh or the harbor. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty, great coffee. Bikes available free of charge, and every room comes with a golf cart for exploring the island. Best part is the friendly and helpful staff.

Rude and abrasive owners

Our room was great, and the Inn Keeper, Amy, was absolutely lovely. Our second day there, our golf cart wouldn’t charge and we noticed the cord had been pulled from the main box. We reported this to the front desk. It wasn’t our doing, but as a renter we understood that we were responsible. The Marsh Harbor male and female owner both left messages to contact them to discuss the issue. No problem on my end until Mr Derrick, male owner of MHI, was rude, said he “had a hard time believing my story” as if I were lying, and when I questioned his comment, he screamed “I didn’t call you a liar, lady.” When I told him I’d have my husband follow-up on Monday he hung up the phone. After speaking with a very apologetic BHI Services, it’s clear the owners never should have called, simply reported it to the property manager (BHI services) who would handle. And, had they followed protocol, I can assure you this would have been a more positive review. We will never stay at MHI or recommend it to anyone. After over 8 years and countless rentals each year at BHI, this has been an absolutely horrible experience. Do not support MHI.

Wonderful inn

Marsh Harbor Inn is a wonderful place for a vacation on Bald Head Island! It is convenient to the harbor and the golf cart that is provided with the room makes it easy to go anywhere on the island. The rooms are lovely and the view is beautiful. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Somehow I misread the listing and thought I had booked a two room suite but it was only one room with 2 beds but it still proved to be adequate for my sister-in-law and myself.

Wonderful stay on Bald Head Island

This is an absolutely beautiful property! It is perfectly located near the Marina and is walking distance to shops, restaurants, kayaking, and the beach. The room is bigger than we had expected from the photos. It was very comfortable and clean. There is a beautiful porch with seating that overlooks the marsh and waterways. I wish we could have stayed longer!
