私たちの家族は80年代にこの家を建て、家族や友人との多くの楽しくリラックスした旅行の集まる場所でした。 混雑やツアーバスなしでヨセミテの美しさを楽しむこの場所が大好きです。 私たちは家を使い続けているので、家には台所用品、基本的な風呂のニーズ、本、ゲーム、いくつかの私物がいっぱいです。

家には、木々や草原の景色を望む大きなフロントとバックのポーチがあります。 正面玄関は、livingストーブのある大きなリビングルームに続いて、大きな窓のあるフルキッチンとダイニングルームが続きます。 ベッドルームとバスルームはリビングルームの両側にあります。 広いリビングスペースで区切られた複数の車両と寝室用の私道スペースがあるこの家は、カップル旅行、複数の家族や友人グループ、プライベートベッドやバスを望む家族に最適です。 家には洗濯機と乾燥機、食器洗い機、暖房とエアコン、衛星テレビ、WiFiインターネット、電話があります。

午後4時以降にチェックインし、午前11時前にチェックアウトします。

No smoking in the house. No bon fires outside or any place in the Park. During HIGH fire danger, NO fires in fire place. Barbecue is Propane safely.
Renter Dumps their own trash bags in dumpsters on Bruce lane before leaving, do all dishes and pots used. check for any lost items.
Check out is 11am so we have time to clean before the next arrival. If you are planning to arrive before 4pm you must contact Diane.

Great cabin and great location
We’ve stayed here many times and love it!! Cabin layout is perfect. Every convenience is provided with clear instructions on how to use everything. There are safety features also, such as active extinguisher in the kitchen. Couldn’t ask for a better host or more interesting cabin.

What fun!
Yosemite was unbelievable and then to come back to such a comfortable gun place was icing on the cake. Loved the owners collections and the place was well equipped for children. I plan to come back at some point with my grandkids.

Good size house in a good location
The house has four bedrooms, which is great. The only negative being that our adult sons were too tall (6'6") to fit on the kid's beds that were in two of the rooms, so they shared one of the larger beds. The house is full of interesting collectibles, but didn't feel cluttered to us and we're minimalists. As wildlife photographers we thought the old cameras were really neat. The house is charming. Some other reviews mentioned it needs updating. The flooring and some of the furniture are dated, but clean and well loved. The washer and dryer were a blessing while we were there. We also appreciated being so close to a camp store with supplies. Lots of movies and games if that's your thing. Overall it was a great place for us to stay and enjoy Yosemite.

We had a great time at Joe’s cabin. It was spacious, well equipped, and had many neat collectible antiques. It was a functional and comfortable place. The host was very responsive and was proactive at providing necessary information.

Spacious, Clean and Excellent for a large group!
The cabin was excellent and we enjoyed our short stay there. We were a little worried that it would be hard to find the cabin given there was no network and since there was a mention of google maps not listing the cabin correctly in the instruction PDF shared before. (Spoiler alert, it is listed correctly in google now). The cabin was a very spacious, with a lot of items to spare time on if you are a large group or a group with kids. The location of this cabin is also quite convenient,as it is in Wawona, just two miles away from Wawona road that goes into Yosemite Valley and under 6 miles from the Mariposa grove welcome centre. There is about an hour drive from the cabin to main attractions in the valley, but the drive along the road is enjoyable.

The fridge was full of food for owner, not a lot of room left for ours and though it was clean with all the collectables it felt dusty and cluttered I would recommend this place

Comfortable home in a great location
Comfortable home in a great location for seeing Yosemite National Park. We especially enjoyed the huge deck on the back of the house as a peaceful and beautiful place to sit.

A Classic Cabin
This cabin is a timeless classic. Lots of fun collectibles inside to enjoy and admire. It has a good location near some fun swimming holes in Wawona. We also enjoyed walking around the golf course and to nearby waterfalls. The cabin has a nice deck with a grill and was very clean upon check in. The host was very helpful and proactive with communication. The kitchen and entire cabin was very well stocked.

Nostalgic
The house is exactly as pictured. Collectibles abound, very nostalgic looking around at all the vintage collections. The table was set and ready for use, but we weren’t sure how long the dishes had been sitting out. There were notes taped up everywhere with directions for everything ( which switches ran which things) The TV’s with all the devices and remotes was a little confusing, but we weren’t there to watch TV so didn’t affect us. Loved having washer and dryer to take care of our dirty laundry. Host was very friendly and communicative with information, expectations and answering questions. This home had everything we needed for our stay in Yosemite.

Great home base for exploring!
We loved our stay! The cabin is very well stocked and filled with interesting collections. The space works well for a larger group, with separated bedrooms, open living space and a big deck. The hosts are very nice ans responsive. And, of course, you can’t beat the location! We hope to come back!

A Family Friendly Cabin in great location
My husband and I took our 3 young adult kids to this well appointed cabin for there nights and 4 days. The property is fantastic in it's functionality for our needs. Our kids are aged 22, 19 and 16. There were 2 bedrooms on each side of the cabin with a bedroom in the middle of each. The middle of the cabin was living and kitchen. There was a huge deck on the back of the cabin. There are tons of games and activities available at the cabin. Because the owners are antique collectors, I would be cautious about having young children there because there are many items around that would be enticing for little fingers. The cabin is older and the decor could benefit from some updating. But all of our needs were met, it was clean, and we were so grateful for such a safe location and the amount of room it gave our family.

Very comfortable and unique
This place has nearly everything you might need and more! unlike the Redwoods property management, it's nice that this property allows extra condiments and things to be left in the refrigerator so there was plenty of BBQ sauce, ketchup, mustard, salad dressing if you forgot something at home. The teens in our group enjoyed trying out all the different gaming systems, Hamm Radio, telescope, etc. In addition to the many items of interest, the decks are fantastic and have ample seating. Beds are comfortable, great split floor plan with 2 bedrooms on either side the the living and kitchen space. Water pressure was good in the shower and A.C. is a plus for the hotter part of the mid-day. We were lucky to witness 4 Bucks grazing while sitting on the back deck. I would definitely consider reserving this house again.

Another great trip
Cabin is roomy and full of interesting decors. Joe response quickly to any questions we have about the cabin. A small market/store within a few mins walk for the cabin that has quite a variety of things. Good location and it is locate inside the park. We had a great time.

Great place made to look like 50"s Hard to find, Suggest yoga mat. Fridge had a lot of outdate food.

The owners built this cabin round 1980s. Most of the cabins in the area can be rented. Best time to go to Yosemite is early spring when there is water running over the water falls. Another good time is in the Fall before any snow builds up on the roads.

The golf coarse is closed 2022. Wawona hotel is partially open 2021 for work. No car gas in the ynp valley. chevron station in Wawona only. The big trees may be open in the summer. glacier point road to be worked on in 2022.

Our family loves sharing the oohs and ahhs of Yosemite National Park with first-time visitors. The world-wide popularity of the breathtaking park can make lodging close to the sites hard to secure. Yosemite does not have as many camp sites as it did in the past and hotel rooms are limited and expensive. There are some options along the rivers and in the Yosemite Valley area. Renting a cabin in Wawona is a unique opportunity to enjoy the park with time to yourself and your family away from the crowds of Yosemite Valley. Renting in Wawona is also a great idea for staging before or after overnight camping or backcountry camping within the park. Over night hiking can be done with a hiking permit from the Wawona ranger station or the Hotel Museum.
