Perfect Location

This well equipped lovely apartment is ideally located near many good restaurants and the grocery store. The apartment is well maintained and very comfortable.

Alvor Solrio Apartment

Lovely apartment, spacious, clean and close proximity to shops, restaurants and beach. Garage for parking the car is very useful. The only negative was the bedding. Pillows were poor and the sheets were poor quality, which was a shame as the apartment is great and in a great location.

Fantastic Apartment

Apartment was in a fantastic location close to bars, restaurants, shops etc and only an easy 15 minute walk to the beach. Apartment was clean and tidy on arrival and has everything that you would need for a holiday. Would definitely recommend this apartment for a holiday in Alvor.

Better than expected

We found this apartment by chance and booked it based on the photos and description. When we arrived we were meet by Fatima the Manager and shown around, it was far better than the photos showed and very comfortable. 5 min walk from the centre of Alvor on a quiet street so perfectly located. We will be back to stay soon.

Just one week . Bonus to find full set of english programmes including sport . So happy hubby . Perfect location just outside the hustle and bustle but a 1 minute walk in .

Lovely, clean modern apartment with great facilities. Building work still ongoing to the rear of the property. Disappointed that the swimming pool was empty for the duration as this was not mentioned by the owners. Shower head required maintenance and the was replaced quickly and efficiently with a new one.

Building site

Live building site in front of apartment, 08.00-18.30. Constant extreme noise. VRBO listing is inaccurate. No reviews posted since building work started summer 2022. Work due to be completed autumn 2024. Owner has denied knowledge of the ongoing work. We’ve requested financial compensation but have not heard from back from the owner. Can you mediate in these circumstances on our behalf?

Fabulous Stay July 2024

We had a wonderful 11 night stay in Sol Rio. Communication with the property owner was always prompt and efficient. Check in was simple and straightforward with the property manager. The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated. We couldn't fault the cleanliness. The apartment is so well-equipped with everything needed for a self catering stay. A travel cot and high chair was also provided for our baby. Location is perfect- 2 min walk to Alvor village centre- 2 min walk to the supermarket. Grounds of the complex are well kept but our only disappointment was the cleaniness and maintenance of the pool area. Both pools (big pool and baby pool) were dirty as if the pool filters were not working properly - dead insects floating, leaves etc. The bottom and surrounds of the pool are in need of maintenence and painting. Lots of the sunbeds were dirty. There were 3 designated beds for this apartment which was plenty. Overall we had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning soon.

Appartement agréable et bien situé!

Nous avons passé deux semaines très agréable en Algarve et plus précisément à Alvor. Le logement était très confortable et présente à mon avis un bon rapport qualité prix. De plus, la propriétaire est vraiment très réactive. Je recommande!!

Top appartement van Isabelle. Geweldige tijd gehad. Verveelt nooit in Alvor ook nog steeds na 10 jaar. Huismeester Fatima is helemaal top. Heeft ons op een geweldige manier ondersteunt.

Excellent Apartment in pristine condition

The apartment is extremely big for a one bedroom with a large outdoor terrace. It is equipped to a high standard although we did eat out all of the time so did not use any of the cooking or washing machines or utensils. The owner and her agent were always very quick to respond to requests and information. Only dissapointing issue was the cleanliness of the pool with dead insects and stain marks around the water line. Some occupiers took it upon themselves to remove the dead insects each morning with a pool scooper but it was still uninviting.
