Charmant authentiek huisje

Wij hebben prima dagen gehad in Brugge, mede ook door het schattige huisje waar wij in verbleven. Ruimte genoeg, alles aanwezig en een authentieke smaakvolle inrichting. Locatie echt perfect midden in het centrum maar toch in een rustige straat. Wij hebben het heerlijk gehad.

Great town house to discover Bruges

What a great little house! 5-star accommodation, right in the center of the lovely city of Bruges. My two daughters, my wife, and I highly recommend the place.

Lovely stay in a lovely house

We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully decorated house. The hosts could not have been more helpful. It is so well situated, close to everything. The outside space really makes the stay complete. Just a few tiny extras would be useful, like a washing up brush, a rubbish bin and a half decent coffee machine, but these are tiny details in an otherwise great stay

Lovely, conveniently located traditional house

Lovely little house in an exceptional location. Only ten minute walk from the train station and minutes walk from the centre of Bruges.Though the property is on a certain generation so stairs are very steep, the roof is low in the top floor bedroom and property is quite cold. We visited in the middle of winter and it was a very cold couple of days and we struggled to heat the property up. This was the only reasn for the slight mark down.

Perfect stay!

Our family of four (w/ older teens) stayed in this beautiful home just before Christmas. The location is perfect, just close enough to the train station to roll your luggage and about 10 minutes or less walk to most everywhere else. The rooms are beautiful and decorated in a contemporary cottage style. The bathroom is extremely elegant in classic marble, and there is also a powder room in the entry. We enjoyed the gas fire and had no trouble with the radiators. It was no problem for us, but do know that both flights of stairs are very steep and require caution. Thank you for sharing this treasure with Bruges tourists!

Amazing stay

Our stay was amazing! The location was amazing, the house was so cute! All the beautiful details were so lovely and well thought out. The stairs were definitely tricky with the bags but luckily I had read in another review to expect them. Loved the use of the fireplace! Mare it so cozy after a cold day of wandering the city. Plus the family who own this place were so helpful, promote and so kind. I highly recommend this place.

“The Holiday” Cottage!

This charming cottage was right out of the Christmas movie “The Holiday.” Each little touch was more magical than the next. I loved the traditional decor and the typical Bruges loft with narrow staircases. The beds were very comfortable, and the home was immaculate! The location could not have been better… Five minute walk to all of the action, but far enough away for quiet evenings and mornings. I would highly recommend staying here while touring the beautiful and medieval city of Bruges.

Storybook setting and accommodations

So many good things to say about our recent stay, from the on point decor to how clean it was upon arrive, it was comfortable, great central location, walking distance to everything. It was very quiet and cozy at night which we really appreciated, we would not hesitate to recommend, We loved our stay!

Lovely house in a great spot

The house was very easy to live in. Plenty of room and very nicely decorated. We walked almost everywhere. There is a grocery store and pharmacy right around the corner. The street we stayed on was quiet and non commercial. Highly recommend it. Carolyne

September 10-17, 2024 Bruges Visit

This location was close to everything my wife & I wanted to visit in Bruges. The apartment was lovely & exactly as described on VRBO. Our only concern is that we like to sleep with windows open & the street where the apartment is located was somewhat noisy on occasion at night.

Lovely and charming

Wonderful home that reflects the city. You leave the classic city of Brugge and arrive home in this classic 18th Century apartment, so there is no end to the beauty. Wonderful and kind, Barbara is the best kind of host. Very responsive. We have stayed in many VRBOs over the last two decades. This one is the best.

Lovely House in Bruges

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. Comfortable furnishings, everything you need is there. Ideal starting point for exploring the whole city by foot. The welcome from Barbara was very warm and we felt welcome. We recommend this house and hope to come back one time.

Great location and beautiful apartment

We had a great stay, Barbara meet us on arrival and gave us a tour of the place. We had a car and were able to drop all our luggage then park it at the train station, a ten minute walk away, it was very convenient. Only down side was the mosquitoes, due to the weather, it was very hot so we had to have the windows open and we’re bitten alive throughout the first night. We ended up at the pharmacy the next day and she informed us that in the inner city mosquitoes are very bad and we had to buy repent for the second night. We shut all the windows and sprayed ourselves but there were still a few mosquitoes, luckily the temperature had dropped, so the two fans provided did help to keep us cool. Overall though the place was great, it was beautifully decorated and had great charm.

Beautiful house and perfect location

Beautiful step-gabled house, very well-kept, in a perfect location. In a quiet street metres from Sint Salvator cathedral, but with the restaurants of Zand square just around the corner; and a short stroll from the railway station.

Perfect and delightful

We would definitely stay here again. We stayed for 9 days and we needed more time. The house was lovely and very comfortable. The owners are extremely nice and welcoming especially when we accidently locked ourselves out. The location is wonderful. You can easily walk to any place in Bruges. The property is located close enough to "the action", yet the neighborhood is quiet and safe. The weather ranged from cool to warm and even a bit hot, but the house stayed comfortable.
