Great location, 1 bed 1 pullout couch, full kitchen

Overall good stay. Awesome location. Two homeless sleeping outside the entrance. Fully equipped kitchen 10/10. Loft bed wasn’t made available, only pull out couch which took up the whole living room. Host said washer wasn’t available, unlike listing. Check in and out was easy.

A place to stay if u r single or a couple.

The place is good for 1, a couple, or a family of 3. It is really a 1 bedroom with a loft, not 2 bedrooms. It is right next to the boqueria. Alley is ok. It is very convient to everything in Las Ramblas. I would stay there again if it was just me or with a partner. Overall it was a good plx

Nice VRBO in Popular Tourist Area

The property was adequate for our needs. It was great to have 2 bathrooms. I would not consider it 2 bedrooms. One must climb a narrow ladder up to a loft in the master bedroom. There is a single size pullout couch in the living room. One thing we found odd is that there were no eating utensils. A good thing to know if you plan to make or bring food to the apartment. It can get noisy but we were prepared and Brought good ear plugs. The noise was not an issue. As others have noted there are homeless at times near the outside door. No one ever bothered us. We felt safe staying here.

Good

Great location minus the homeless people sleeping at your doorstep. Not enough linen as second bedroom or loft had no pillowcases and none in the apartment. The host was quick to run over when asked but only brought one needed two.

Barcelona apartment

The actual apartment is nicely done and very comfortable. The only thing is the state of the building outside. The street is quite dirty and there is a man living beside the entrance begging. We enjoyed our stay however and the host was very easy to work with.

Location was ok, but be aware that there are homeless people sleeping right outside the entrance to the building, every night. There is a loft, but within the same bedroom and difficult to access, via ladder.

Right next to La Boqueria.

We liked how convenient it was being right next to the famous market place for 4 nights (Wed-Sun). We arranged a meeting point to get the key from the housekeeper. The place is a one bedroom condo with high ceiling; two bathrooms; a small mezzanine in the master bedroom; European style living, not spacious; air conditioning was good and quiet. It was a good choice for a family of 4, with young children. The unit was clean; laundry machine (no dryer) was available; however, laundry detergent was not supplied. Be prepared to see homeless people around the premises.

Great Gothic Experience

This is a wonderful location, in the heart of the Gothic Quarter area of Barcelona, right next to a thriving market. A totally unique experience - a lovely unit in an old-style area.

Barcelona Boqueria Market

Great place to stay! Very clean and the best part is that the host is very attentive and keeps very good communication with his guests. The apartment was great and very clean and the air conditioner was amazing. The only thing I would say is to be aware that there are no elevators and you do have to climb stairs with all your luggage to get to the apartment and also very noisy outside the apartment at night. If you don’t mind either of those things then this is the perfect place to stay with the perfect location! Very very close to las ramblas!

Central Location

The location of this apartment was amazing. We walked to many places, the Metro was a few steps away, and easy to grab a taxi if needed. It was hot during our stay, and it was great having air conditioning that worked so well. Yes, some homeless people sleep outside the building, but they never bothered us, did not block the door, and did not arrive until later in the evening. We had a great stay!

3 night stay in Barcelona

Location was great. Apartment was perfect for the two of us. We were met the day of check-in right in front of the apartment which was perfect. Apartment included all the necessities plus some additional items not all hosts supply so that was an added bonus. Kitchen had all you needed, large fridge and washer dryer was a huge plus. Would come back again for sure

In the middle of the city!

Clean, great communication, great location, close to subway stocked bathroom and kitchen. Great apartment if it was a couple or group of friends, more difficult for a family. One bed is on a loft that is difficult to climb to. It’s very very loud - not just the market but people coming home drunk all hours of the night. Homeless sleep outside door to the building. Sometimes they sit on the stairs of the building and won’t move out of the way.

Apartment is Great, Location is lacking

The good: The apartment is beautiful just as in the pictures and description. New and very up to date. Comfortable beds. More towels would be helpful. It defiantly has all the stateside amenities. The average: Check-in to me is a pain. You have to make a mutually good time and place to meet to be handed key. I’m definitely a self check in kinda person. I would suggest a lockbox somewhere. The bad: the market is neat, kinda loud at times which we expected. We did not expect the steps next to the entrance door to be a hangout for the local homeless. They talk and drink all night and it echos up into the apartment windows. One morning we literally had to step over a homeless person to get out of the door. We luckily didn’t have any negative experiences with them, just tried to not make eye contact and get inside as quick as possible.

First trip to Barcelona!

This place was perfect for our first time to Barcelona as a family. The location was fantastic being located right above La Boqueria, on La Rambla. Very easy access to the market anytime we were hungry, and of course, very easy access to all the shops and food on La Rambla. That was a cool experience. Also there was very easy access to the Metro. Entrances are within a 2-5 minute walk depending on which direction you’re going. The owner was available and checked up on us as we were arriving, and his assistant met up with us, walked us to the apartment, let us know where everything was and even left her phone number in case we needed anything during our stay. Very nice! The only issue we had was that each night upon our return there were men loitering around the alleyway entrance to the apartment. Probably workers from the surrounding restaurants as they stay open pretty late. They never spoke to us or anything like that, but they do hang around a while so if you are sleeping in the living room, you might hear some noise from their banter until they clear out. That’s the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five all the way across. Would do a 4.5 if I could. Still a high rating because of all the pros and the immersive cultural experience it provided.
