Great, relaxing setting

This property worked great for our stay in Belgium. The outdoor space was excellent and the bikes provided gave us a great family ride into Bruges.

A lovely escape to the country

This is a beautiful accommodation in a beautiful setting. The description is correct in noting the "eye for detail": the interior decor is stunning. The loft / open concept was ideal for my husband, son and I and the location allowed for daytrips to Bruges, Ghent as well as some cycling along the canal (although the bicycles are in need of some maintenance).

Beernem stay

A beautiful spot, one of the nicest places I have stayed in. The grounds and surrounding county side is beautiful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a spot near Brugge.

Tranquil stay close to Bruges

We enjoyed our stay in this unusual property in a tranquil location. It is very well equipped and everything we needed was there! We loved the bikes and we used them to cycle the 13km along the river bank to the centre of Bruges.

Best place to stay to explore wonderful Belgium

Great place to stay, you are surrounded by green and silence, you can perfectly relax and calm down. Great nature around and easy access to all sight seeing attractions like Brugge, Gent and the coast with its beautiful beaches. Super cosy and nice house, you find everything you need for a perfect stay. We will definitely come again in the future.

Rest and Relax in the Countryside

This is a great house to rest and relax. It is in a great location that makes it easy to get to the beach and surrounding towns. We loved the alpaca neighbors next door and walked into town for a fun food truck rally. It was a nice weekend out of the city.

Peaceful and cosy

We spent 4 nights over Christmas at the property and had a lovely time. It is in a great location to explore the area, close to the motorway, but in a quiet rural area surrounded by fields. The property is well equipped and has a great kitchen with a fantastic oven. We didn't really make the most of the garden due to it being cold and damp but it was nice to have a safe enclosed space for our dog to explore. It would be a great place to relax in the summer.We made good use of the log burner which made the place really warm and cosy. The only thing I would point out is that the stairs to the bedrooms are very steep and more like a ladder, with no handrail on one side. It maybe a good idea to have a picture of these on the listing or at least mention them in the description, as someone with limited mobility or very small children may struggle.

Great place to explore the Flanders region.

We had a great stay for a week at the house. It was very well presented with all amenities you would expect. The kitchen/living area was very stylish and also very easy to use. It's rare to go to a house in another country without really struggling to use the kitchen equipment (in particular the oven), but this wasn't the case here. The bathroom was really good with a fantastic shower. The wi-fi worked well. The living area was very comfortable, we enjoyed spending evenings sat inside or having a meal outside when the weather was good. The grounds were lovely and our son particularly enjoyed the trampoline. The location was very good, with easy access to all of the Flanders region by car, bus or rail. If you really wanted to cycle around the area, there were some bikes available (in excellent condition). We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we were in the area.

Lovely property

It's a nice place in a lovely, quiet spot. It would be especially nice in summer, when you could eat outside and enjoy the views. I give this 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons: 1. It is listed as a two-bedroom facility, but it is not. It is a one-room cabin with an open loft. The bathroom is private, but the two "bedrooms," located upstairs, are only separated by a saloon-style swinging door. Indeed, you have to walk through one to get to the other (e.g., to go the bathroom at night), and anything said or done in one can be readily heard. 2. The stairs that lead to the loft are more like a ladder than stairs. VERY steep and shallow, and no hand rail on the open side. Hard to get luggage upstairs, and could be dangerous for seniors, young children, etc. If those are not a problem for you, then this is a good place.

Kleines nettes Haus für Paar super

Perfect Flandern

Wunderschöne Unterkunft, sehr gute Ausstattung, alles vorhanden was man braucht! Highlight sind die Fahrräder mit denen man super nach Brügge fahren kann. In der Nähe ein toller, großer Supermarkt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder, denn wir hatten mit unserem Hund eine fantastische Zeit!

Séjour en famille fabuleux

Superbe propriété au calme pour passer d’excellentes vacances en Flandres. Idéalement située à proximité de Bruges, le lieu parfait pour des vacances en Belgique. La maison est joliment décorée, très bien équipée et c’est un réel havre de paix. Je recommande fortement !

Rustig gelegen met leuke tuin

Het huisje is rustig gelegen en de tuin was zalig om in te genieten met zitkeuze genoeg. Zeker de overdekte bank met tafel was gezellig zitten. Leuke trampoline om even wat hoogte te maken om over het landschap te kijken was ook zeker de moeite waard. Bedankt voor deze leuke ervaring!

Wij zijn Dimitri en Joke De vriese...dimitri heeft de woning volledig zelf gebouwd...het heeft vele jaren in beslag genomen omdat hij op zoek geweest is naar oude bouwmaterialen zoals de oude bourgondische daktegels die van frankrijk komen en alle blauwsteen zowel binnen als buiten komt uit een klooster in de buurt die nu dienst doet als service flats...de inrichting hebben we samen gekozen en sommige dingen zijn zelfs mee gekomen van het buitenland...We hebben een zoontje van 2...Tibo en wonen in Oedelem
